- Check out the new shop space and how we moved all of our equipment over. Well almost all of it. We still have a few items left at the old shop to get over here. All the really heavy stuff is done though.

My son has the same 7 h p shaper, and recently bought a new 5 h p model as well.
I dont think they offer the 7 h p any more, but he seems to like the 5 h p just as well.
He likes having 2 so that he dosent have to be changing the setup as much.
His edgebander is an older model Holzher, which still works very well, And he knows how to service every part of it.
He blocks his machines up off the floor a bit so that he can slide his pallet jack under them.
Except for the saws, they sit right on the floor.

I have the same dual drum, same feelings as you, great machine definite game changer for sure, I was considering another wide belt when I bought it, main reason I didn't go with wide belt is cost and frustrated with belt chatter.

Allocate funds for a dock plate or ramps that will allow you to move forklift inside ASAP if you cannot get ramp go get a cover made by a boat top/cover manufacturer, otherwise the forklift will suffer form exposure to the elements and be a target for thieves, so in any case put gps tracking on the forklift that sends a signal to your phone if forklift is moved. I always make a small scale drawing of plant to fit on a single letter size sheet and locate all doors and fixed walls then take post-it notes and cut small to scale post-it boxes/rectangles that I write the piece of equipments name on that I can then stick inside my scale sketch and try different layouts for all the equipment and worktables and shelving achieving a productive efficient layout from the gitgo, it's much easier and all I risk is a paper cut rather than moving heavy items around in a form of heavy equipment ribik's cube. OK cannot fix that so put location protection device on forklift and have cover made to protect forklift and keep its resale value. BUY or add theft insurance if possible. Thanks for taking the time to respond@@NE_woodworks

What is the device on the front right corner of your workbench?
It’s called a vacpad. It basically has a little vacuum pump hooked up to it and holds work pieces in place
Festool made one that was discontinued that are worth more now if you can find that lets you rotate work piece.@@NE_woodworks
