Thanks for a good tutorial. Easy to follow. Pronounced cham-bray. Chambray is a cotton plain-weave fabric made with a dyed warp yarn and a white filling yarn. Chambray is traditionally light blue in color, but can be found in a wide range of fashion colors. While it may look like denim, chambray is lighter and is woven differently. :)
You would never believe it! But just last wk, I was looking for my summer shirts and I found a lace piece exactly like yours! I think it's so in style and beautiful!
Wow I just found you today love what you done to the shirt it looks fantastic idea for you could you use the left over pieces to make another one in the opposite style you would have to line the lace for the top but feel you did such a good job of this one that would look good too well done beautiful job from jk in the Uk ❤
Thank you! I actually ended up using the other sleeves as pants for my granddaughter. But you have a good idea. I could probably find a couple of shirts to invert like that. I’ll be on the lookout. Thanks for watching ;)
This is quite pretty! I got a half dozen pairs of old denims at a garage sale. They're the old heavy, stiff, no stretch denim. I can wear 2 of the pairs. Looking for suggestions on what to do with the others. The heavier fabric doesn't work too well in clothing that's supposed to be soft and drapey. Ideas anyone? Please tag me if you reply so RUclips tells me. Thanks!
I love the good old denim. It frays so well when you want that look. If they are too big that leaves a lot of options. Or if they are too small you can upsize them with side panels and flares. Or just cut them up and piece them together for a completely different project, wearable or accessory. The shorts I’m doing right now are from a pair too big so I’ll be opening them up on the sides and closing them back with open seams to take up the slack.
That lace blouse was a fabulous find!!!!!
Yes it was! 😉
Cute! Love it!
Thank you! 😊
Very pretty. Denim is so versatile and fun to re-do. And readily available at reasonable prices.
Yes it is! Can’t seem to stop picking it up either, lol. Thanks for watching ;)

What is the name of the cutting wheel? Thanks
I use a Fiskars brand, but there are plenty out there. Here’s a link to one similar to mine.
