Fellow introvert here - I was hesitant to wear my creations in public as well, but I just decided this was the style and personality that suited me and it didn't matter if anyone else liked them. I've actually had a few people come up to me and compliment me on my home made styles, which was a real confidence boost! So go for it! :)
My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, I took sewing all through high school, wanted to a be a fashion designer, well when I got to Hollywood, they were always grabbing me for a sample model or I ended up watching a show front for a real designer. I kept getting taken out of what I wanted to do, because , needed to make money to live on. So now your channel is so helpful, it reminde of details forgotten. Also I found out i'm not that creative on my own. Pretty good copy artist.
I feel a lot of famous and successful people/artists/entrepreneurs have been shut down often in the beginning of their journeys. Don't sell yourself short, I bet your amazing!!!🤗🧡💕🧡💕🧡
I am bowled over with these jeans! Not only do I love, love, love them, but they solve a problem for me. The older I grow (ha ha) the wider I get. My waist is in a competition with my hips to get all the "attention." So I'll give my waist a pair of jeans that fits, and I can stop some of the pain of wearing jeans that fit everywhere but the waist. I love every detail of these jeans. You are such a wonderful designer, Traci! I am so excited about these jeans that I may not sleep tonight! ☺❤

Dear Traci, thank you SO much for doing a video for making jeans bigger! I was hoping that you would do that some day 😊 Now the only thing is to figure out how to make a skinny jeans this way but I guess it's just a matter of making the triangle so that the measurements from about the knee down to the bottom are way wider than when the jeans is straight or slightly flaired already. I have tons of too small skinny jeans so this will keep me busy for months 😂 I cannot thank you enough for all you learn us! ❣❣

Wow, those jeans are everything and a bag of chips!! I love how you create jeans, I seriously could watch you all day long make jeans!! I made a pair of jeans, following you but I made a booboo with the outside hem, if that is possible. I cut right next to the bulk of the hem and sewed it back with the bulky hem sticking out. Oooops. I’ve been so inspired by your channel and I’m now on my 4th pair of jeans. I finally turned out a pair that fit perfectly and I love them. Still haven’t worn them in public yet (still wearing shorts) but will soon and wonder what type of comments this old 67 yr old gal will get, lol!! I’m going to keep turning these pants out and within a year I should have enough to open a small store, lol, just kidding, I actually have no idea what I’ll do with them but may start selling them(???) thanks again!!
❤Love this!❤ We used to do this in the 70's (yikes!). I forgot about this!!! I'd add a 2" piece all the way down. Starting at the knee, I'd add two triangles of fabric on each side of the gusset and make huge bell bottoms. My favorite pair was black (cotton) velvet inset, with lace and satin 'bells' and I hand beaded appliqué flowers cut from the lace all up the legs. Wore those for probably 5 years!😂 Edit: I made a pair using my dad's old ties. They fell apart fast, as in my youth, I never thought of sewing them on to other fabric for strength. I guess you could use scraps of any clothing fabric to do this?

I love the fall. These are perfect for the upcoming season. I bought a placement at Hobby Lobby recently for a pumpkin to put on the back of a flannel. When they run 50% off, some of that sort of thing is a great seasonal pickup. The texture in those flowers is really fun. I have some too small jeans that I'm certainly going to do the side panels in. Thank you for the tutorial.

That’s how I transformed my jeans into bells back in the 70’s, added inserts, flowers, pretty patches.

I love the fall. These are perfect for the upcoming season. I bought a placement at Hobby Lobby recently for a pumpkin to put on the back of a flannel. When they run 50% off, some of that sort of thing is a great seasonal pickup. The texture in those flowers is really fun. I have some too small jeans that I'm certainly going to do the side panels in. Thank you for the tutorial.
