Hi, my name is Stephanie and I've been working with fabric since I was very young. It's one of my favorite mediums. Of course I also enjoy a great bargain, so thrifting and upcycling has become a fun way to create affordably. I've always wanted to share this fun with others and that's why I've created this channel.
So I'm going to B.Stephanie and you b.you.
Let's have some fun. ;)

I couldn’t get what was happening until you put it on and then, WOW! That looks fabulous!
I worry sometimes that I’m not clear enough. Glad it came through in the end 😉
@ that wasn’t you being unclear. It was me. When people are trying to describe what they’re doing with a piece, especially a large piece of fabric, I just usually don’t get it. You did a great job.
i love this! So simple, I'm going to try it.
It's a fun project!
Thanks Stefanie for the poncho video ❤❤ your poncho looks good on you: well done!! ❤
Thank you so much! 😄
I love your easy projects, they always look great on you Stephanie.Thank you for sharing your ideas with us, very inspirational🎉
Thanks, I love finding thrifted items and giving them a new life. 😉
Me encantó 🎉 felicitaciones 👏 ❤
Gracias! 😄
Well done.👍
Thanks 👍
Omg what a cute poncho! Love the turned down collars in front and back. I'll definitely give this a try! Thanks Stephanie
Thank you! It's a fun project 😊
Beautiful!!
Thank you! 😊
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!!! 🎉🎉 I enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much! Happy Holidays to you too! 🎄
Very informative! Love this!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks 😊
@b_stephanie You're very welcome 🙏
That is such a 1970s look. I used to do this to my jeans 50 years ago (but not with neck ties).
Everything thing comes back around 😉. Thanks for watching. Have a great new year!
Nice job! Love it! You could even do some embroidery on the bodice. Very bojo ❤
I was thinking the exact same thing. 😉 But I worry about my machine sometimes and I only had the one sheet. But next time for sure.
I love the transformation
Thanks 😊
Amazing!!💕💕
Thank you! 😄
I love it!! Its so cute, such a unique idea 💕
Thank you!! 😊
That's a wonderful idea. I have been saving beautiful olive oil glass bottles. The cleaned emptied bottles have almost filled one of my windows. Making bags to cover bottles will allow me to use the bottles to make flower arrangements (to give as gifts). I could make the bags in any color needed. This will help keep the reusable dark green or brown glass bottles out of the dump. Thank you for another wonderful idea. Our recycle center does not take glass bottles or jars of any color.
Those are awesome ideas. Way to take it to the next level! Have fun 😉
You are indeed very clever.
Thanks
I love ❤️ it
Cool, thanks
Super fab look and your talent to do this is super.😅
Thank you so much! 😊
OUTSTANDING!
Thanks
This is a wonderful idea. I hate my upper arms, because of the loose skin hanging down from my upper arms. I call my loose skin problem my mud-flaps (because they make slapping embarrassing sounds when I have to move my arms fast). I do not buy (or make) sleeveless clothes for myself (because of this left over weight loss problem). I had never thought of putting sleeves into sleeveless tops and dresses. I know that I am not the only person who has this problem. Thank you for this wonderful Christmas idea, and video.
Thanks. I have the flaps too 😉. It’s a good way to get a little more life out of some pieces. Have a great Christmas 🎄
Omg that is so cute!! Takes real skill to even have that creative vision in the first place, and another level to also execute it
Thank you. 😊
Beautiful 😊
Thank you 😊
You might be able to make a nice head band (scarf, or fabric flower pin) out of the skirt's left over fabric to match your upcycled jeans. Thank you for the sewing tips.. I'm short (5 feet 2 inches tall). I have not tried making my jeans wider or fancy at the bottom; because, I was thinking they would make me look shorter and wide. They work very well on you (and look great with your blouse. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much. Try a bootcut jean, you might be surprised 😉
Yeah, that’s beautiful fabric, it works well for this. I do love me some bell bottoms! Gathering it was quicker but I tend to cut the top to fit leaving the full flare width at the bottom, just so it lays smoother at the knee (no ruffles). They turned out great though! Love them.
Yea I’ve cut them down to fit in the past. Thanks 😊
I like your bell bottom jeans, very nice job. Great idea!!
Gorgeous! Love these!
Thanks!
Very nice!! I love the style that looks nice on you, great job! 👍 Can you sew a Pancho out of a fleece blanket ? 😊
Thanks. And that’s a good project idea. Let me work on that 😉
Ooh. I like the outcome. Thanks for the idea 🤗🌹
You’re welcome 😊
I love that pattern! It looks great on you
Thank you! 😊
That's a really cute dress. On my phone that green looks chartreuse or lime, I like it. I had a knit top that color once upon a time.
I love the color. The old sheet was a good find.
SUPER CUTE!
Thanks 😊
@ 🌺🌸🌺♥️♥️♥️
Where did you find the pattern
Etsy. The pattern is in the full video description 😉
The pleats transformed it.
I know, right. I was excited 😉
Oh that's very cool
Thanks
That is a cute pattern! I like your thrifted sheet color too🎉
Thanks 😊
Love it!!!🎉🎉🎉
Thanks 😊
I forgot that I have a very similar pattern from the 1970s! Your dress is ridiculously cute with the growth pleats. I just may have to steal your concept for myself :-)
Steel away! Have fun. 😉
Love the color. The pleats make it.
I agree! It's the perfect color.
So much cuter with the pleats 👍 Yes i use old sheets to back quilts too, so much material in them.
I know right. Fabric is just so expensive. 😉
That came out nice
Thanks 😊
Gorgeous!!!❤❤❤❤
Thanks! 😊
The skirt was such a long piece of plain fabric that the pleats really added a lot. If you decide to make this pattern, again, and want it long, I suggest you add the pleats to the pattern before cutting the fabric.
Good idea. I love the pleats too 😉
Love the grow pleats 🙂
Me too 😉
hello very nice video please kindly film how to operate the sewing machine electric foot pedal how its used to sew please ok?thank you very much 😊
I’m sorry I can’t get a wide enough angle to show that process
The pleats are everything! So cute
Yep! Thanks 😊
Lovely dress!
I love making pjs with old sheets. They’re so soft. The color looks like pistachio on my tv. I think it’s a popular color right now. ❤️
Pistachio is a great description of the color. 😉
WOW your sassy points just went up a ton with the pants w/ ties woohoo
😂 thanks
A+ on creativity. Neat idea!
Thank you 😊
Very nice ❤
Thanks 🤗
