I have lost my mind making this style skirt. I have 3 maxi length, 3 midi length and one that stops at the knee. This last one is different because I cut off the legs and added the bottom of a floral print dress I also thrifted. I like the way you use your seam ripper to open the leg seam!👌🏾 You only have to make sure the waistband fits you in the thrifted jeans because the crotch and thighs are opened up. ❤
Tgat jot pink is super cute. I like your ideas & how you speed up during the slow parts of the refashion. You have a creative eye. Ty for sharing. FYI, since you asked what i think, this is meant to be helpful: A youtube intro is recommended at 5 to 10 seconds; yours was 1:52.
I have been putting off making a denim maxi skirt with some thrifted jeans, so this video was perfect timing for me! I've been unsure how to handle the crotch area but will try my hand doing it the way you did. It turned out so cute! Thank you.
I have a nice pair of black jeans that I opened up but then I couldn’t figure out how the handle the insert. Now I know. My only problem is it is probably too big for me now that I’ve lost weight.
You might want to try sizing them in the waist either at the sides or back. Or if you have thrifting available locally get you an inexpensive pair to work with. I bet you can size them though. 😉
Love your style…and your humor 😉 Thanks for so many cool ideas!!
You are so welcome!🤗
Good job! I have some old blue jeans. I think I will make one. Thanks for the idea. Can you make a womens gypsy blouse out of a men's shirt? 😊
Great idea! I’m going thrifting right now for materials. Thank you 😉
That turned out super cute... Thanks for the idea of inserting a contrasting panel of fabric. 💕💕
Thank you! 😊
Oops! Forgot to say that your skirt looks beautiful!😍 I like to style the maxi skirt by tucking in my shirt so the higher waist is visible. 🎉
Thank you. I’ve been wondering what to wear with this one. Will definitely be tucking in 😉

Ooooo, good ideas to change up the lengths and I love the idea of adding something at the bottom. Thank you 😊
