Millie: Thank you! Soooo nice! I love the idea of using ties! I’m going to think about how else they could be used….and start looking for them at thrift stores’
I love to watch your channel! I have seen many ‘Tie’ videos, but no one has opened them up before. Brilliant! That had to give you more control of the slick material, which seems to be a common struggle. You always give us good technique solutions to meet your final collaboration , and unique creative ideas. Thank you, for sharing your creative spirit with us🎉🎉🎉😊
It's my first time viewing your videos and I'm thrilled!! I also upcycle clothing. Jean jackets and jeans are my favorite! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos!!
I have seen denim jeans made bigger, and the legs flared, by using neckties. Did you wash those ties to make sure they can be washed without falling apart? It should be easier to have opened the seams in the side and part way down the sleeves of the jacket, press and even the seams up, then cut a gusset (from the denim dress) to make the denim jacket bigger where you need it, sew the gusset in, and finish the seams and hem.
Good idea. I’ll have to look into a project like that. And yes I washed the ties first. Two of them even had labels saying to machine wash. They were vintage. But I was lucky they all came out great in the wash. 😊
Great video love the way you explain so well enjoy watching, look forward to seeing more ❤
Thank you so much!

Awesome! Thank you! They’re my favorite too. I think that’s why I enjoy projects in the colder months more than any others. You have fun 😉
That is a great idea, I would have never thought of using ties. Your jacket looks great! I enjoy watching your videos.
