- Learn how to Download and Install Office 365, 2019, 2016, 2013, & 2010 by following this video. Microsoft Office includes such popular programs as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook. To download and install, you need a product key or an Office 365 subscription. If you have neither, you can still use the Office web for free at Office.com.
- If you have an Office 365 subscription, navigate to Office.com, sign in, and then click on Install.
- If you have 2013, 2016, or 2019, navigate to Office.com, sign in, click Install, and then click on enter product key. Alternatively, you can navigate directly to setup.office.com to connect your Microsoft account to your product key.
- If you have Office 2010, you can verify your product key and download here: www.microsoft....
- If you have 2007, unfortunately Microsoft no longer supports this version. To install, you'll need to find an old CD or DVD to install.

MS made some changes again. Office Prior to 2019 is unavailable. Also, it seems all of my installs are 'un-assigned', which is likely why they're unavailable. However, the web link to download process (if you have prod code) at 3 minute mark works and will take care of you. Thanks Kevin! I'd burned 4 hours and dozens of rabbit holes looking for this gem of info. It is appreciated!
Where do I get product key ?
But how do I install Office 2019 to my computer. I do now want the online version. I've tried for hours and can't figure it out. There is no offline installer on the Microsoft website that I can find.
okay, so I don't know if it worked on you guys but to me, it did not. after I clicked "install office" it started asking to go premium, very different from what Kevin is showing. So good luck!

Where do I get product key
Office 2010 is no longer supported. I purchased Office 365 and I hate it. I have a disk for Office2010 but my new laptop doesn't have a disk drive. Is there another site to download Office2010? I tried copying the disk to a thumb drive but it doesn't work. Any help is appreciated.

My installation was somewhat different. I purchased the Office Home & Student 2019 from the Brazilian Microsoft site, and as soon as finished ordering I was directed to a page with my installation key and a link to download the installer. Upon installation all files were downloaded to my PC. I jumped from the 2010 of the same Office version, which came in a box with an optical media. I asked the Microsoft support how I could make my own media, but I was informed that this is no longer possible. On the other hand the installer let me choose the interface language and later I was offered the Brazilian Portuguese dictionary and grammar correction free, i.e, no need to order these separately. Anyhow this video is still interesting, especially for unexperienced users.
Just a quick note: on the above described installation the supplied key was not needed. When it was finished Office 2019 was already activated and linked to my Microsoft account.

have a question, in previous versions of the office, when installing it would give you two options 1 being install all and the 2nd being custom installation. this option allowed you to intall that application you wanted eg word, excel powerpoint, outlook. leaving out others like the note and access. can we do this with office 365? and how?

I have ms 365. I am being sent csv files, and when i try to open them, i am prompted to open these but it defers to NOTEPAD which encrypts the data ie. no good. Why isn't Excel offered to me to open these csv attachments?? Or better yet automatic? URGENT HELP needed pls.

Excellent presentation, but not working for me. Bought a new mac, had an earlier version of office that doesn't work with the latest Mac OS, so bought a 2019 Home and Student product key. when I log into microsoft and enter the product key, the install button never changes from gray, so i'm stuck. This no longer works for any unsupported versions of office any more. The list includes 2007, 2010, 2016, and very soon, 2019 also.

I realize it has been over a year since this video was published. When I click the Install button from my Microsoft Account, I do not see a link that says "I have an OfficeProduct Key". It *does* show me the list of products I have purchased below, however. I also have an "Install" option listed there. When I click on that, I still do not have a place to enter my product key. In fact, it already displays it for me. :) The Office product I purchased is Office 2016 for macOS. Maybe I am not eligible?

Great video. I followed your instructions and did the download.
Only one small problem. The download got stuck at two-thirds and nothing I did could get it to completely finish. Spent several hours trying to figure it out.
So, no Word 2019. I have no idea what the problem is. I have a new Thinkpad so the issue isn't on my end.
Maybe the reason was that Microsoft decided to do an update right in the middle of the download.
Out of desperation, I downloaded Libre Office. Worked perfectly. 15 minutes. Biff! Bam! Boom!
But I really need Word to layout out a novel. The printer accepts only Word files.

Office can be linked to a microsoft account and you can download again to the same computer in case it gets corrupted and no need to look for the product code. But, how about windows10, can windows10 product key stored in microsoft account so it can be downloaded and installed without the use of recovery media? I recently bought a laptop and there is no windows product key sticker at the back. Thanks!

WHAT ABOUT THE BUY OPTION?
It is sad that you have to create a Microsoft account for this. Not good for business where you may have 40 computers. You don't want to use a MS account for the employee as they come and go out of a business, can't create one MS account for IT to use as there is a limit on how many keys you can attach to an account and there is no real way to distinguish which key is for which computer, so you are left with creating a MS account for each computer and having to manage 40 MS accounts to keep track of what is going on. Volume Licensing is way too expensive and using O365 subscriptions costs more for total cost of ownership and is an operating expense rather than a capital expense. It used to be so simple this Office key goes with that computer.

Hi Kevin. I have been trying to install office for past 3 days but couldn't. After log in when I got to the main page. I can see a button install office. But when I click it, it opens another dialogue box which says other install options -> select a different language or install other apps available with your subscription. Please advise. I was able to download and install my MS Office 2016 from Microsoft without the need of the Product Key because I had it in my "Service and Subscriptions" but it wasn't really easy to find and they keep pushing 365. Some customer support system. 4-star rating installing Office 365 and it doesn't even have the functionality. When will this be addressed? Coming from Windows, Office is a big deal including cloud sync functionality. This need to be resolved.
