I have watched a lot of videos and cannot find a solution for my problem. I have a table set up in word and the doc is auto saved in one drive .When I reopen the next day I see some of the information has moved from one page to another and some item codes have moved from one category to another. How can I fix this issue, its driving me crazy. Got office 365 and running Windows 11

Perhaps I can share what I found useful. I created a word document, saved and minimised it. Then, as the tutorial went along, I would pause and try to apply to my document each function described. You need to apply and try each thing if you are a beginner or you will forget nearly all of it by the time you get to the end. Just a tip. Just a suggestion that worked for me. Thank guys.

Thanks Kevin for the general tutorial on WORD 365. However I am a university prof trying to mark student essays. I have always put comments to help students improve in the right margin using the Review tab. Now when I try it with 365 I can do the first comment ok but then any further comments I try keep bringing me back to the first comment and wont let me type my new comments throughout the essay. What has changed? What can I do? Thanks for any help.
dictate does not show on my word document. I read I have to sign in to microsoft and it would show on my word document, so I did sign in and the dictate icon still does not show on the word. I've seen several videos to try to get this option on my microsoft 365 and I do what the video says, i.e. click on the "intelligence" box under General, but there is NO intelligence as in the video to click on....ugh! I've had microsoft 365 for 8 months and still no go... I know from the videos it's an EASY icon add on, but not on my word????

I have been using MS Office 2007 for years successfully, now I installed 2013 WORD and my problem still exists: I am not able to open hiperlinks, especially to You Yube files I have stored and been using for years. Now I have to paste a link into browser, othewise won't open it. What is going on? I have updated versions on Firefox on one laptop (Windows 7) and Chrom on the other laptop (Windows 10). Please help

Total agreement with all good statements below AND am now relaxed with Word! This allows me to go forward without feeling intimidated by programming I don't understand. You showed us all how to navigate to find help in each area of word. It took going through several videos to find you, but worth the time and effort because you have the knowledge, capability, attitude, and everything else it takes to teach others. I have been searching all day to try and find out why Word does not let me edit a document over my iPhone from the Word app! Its about to drive me crazy because this seems like a very basic thing that I have seen no fixes for. Before you ask, I created and saved the document to my OneDrive account from the Desktop version of Word, that I download as apart of the 365 personal premium membership that I purchased and downloaded to my PC, and I have taken off all restrictions that would keep me from being able to edit it over my phone from the Word app. I can see the document through my Word app on my iPhone, but the edit button is still greyed out. However, I did find out that if I create and save the document through the free online/browser version of Word, I am able to view and edit it on my PC and my iPhone. So what gives??? should I have just kept the free version, because that's how I am feeling at the moment. Why is this happening? PLEASE HELP BEFORE I LOSE MY SANITY!!!
Could you please cover the Save function. I know my Word 365 document is automatically saving in the AutoSave function. But when I go to Save to My Computer and Desktop/OnDrive, and I look for it on the Desktop it is not there. Is there a technique in Word (or maybe another program) where you can click on an arrow to expand items? I'm been working for organizations going through organizations or restructuring for 15 years so every couple years I get a new job title and more duties and have been the person who serves as the project manager for all the changes in addition to what I was originally hired for. I have such a long resume. Is there a way to make it a one pager by just listing my job titles at each company and then when I put the text project manager, the recruiters can click on the title and it can expand to show all the projects I've managed if they want to see all the details? Each job can be 1 - 2 pages itself and I've had multiple roles at each company that gets updated each year.

3 minits in and i see that you havn't opened the desktop app. Your ribbon is completely diffrent. And No, you cant just choose alternate headings as you say, unless your tutorial is about a personal document, which is useless when uploading anywhere, as formatting guides wont accept just anything you choose. Your books must be just as hard to read as you are not clear. I need full volume to hear you, and you have a ton of these videos. I think microsoft is diffrent in each country as i cant find my screen on any tutorial.
Hey Kevin I am one of your subscribers.. Have some issues using my delayed email..hope u can help as I reached out 3x to Microsoft help and they couldn't. I have office 365 and when I set the delay email for time and date as the next day it just sits there the next day in my outbox and I have to manually try to send it. Hi There I need help with Mail merge for labels in word, my Problem is with files from excell with zip codes that start with a Zero, excell removes the zero from 08046 after I change the to text which keeps the zero, but it will not open in word mail merge. How do I convert my mailing list to text file from CSV out of excell, and open it in word mail merge and print addresses with zero?

I downloaded the template from KDP's list of Microsoft Word templates. I have most of the book in place but am stuck with editing the table of contents. I thought your video was very well done. However, it did not address my problem. While working on a big word file, I retrieved my keyboard from across the desk and I must’ve hit something because every time I try to type something it is underlined and The font color is red. I cannot get it to stop. If I type anything it’s in red. I’ve gone to every place on Word and selected black as the automatic color, but it continues to type in red and underlined. I do not know what to do.
Please just do yourself a favour and avoid Microsoft Word at all costs. Use Google Docs for free if you want the all same features as Word and 10 times more. And if you don't need all those features, just user DropBox paper. Microsoft Word is an awful cancer that needs to die

I dont understand why after editing a document, it creates a new version.of the document. So yesterday everytime I.opened the same document to make changes it created a version 1, 2, 3, etc. Why not replace the original document and keep the same name? Is that because I don't have a hard drive. Or is it a setting?

I have been using MS Office 2007 for years successfully, now I installed 2013 WORD and my problem still exists: I am not able to open hiperlinks, especially to You Yube files I have stored and been using for years. Now I have to paste a link into browser, othewise won't open it. What is going on? I have updated versions on Firefox on one laptop (Windows 7) and Chrom on the other laptop (Windows 10). Please help

Total agreement with all good statements below AND am now relaxed with Word! This allows me to go forward without feeling intimidated by programming I don't understand. You showed us all how to navigate to find help in each area of word. It took going through several videos to find you, but worth the time and effort because you have the knowledge, capability, attitude, and everything else it takes to teach others. Nothing is more helpful than a teacher who knows how to teach. THANK YOU! What a difference in how I handle Word now!
I have been searching all day to try and find out why Word does not let me edit a document over my iPhone from the Word app! Its about to drive me crazy because this seems like a very basic thing that I have seen no fixes for. Before you ask, I created and saved the document to my OneDrive account from the Desktop version of Word, that I download as apart of the 365 personal premium membership that I purchased and downloaded to my PC, and I have taken off all restrictions that would keep me from being able to edit it over my phone from the Word app. I can see the document through my Word app on my iPhone, but the edit button is still greyed out. However, I did find out that if I create and save the document through the free online/browser version of Word, I am able to view and edit it on my PC and my iPhone. So what gives??? should I have just kept the free version, because that's how I am feeling at the moment.

Could you please cover the Save function. I know my Word 365 document is automatically saving in the AutoSave function. But when I go to Save to My Computer and Desktop/OnDrive, and I look for it on the Desktop it is not there. Likewise when I try to copy that document to a flash drive it cannot be found on the Desktop. I have an iMacOS Big Sur, v 11.5.2. Help.And thanks

Is there a technique in Word (or maybe another program) where you can click on an arrow to expand items? I'm been working for organizations going through organizations or restructuring for 15 years so every couple years I get a new job title and more duties and have been the person who serves as the project manager for all the changes in addition to what I was originally hired for. I have such a long resume. Is there a way to make it a one pager by just listing my job titles at each company and then when I put the text project manager, the recruiters can click on the title and it can expand to show all the projects I've managed if they want to see all the details? Each job can be 1 - 2 pages itself and I've had multiple roles at each company that gets updated each year.
Hi, I'm retired now but have used Word and Excel for 20 years before retiring. Office I don't quite understand. I can open a document saved from the cloud,, but One Note keeps butting in. I can't edit the document. My question is how to use Office or 365 but the videos don't explain that

Great video Kevin. I have Word 2019 on my Mac laptop. The Editing box with find/replace/edit and the voice/dictate link do not show up on my ribbon in the Home tab/pivot. Is there a reason for this? Is there a way to get this to show up?

I have a yearly subscription to Microsoft Office for use of Word Document to build my resume... Do you have a video that starts off with very basic information on how to use Word like a typewriter... Tab, line spacing, page borders, bullets, bullets spacing. Font size and style... I kind of know these things but it would be nice in a video.

3 minits in and i see that you havn't opened the desktop app. Your ribbon is completely diffrent. And No, you cant just choose alternate headings as you say, unless your tutorial is about a personal document, which is useless when uploading anywhere, as formatting guides wont accept just anything you choose. Your books must be just as hard to read as you are not clear. I need full volume to hear you, and you have a ton of these videos. I think microsoft is diffrent in each country as i cant find my screen on any tutorial.

Have some issues using my delayed email..hope u can help as I reached out 3x to Microsoft help and they couldn't. I have office 365 and when I set the delay email for time and date as the next day it just sits there the next day in my outbox and I have to manually try to send it. Even here it changes and I still cannot send it

Hi There I need help with Mail merge for labels in word, my Problem is with files from excell with zip codes that start with a Zero, excell removes the zero from 08046 after I change the to text which keeps the zero, but it will not open in word mail merge. How do I convert my mailing list to text file from CSV out of excell, and open it in word mail merge and print addresses with zero?

Won't let me use word online unless I sign up for 365? why is this? I'm using chromebook but was lead to understand that I could still use word etc. online for free but with less features than premium subscription. I'd appreciate any help please.

Do you have a video that shows how to edit or format the table of contents in the template for writing a manuscript? I downloaded the template from KDP's list of Microsoft Word templates. I have most of the book in place but am stuck with editing the table of contents. When I go to references and click table of contents, I dont see the one that is featured in the template coming up.

However, it did not address my problem. While working on a big word file, I retrieved my keyboard from across the desk and I must’ve hit something because every time I try to type something it is underlined and The font color is red. I cannot get it to stop. If I type anything it’s in red. I’ve gone to every place on Word and selected black as the automatic color, but it continues to type in red and underlined. I do not know what to do.

Please just do yourself a favour and avoid Microsoft Word at all costs. Use Google Docs for free if you want the all same features as Word and 10 times more. And if you don't need all those features, just user DropBox paper. Microsoft Word is an awful cancer that needs to die

You are good to 《show off》really fast your skills....but 《really bad》at teaching Word for beginners. You speak too fast, move too fast, and move from one place to the other too fast....at least for me. I will refer to other teachers on line...but not you.

I dont understand why after editing a document, it creates a new version.of the document. So yesterday everytime I.opened the same document to make changes it created a version 1, 2, 3, etc. Why not replace the original document and keep the same name? Is that because I don't have a hard drive. Or is it a setting?
