This is a really great song. Makes me feel like I’m that 10 year old who loved this song immediately while listening to it in the car or at the public pool. Love it! ❤
Takes me back to my first winter away at boarding school as a 12-year-old,walking through the rain and slush on the dank green roads trying to find something to amuse me and pass the out-of-school hours. All the music helped me through.
Two 10CC members, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, formed a duo called Godley & Creme and had a worldwide hit in 1985 called "Cry" complete with an astonishing and innovative video.
They also directed a lot of video's for other bands like "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock, "Relax" by Frankie goes to Hollywood, "Girls on film" for Duran Duran, "Every Breath you take" by The Police and "Hip to be square" by Huey Lewis and the News
I agree. I think they've already done that one. Would be great if there was a catalog of all their listens so we could enjoy them, not repeat ourselves, and provide more. Probably asking for too much.
My favorite 10cc song is "Lazy Ways" off their How Dare You! album. I always recommend it when someone reacts to them, but so far I haven't seen it anywhere. The song is kind of quirky and I think Jay and Amber would love it.
Feel The Benefit, One Night In Paris, Baron Somedi, Worst Band In The World, Somewhere In Hollywood, The Hospital Song, Oh Effendi, Don't Hang Up, Oh Donna, Good Morning Judge, You've Got A Cold, Clockwork Creep, I'm Mandy...Fly Me... So many GREAT songs there for a deep dive. I could go on and on...
Grew up in a small town. My dad had a work bench in the basement and he was always fixing somebody's toaster or radio or something for them and he never charged anyone for the service. This song would play at least once a day on the radio that sat on his work bench as he worked. Fond memories. Thank you guys for this and all the great videos.
Brings back memories of my childhood. When this song came out in '76 the country was celebrating our bicentennial, many parties and just an overall good patriotic feeling. Everybody seemed much happier back then. Even though I think that year my Dad was laid off from work from a coal miner strike in NEPA and we were on food stamps, and got the good 'ole blocks of cheese ...it was still a great childhood.
10cc are a great English rock band from the 70's. This group was super talented as every member was a multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer & producer. "I'm Not In Love" was their biggest hit in 1975 but they had other songs such as "The Things We Do For Love", "Rubber Bullets", "The Dean & I", "The Wall Street Shuffle", "Silly Love", "Life Is A Minestrone", "Art For Art's Sake", "I'm Mandy, Fly Me" etc.
All right my babies.... This song was such a sing-along, my sister and I would skip down the sidewalk singing "Like walking in the rain and the snow" part. Very cool reaction ‼️💯🔥😊
Happy Thursday evening!! Great easy listening song. We used to call it a.m. gold. Great video as always!! Look at you girl letting your hair down. Looks good on you!! Keep up the great work y'all!! 🙏❤️🙏
This song really grabs me. I love the chord change coming out of the "oooh you make me love you..." part and then another great chord change after "...and you're feelin like a part of you is dying." They also shift from a dreamy kind of sound with the organ to a drier sound emphasizing the guitars. You didn't hear many songs like that on the radio when it came out.

Oh I have not heard or thought about this song for decades! Nostalgia hit me hard.
Music of the 70's was so amazing . If you want to see a later version of the singers of 10CC, check out the video of "Cry" by Godley and Creme.
Bassist Graham Gouldman had success before 10CC. He wrote a bittersweet song called "Pamela Pamela" that was a 1967 hit for Wayne Fontana.
10cc was basically a group created out of 2 writing teams, Stewart and Gouldman along with Godley and Creme.
Such a great song. Amber, love the hat look.
Imagine listening to this on the classroom radio in the art studio. He liked to play the radio. Art teacher hippy.
This was released when I was 25 and hearing it again I’ve gone back in time 45 years. Loved 10cc. “I’m not in love” is very worth looking into please 🙏
This came out when I was in school in Northern Minnesota. Literally walking through the rain & the snow….. 🎶 😅
Remember this from my teenage years and still remember every word it got a lot of radio play.
This was on radio all the time on the 6th grade school bus back in 77.
I loved this song back in the day, even as a 10 year old. This song is tied to some good memories.
I also love this song for its simplicity and great harmonies. I know you'll love "Art for Arts Sake". ❣
Members from my hometown of Prestwich, Greater Manchester in England and Graham Gouldman from Broughton in Salford just down the road. Just another in the very long list of great Manchester bands.
..."Class of 76"...Another Radio Hit!
LOL this is my 7th grade roller rink music circa 1982. Holding hands and skating together 😂
Awesome choice Jay and Amber. One of my favorite yacht music tunes. Another you should react to is We Just Disagree by Dave Mason.
Great suggestion 🥰
10cc great group
A personal favorite of mine! Love the harmonies at the beginning.
Hey guys, yes, you guessed it, another song that was played inside CVS. It was on their playlist for quite a while. Heard this one a lot. Good song. "Good Morning Judge" would be another to do.
McCartneyesque melody and also some vocal influence as well. Eric Stewart was a big Beatles fan and later worked on a couple of McCartney’s solo albums.
Their earlier incarnation was a band called Hot Legs who had a big hit with Neanderthal Man - That has a great rhythmic vibe and an excellent video - worth checking out!!
This brings back some really wonderful memories. Thanks for reacting to this song!
Wow i havent heard this song since i was 13 or 14. Great one 😊
Listening back to 10CC - And I was High School when "I'm Not in Love" came out. But listening back to this track reminds me of Queen and ELO mash up
"Ooh you made me love you
Ooh you've got a way
Ooh you had me crawling up the wall"
