    I'm a dark skin latina my skin tone is lil darker than her skin tone. I'm in my 4th week with this device I've notice the hair on my legs and arms are taking long to grow but I haven't seen any difference on my armpits and bikini area

      Thank you for this comment! Do you have any updates? I purchased it today and just hope it will work on my skin tone (I'm mixed but pretty light skin)

    I'm so surprised that this worked with your skin tone and didn't cause burns or hyperpigmentation. I'm over here watching every video possible because I'm Latina and I'm not super dark, but not light either and I'm terrified by some of these horror stories of burns and hyperpigmentation 😩 I bought the smoothskin ipl device and just waiting for it to arrive but I'm honestly so scared haha

      Update, I did a test patch and had no negative skin side effects so I did a full session and 48 hours later I'm good with no burns or hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. 😊😊

      @@mamacass7967 Hi, I want to buy this and I don't know if it is really effective and worth the price, do you really see results? Is the hair really gone?

    • @mamacass7967
      @mamacass7967 Год назад +4

      @Romi Erez I didn't buy this brand, I bought smooth skin brand but yes it's effective. I've done maybe 4ish sessions and I honestly forget to use it and am not super consistent with it and if I had to estimate, my hair is like 60-70% less already and the hair that is still there grows suuuuper slow and a lot of if is lighter and finer than it was originally. Most of the hair left behind is definitely spots I missed because I usually find a patch in a straight line lol

      @@mamacass7967 thank you so much for your answer ❤️Can you tell me the name of the device you used and which model to buy it?

    • @mamacass7967
      @mamacass7967 Год назад

      @Romi Erez sure, it's the smooth skin pure fit with the precision head attachment. They have a cheaper version called the barefoot plus that also comes with a precision head and honestly I'd probably get that one if I could go back because I feel like it's the same thing haha. It also has a 90 day guarantee so if it doesn't work for you, you can return it :)

    In my country, 1 session of both legs in the salon costs at least 300 EUR. And you need at least 6-8 sessions and repeat them annually. I have spent a few thousands over 3 years. So I am now going to buy this device for sure. Thank you for the review!

    Girls.. you are not supposed to use it like this. You need the light in EVERY SINGLE place. She is doing it so wrong and so fast. Also don't forget: use sugar for peeling and after it, use the venus razor it has, it's perfect and doesn't irritate your skin

    • @sabrinaspinelli2519
      @sabrinaspinelli2519 2 года назад +16

      Agree, it's a very useless review.
      1) make sure you shave and that the area is clean and free of any lotions and cosmetics. This will keep the heads clean and will prevent burnt hair smell.
      2) it is NOT for all skin types. It works best with light skin and dark hair. It may not work on blonde, red and grey hair. And it should not be used if you have very dark skin or if you have tanned naturally and artificially.
      3) it doesn't have an ON/OFF button, so you need to unplug if you want to take breaks.
      4) and yes, she is moving it too fast. You want to make sure that every time it lights up you are covering a new area without skipping any.

      The manual actually does say you have the option of gliding it on your legs like she does. Stop hating before reading the manual. Sure, it is more effective to do the stamping method but I prefer gliding it on my legs and just go over it a few times... still feels faster than stamping on larger areas like the legs.

    Is this really worth the $300+? Was thinking of using this for my Brazilian area, but had pretty much no results with one of those cheap $100 IPL devices on Amazon. Happy to spend $300 but am hesitant because of my bad experience last time. I have fairly light skin and very dark hair, so I'm hoping there is an IPL device out there that would work.

    So like I just got mine and wasn't sure what attachment to use for what except someone said the wide one for legs. I left the original one on than switched to precision but only did face cheeks lips and underarms and bikini area. I don't think I did it right it flashed red after each push. We'll try legs another tomorrow. I had it on the lowest setting and pushed the button than saw red light. I guess I did it right. It said to do a test patch and wait 24 hours but I didn't. So now that I did my underarms do I not shave again for a week and wait until right before I am doing my next weekly treatment? I need to watch more videos.
