Thank you for this review. Can I ask if you noticed any damage on the head of the device on the shiny surface? Is there a need to get an extra head? When you buy them separately, the price is ridiculous.

Hi. Yes,use an eyebrow trimmer or a face razor and shave before IPL and apply ice and aloe Vera gel or a non irritant moisturizer after taking IPL , I use Cera ve moisturizer sunscreen on a daily basis.
I agree about professional laset treatments. It's costly and not permanent. I also feel like it caused me to have hair grow more in the areas of treatment. I'm not sure if this device will do the same but it sounds like that's not the case. How do you handle treatments in the summer months? Do you just stay out of the sun completely all the time or just day of the treatment? I know to use sunscreen. So far I'm just testing it out on my underarms to see how my skin reacts. Irs only been 2 treatments so I can't say much yet.
Hi, I usually take the treatment in the night and that ways no sun exposure for 12hours. Mornings I always wear sunscreen, even when I’m in the house and not stepping out. Unlike professional laser treatment, this hasn’t resulted in extra hair growth anywhere.

I went for 10 professional sessions on my upper lip and it made the hair decrease alot. Its been 7 years since my last treatment and i get alittle bit of hairs still but theyre much lighter than they originally were. I was going to go for a maintenance session but decided to buy this braun instead.

Yes , I use eyebrow trimmer to trim only small region of hair and use IPL only there.

I was wondering the same thing. I bought my device a few weeks ago. I've only been using it under my arms, 2 treatments so far. I wanted to a test run before using it on my face. But now that summer is approaching and I'm outside more often, I'm wondering if it's ok to use or wait until the fall.
My armpit hairs were basically nonexistent after the 3rd session. Ive done 5 sessions so far on my whole body (even downstairs) and see a major decrease in hair.

Hi , Apply ice followed by very gentle moisturizer or aloe Vera gel to sooth the skin and then sunscreen during the day , I prefer to do it in the night so that sun exposure immediately is minimized.

Hi Hirra , no ! Just ate healthy, did some exercise (walking and gardening) and maintained a good sleep cycle.

Do we need to wear protective glasses while using this device ??
The IPL does not come with glasses, but I bought some on Temu (for what it's worth) because I find the light very strong and did not personally felt safe doing my entier legs while watching the light. If professionals use glasses, I'm doing the same :)

Yes, you need to apply Sunscreen religiously and avoid any kind of actives pre and post its use.
Try to avoid direct sunlight right after the treatment, so it’s better to do it in the night , if not apply lot of sunscreen 30mins after the treatment.

Which intensity u use for better results
Hi, it doesn’t matter which level of intensity you take it in. It’s worked for me with any of the three intensities , it hardly makes a difference.

Hi Rasagna, I don’t use anything on the eye, I don’t take it super close to my eye area, no side effects. You can use googles and do it too.

Hi, so I am suffering from pcos since so long and I am having the same issue that you are having with the hair and the my main concern with the hair reduction is I have taken one sitting with one of my local dermatologist and she literally burn my lips and chin area so I am really afraid about laser hair, reduction therapy and treatments. So first I really wanted to know that does this really really really work the thick hair because my chin and upper very hard thick like man’s hair and like they grow in just two days and it’s literally bothering me a lot so and for investing in this such like Big, costly device is also a deal because I am really scared so I really want to know that this is really work on the pcos hair and also the reduction in the skin darkness because my skin has literally become dark in the area which I have much thick hair so my upper lip is very Dark so yes I would really appreciate if you respond me and yeah thank you so much for your great wonderful videos.
Hi Rashmi , so I had very thick hair just like men when I started and it’s not like that anymore, it’s thin barely visible hair. To answer your other question, this works on the same principle as laser so even here you feel the pinch and you can smell the hair burn but it doesn’t hurt as bad as laser done by professionals. Pros for me is you can do it at your time , from the comfort of your home and can do it weekly once and start reducing the frequency as you start seeing a difference. @@Shazgul444 no I never . I know basic guidelines as I had ipl professionally done for my upper lips so I thought let’s do side buns myself at home . But I’m disappointed. This machine might be good for maintenance on face but not at starter . Just my own opinion
