Hi guys , sorry for keeping such long gaps between uploading videos, I have new interesting content coming up from
now on.
I believe all IPL devices work in similar way so this review will hold good for any other device as well.
The product I’m using is Braun silk expert pro 5

Thank you for your honest advices. Women with PCOS can relate with everything you're talking about.
Thank you Sindhu for your wonderful review!! Just so you know please don't pluck the hairs using tweezer or epilator when using the IPL, shave the hair before use, so the roots are still there. . The IPL targets the root of the hair, so if you remove the root you won't get the benefit on those hairs you pulled out. I am excited to get this device! You are so pretty by the way! 🤗
Can we use trimmer? I have an epilator and I was wondering if I can use its trimmer b4 laser
@@komalzia6566 as long as the root of the hair is still there for the IPL to target :)
Yes you can use trimmer@@komalzia6566
For all those wondering if this works on dark skin tone, my shade is NC43 and it works fine for me. I have tried it on my legs so far. It also works well on my knee which is much darker than the rest of my feet. I just need to adjust the placement and use the smaller head for knees.
I bought it but the sensor won't detect my upper lip area. It shows red. My skin tone is wheatish. I don't have much hyperpigmentation around my mouth area but still it won't detect. I'm sad
@@antaragarai2208 Have you tried at low setting? I use the lowest one and it has worked fine on even dark parts. But I do need to try at least 5-6 positions before it detects.
@@antaragarai2208is this work for you?
This is the comment I really needed 🙏🏾 thank you.
Hi Sindhu. Thank you for this genuine review. I too suffer from facial hair and that especially under my chin have exhausted me of energy and finances. Need not mention a much lower self esteem. I wanted to know your days as a newly married woman and with facial hair. How did you manage it? How did you let your husband know ? What was his reaction to it? I am literally scared of even thinking of standing beside anyone, leave marrying someone. Would request you to please help me with your thoughts.
Hey Apurva . I’m so sorry to hear you are going through this as well. So, before I met my husband I was taking laser and I didn’t even know I had PCOS , I would always keep a clean face, use a tweezer early in the morning and once we grew old in this relationship ,he knew everything and he never commented anything wrong ever 😊
Hey I have thick dark facial hair and I use facial razor every second day…I have told my fiancé about this and he has seen my beard moustache through vc😂😂 there is nothing to hide… he knows everything about Pcod… so accept your self the way you are then only he will accept and love you😘 though he calls me mard😂 but I am going to try this technique
@@priyarai4739are u use this device
You must protect your eyes while using ipl, its extremely important. Wear special glasses.
No. No brand would ever offer a HOME IPL device which can cause damage to the eyes. It is not actual laser which is why glasses are not necessary
@@shxzi3889 yes it is oficially necessary for home devices.
Thanks, This video was quite helpful. Can u please make an update video on this as 2 months have already been past. Thanks 😇
Hello, I have similar issues. I know what pain you must be going through! When the hair keeps coming out every now and then. I also remember you speaking about threading isn't your thing as it's beyond your threshold.. my hair thickness has reduced due to threading.. plus the frequency at which they reappear has reduced. Also.. It's not always external I think oziva's" her balance" is helpful and yoga helps in balancing all the chakras I suppose.. these really help.. I hope I am not sounding too preachy. But just another girl who has been through it and know how it feels. I hope this helps.
I totally understand Yasasvini, I know yoga really helps 😊
Which yoga postures exactly, please mention. 🙏🏻
Hi Sindhu. Please give your another review on using this device is it effective or not because I want to buy this device
Thank you cyster❤️ we all in that thanks for helping us
I can relate to what you said about the consciousness part as i am dealing exactly with the same issue since my puberty...i underwent laser treatment too but of no use...

Thanks for the review. I had a question, can you use it on the eyebrow and nose area? I saw another video which said that the user manual says it is not recommended. Just wanted your feedback. Thanks.
Definitely not on the nose area , I wouldn’t recommend eyebrows too cause the rays aren’t safe near eyes
@@sindhuramub Thanks for the feedback.
Hi. This is the most relatable content on PCOS. Kudos to you!
I have a question.
There are two links in your description. Which option should i go ahead with?
One is in dollars and another is in Rupees!
Hi, thank you 😊
I stay in the US so I shared link for both India and the US , you can order either based on your location.

Hey! Please reply. I bought the device and got it today. I was very nervous to use it. Then i used it on my upper lip area after shaving but the sensor keeps showing red light and after multiple tries in some small part of upper lip it
detected. I have similar skin tone like you though chin has some hyperpigmentation from years of hair plucking. Can you say if it worked for you anywhere slightly darker?? Or is there any way i can make it work?
Try it on another area
How is it?
Do u have any change with using ipl?
I bought braun ipl after researching a lot. Hope it works out for me too
Hi,what are your reviews for this device?

hey, one question
I'm planning to make a purchase since I'm quite fed up with everyday plucking and shaving but the issue is I'm planning to go to the USA (this September). Should I make the purchase and continue it there by using a travel adapter?
Yes , watch my latest review of this product
Is there any burning issues with this divice?
To start treatments did you have to allow growth for 4 weeks and then shave prior to using the device like the spas doing laser hair removal tell you to do?
No
Which intensity u are using
Hi, so after using the laser for the first time, it says you have to use it once every week for at least 4 weeks...do I have to do so even if all the hair hasn't grown back?
I want to use it for my legs.
Hi yes , the hair roots would have come back so it’s essential you used it frequently in the initial days
Same case in my laser treatment, we can use it we can go for it ,what to apply before do it laser
Di can u please tell me is this IPL machine remove the hairs from root .like the black dots after shaving???
Yes Mansi
i’ve heard it can cause sagging skin? have you had any issues with that? TIA
Hi Bailey , no ! I haven’t faced skin sagging issues due to IPL.
How much should be the gap between each session ? I have heard at-least 2 weeks gap .
1 week for first 3 month and then when ever you feel hair hack
How is your experience with IPL as on today ? Please share your review

Do u hav to shave or remove hair before using this product?
Yes , I use an eyebrow trimmer to trim the hair first and then use IPL
Hello i wanna ask you something HELP !!So i have my wedding on January before that i wanna hava a good skin on my face but i am afraid to do again laser session’s . because 2 years ago when did the laser sessions in clinic and after the treatments (not all the time) some times i got marks on my face .it’s like burned patched so if did this again it will be the same or not?
( i have growth hair again 😢 i only do shaving )
This is ipl. You will not burn
May be your laser therapist does know not which setting is suitable for you . Thats y laser burns .. experienced person only can give best result without side effects
Same problem
Isn't that like dangerous for your eyes I used it once but it's so bright so I'm scared to use it again cuz I use it in my chin and upper lip and it's too bright
You can use a protective glass , I haven’t had any side effect from the light to my eye

Which is best for un wanted hair remove for permanent
I feel as of today , IPL does a great job ! Not permanent hair removal, unwanted facial hair reduction in people who have hormonal issues.
Can you please tell Cost of the device ..?
28,000 Indian rupees or 330 US dollars
I bought it and this is mu second week .. can you please tell me if the hair should fall after the usage?
Not all hair will fall , in second week it will definitely not fall on its own. During later weeks you will see a reduction in hair growth and hair follicles will be weak so it will start falling off on its own
@@sindhuramub is it necessary to shave before using ipl
@@hacksforyou507 yes , you need to burn the hair inside the skin, it detects and shoots , or else it will just burn the hair on top .

You should not use water or ice after it for 4 hours
I have been using for almost 3 years now, nothing has gone wrong. Ice calms the skin and closes the pores.

Is it too costly to purchase this device...!!!!!
It’s much cheaper than professional laser treatment but yes it’s expensive for sure. You will find IPL device from 15000rs onwards. I invested my own hard earned money on this device, anything to get rid of the stubborn facial hair.
@@sindhuramub thank u .....
Can you please put the product name and link in description

@@sindhuramub thanks for sharing, this seems costly :/ which epilator is best for facial hair?
I have one question.
Everyone say that if we have good lifestyle then pcod ill be reversed as a result hair growth also reduce. Is that true
Hi Kavya. Changes in lifestyle will make difference to your hormones ( which is the main reason for pcos) so having these hormones in check will help with symptoms like missed period, hair fall issues , also acne and to some extent facial hair growth too, the hair will not grow back sooner and thicker, I experienced this during my pregnancy, I didn’t have much hair growing on my chin.
@@sindhuramub thanks for responding
Hi Kavya, I also have PCOS but my periods were regular. After having low carb meals I see some relief in my body hair growth but I don't see much improvement in chin hair growth. I have read many articles saying if it is hereditary then it is hard to combat facial hair. But u can improve it or reduce it by adapting healthy low carb style. Some people say going dairy free helps. I have doubts about soy products too. I use epilator to remove chin hair. Hope it helps someone out there.......thank u Sindhu for posting such videos.
ahhh I agree with every word you said. thanks for sharing 🥹
