@@vaishnavikhare8596hi! I didn't no but my husband knew how bad I wanted to try and he surprised me with 10 sessions of professional laser hair removal! It was life changing honestly so worth it! From time to time I get a few hairs here or there but its not the same as how bad it was before not even close. Not as coarse and definitely do not grow back as fast. I got an IPL a Kenzi for cheap from fb market place but honestly I hardly use it but I feel it can aid with touch up a from time to time. Primarily though I credit the professional laser for the major difference thats been achieved. I started it in Feb 2023 and completed Sept 2023

Hi Preeti , I apply sunscreen everyday and still got tanned a little but thank god even my tanned skin is well within the skin tone of the device and it works.
I have same ipl I have pcos I am telling my experience allmost after one and half year it's good but I use it in every 10 days but after that all its make my life much easier I only use on my face

Hey, I’m not sure how IPL reacts to skin with hyperpigmentation, laser in some cases are also used to treat hyperpigmentation. But please check with a doctor before using.

Hi Nidhi . So I use the device twice in a month , say if I trim my facial hair and take the laser today , then after 4-5days I get some hair back, which I tweeze and then I don’t have hair for next two weeks at all. But I still take laser the 3rd week because currently I’m trying to keep the growth in check . Hope it reduces enough that I can go without taking for 2-3months,
Right now I can go without taking laser for a month but not taking laser for a full one month will encourage hair growth , so I’m taking bi weekly now.

Hi Nidhi, I do it similar way as Sindhu suggested. But, I have to use it once every week. So I shave my face and same day I use IPL, then on 2nd or 3 rd day after treatment I use epilator and then don't do anything until next week . I have too much hair growth but I do see some improvement. I was doing IPL two times a week before. If I have to go somewhere I shave that way follicle still remains there. Shaving is tough part for me emotionally. Concealer is my friend......lol. Thank u Sindhu for sharing ur experience. Hope it helps

Hi !! No , threading removes the hair from roots then there will be no hair to detect for the machine to shoot the light , trimming is the only option

Hi. I don’t know why laser didn’t work and IPL worked. May be the laser place I went to wasn’t giving the right treatment. Or IPL gives the right intensity of light to reduce my hair growth. It worked for me and I’m happy about it.

I’ve been using a similar device regularly for two years now and yet I honestly don’t really see a difference. It’s only increased and now I have to shave almost every day. I’m so tired of it. I only ever see good reviews for IPL machines saying it works and it practically gets rid of your hair within months and yet here I am 2 years in with it only getting worse 😭

@@geetanjalibansal2387 yeah from Amazon only. I tried it today once again it worked for upper lip area after some adjustment but not working for Chin area. I have some hyperpigmentation there from continuous hair plucking waxing etc. But it strangely worked on my folded knee which is darker than rest of my body. I'm thinking of contact Braun customer care service on Monday

Hello . This works on wheatish fair skin with black hair. Please refer to the skin chart on Braun’s website. It didn’t come with protective glass and cooling gel when I bought it and I use ice followed by a mild moisturizer, can also use aloe Vera gel. Hope this answers your questions.

Hi Alka, it will take time for the hair growth to slow down, until then will have to keep taking IPL every week and tweeze out the hair that grows , it must come out fairly easy. Have to deal with the black spots initially because hair is thick , later when hair becomes very thin they can’t be seen at all. Hope this helps

Hey, I could relate to you. I too had PCOD and was sick of facial hair. Luckily I switched to IPL and I feel myself again. It was traumatising to shave and I CAN NOT WAX my face.

Not working there for me too , may be because I end up tweezing the hair there most of the time before shooting IPL most of the time and it doesn’t detect any hair, you do the same ??
I shave it as soon as it grows .. i don't think that interrupts the process..what can be done

Shave using an eyebrow trimmer or face razor only in the places you have hair , mark if it’s confusing and then use IPL in that region

Hi Aashna, I’m not very sure how sensitive your skin is , consult a dermatologist once and then buy, this device doesn’t irritate my skin or give rashes , so I guess it’s safe.

My periods are on time when I eat well , sleep well and stay active and it gets spoilt the minute I become a little inactive and eat wrong . So I try to eat well and stay active , however I’m not disciplined to sleep at regular intervals. Working on that.

You can’t epilate , you need to shave ! I use an eyebrow trimmer.

Hi Kavya , no that means you are not aiming right , do you have the same IPL machine ? If it’s Braun silk expert pro 5 , then on the sides you see red light turn into white that’s when you should press the button to shoot light.
