@SmithaDepak Smitha, can you please share what level you used on your upper lip with the Ulike? I've only used the level one and I think I have more hair than before. I used level 3 in other areas and it worked, but not on my lip. I'm afraid to use above level one because even with my eyes closed and the glasses on, and my hand on top of the glasses over my closest eye, I still see the light flashes.
My wife asked this for christmas and I've been wonder what the hell it is, and found your really helpful videos, so I just ordered it with your code, thanks a ton for a great quality video!
I've been using this device for almost a year now and it is the best money I have ever spent. I wish I had this years ago. It's basically already paid for itself with how much money I've saved from not having to wax anymore.
@MandiKaye No, it starts working after a few uses but you need to continually use it. After a few months you only need to use it about once a month to maintain your results.
i got this for myself and they sent me an email after i purchased it, tells us to go over the area 2x each session, i havent seen mention of this anywhere Here is a quick Q&A to get you started: 1. How often should I use the device? It's recommended to use it every other day for the first 4 weeks and then once every two weeks or once a month from weeks 5-12. Make sure to pass over each area of the skin 2 times, and please remember consistency is key for the best results. 2. Before using it, what should I know? 1). Use a razor and foam to shave off the hair one day before treatment. This will help the light reach the hair follicles more effectively and reduce any discomfort during the treatment. 2). Avoid treatments on dark spots, open wounds, scars, moles, acne, tattoos, or any sensitive areas on your skin. 3. What is the proper way to use the device? 1). Keep the device plugged in and connected to a power device while using. 2). Make sure the treatment window is flat on the skin and completely covers the treatment area to ensure the skin detection light turns on. Then press the treatment button to activate a flash. 3). Hold down the treatment button to activate the AutoGlide Mode. 4. What type of things do I need to do for after-care? 1). We recommend applying body lotion or aloe vera gel to the skin(Avoid any skincare products that contain alcohol). 2). Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight after treatments.
Thank you!!! I've been looking for this info everywhere! I tried nood and they say go over the area 2-3 times per session but now I just bought ulike and there's no mention. So weird. But thanks again!
I've just ordered the ulike. I have considered other IPL devices but this with the discount is good value. I have quite dark hair on my face & arms. I tried the no-no which was not great & in my opinion just like shaving. I like the reduction of hair & will be happy with less. The maintenance program is really good too. Looking forward to getting my device & seeing the results.
Mam ,for the second round,do we need to focus on only those hair stubbles which are visible only ,or we need to do the entire face even those areas where hair has not grown ... please answer
definitely thorough video. although i never get excited about these hair removing devices b/c they dont have the technology(yet) to accommodate black melanated skin but enjoyed you reviewing it.
I recommend watching Dr. Alexis Stephens' channel here on RUclips, she's a board certified dermatologist who covers skincare for melanated skin and this includes laser hair removal methods!
I don't have this device, but another, similar one, also with cooling technology. I used it consistently for about a month, and definitely see results! I have only done my lower legs so far, but I can now go weeks without seeing regrowth, and the hair that is there is so fine that I can feel it a little, but not see it. I wish this technology had existed years ago, would have saved me so much shaving time, and also freed me from nicks and cuts!
I got my VEVOR IPL with cold therapy device yesterday. I put the dark glasses on that came with my device and I can’t see anything because they are so dark. How do you see what you’re doing?
Thank you for this tutorial! It’s answered so many questions I have already had! I look forward to the results! You are a great teacher! And after working in the hair industry this makes sense! I am assuming when you say to not use it too close to your eyes, you mean where the light is shown? Otherwise I guess I will find out when I use it other areas, where the results will appear and go from that to determine my decision? Can you elaborate?
I’m so tired of the debate about whether it’s pain free or not 😩 I’m getting one soon for my birthday and I just don’t get how there isn’t a real consensus about how it feels lol. Guess I’ll find out!
Absolutely not because there isn’t a point of doing so and I done laser they go over it once every 4 weeks so these companies have no idea what they are doing and messing up people
I was curious as well, and this is why it doesn’t work if you’re interested.. while IPL treatment is an easy, effective hair removal method for some, it unfortunately isn't suitable for darker tones of skin. This is because melanin pigments aren't just in our hair - they're also present in the skin, too. Darker skin contains more melanin than fair skin.
Lol 😂😂😂😂 use some common sense yar, sunscreen is supposed to protect u from sun 😂,, in night is there a sun in the sky 😂😂😂 lol it made me laugh so crazy 🤣
Not, not every day. There's a chart that's provided but in weeks 1-4 you treat 3 times per week, weeks 5-8 treat 2 times per week & finally weeks 9-12 treat 1-2 per month.
