I think I am going to love your channel. Your dialogue is direct, informative and in a speedy manner. No boring chit chat added about your personal life. I am a senior lady and your method is easy and I think it will help me. Thank You very much
This is crazy… I tried it today and it worked so well! It looked insane and lasted from around 8am this morning till now, 2am. Yes it‘s 18 hours! I used normal, non-waterproof drugstore mascara and I’m sure it would last even longer but I have to take it off now. 😂 Thank you for sharing this amazing method. ❤
I just start with the tops then do all and then push a little on the tops before they are dry, and then they are curled. Life is not fair. Still I will try to see if they get better if I add a little more mascara when the lashes have dried.
I’ve used a similar technique for years and it’s the best! I have stick straight lashes that can’t hold a curl with regular mascara, so I use my lash curlers and a lighter so I can control the heat better (though this does make the curler hot very quickly so be careful!) then apply a coat of waterproof mascara. The curl holds all day with no drooping! Though with waterproof mascara I’m always mindful to use a proper oil-based remover at the end of the day and I apply lash serum nightly to prevent any dryness to my lashes x Thank you Smitha for always showing us practical tips that are easy to follow and work brilliantly! X
Thank you so much for this video. I have very short lashes and I have tried everything under the sun to get longer curled lashes. Not only did this work, my lashes stayed like that all day and night!
Thank you! Tried and it worked! I highly recommend because as we become more “mature,” our lashes become thinner, shorter and will not hold the curl. 👏🏻🌹👏🏻
I have stick straight lashes - thanks for these tips. I played around back in the 80s as a teenager with applying mascara only to the the tips of lashes first and then going back once lashes dried with a bit more mascara. I will try the Physicians Mascara and the Sally H's curler. I love your channel!
This is awesome. Caught the video in time for applying my make up for today. It'll be interesting to see how this works on my very flat lashes. They always fall immediately after applying mascara 🥺.
Stunning! You always come up with these hacks and tips that blows me away literally😂 like seriously, you are the best Smitha! Thank you so much! My lashes don't stand up like this even if I used the eyelash curler and this is perfect! I will definitely try this! Thank you again!
This trick really works! I always used a dryer to warm up my eyelash curler to get that lift, but it wouldn't hold and my lashes would go straight in no time. Then I found your trick on how to apply the mascara and it lasted all day. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! I’m going to try this trick. I already warm my lash curler and do the whole lash as you have shown but usually when I would put the mascara on it would straighten out my lashes again. I’m definitely going to try the mascara on tips first.
I really like this technique! I'm fortunate that I have very long, curly lashes(which I inherited from my late father); however, the tips of my lashes are blonde, so they look a bit shorter than they really are. I've been debating falsies, but with this video, I think I can skip them! Thank you for this idea!
What a BEAUTY you are!!! Never in my 69 years has ANYONE showed me to heat the eyelash curler before using...Brilliant! Cannot wait until I do my makeup and go out next!!! Thank you SO MUCH, Sweetie!!! ❤
Oh my goodness this is amazing!! Thank you Smitha. My eyelashes sweep against my eyeglasses, and I’m constantly having to clean my glasses. Eyelash curlers not really helping and was reluctantly considering a lash lift. I’m def going to try your technique TODAY , it looks great!! Thank you so much. ☺️🌺
Thank you so much for this tip! I am 55 yrs old and always have had trouble w/my flat lashes I have struggled. I will be trying this tip and video it so I can show you how it works for me!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
If I do this technique the roots of my lashes will start to uncurl whilst waiting for the mascara to dry. Also the mascara from the tips of the lashes will weigh down on the roots if I don’t apply the mascara to the roots first.
Great technique I will try! Additionally, if you use waterproof mascara it will hold the curl all day without weighing it down. I was amazed by the difference when I finally gave it a try!
Smiths you are gorgeous and this tip worked SO WELL!! I also have those stick straight lashes that point downward and no technique has ever worked this well for me!! Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the three-step tip. Ahh.. I'm about to give up curling my eyelashes. Because no one, even at beauty shops, has curled mine. I'll give a try. Thank you!!!
Need to try asap...as so far only waterproof mascara was able to hold my curls...but I hate waterproof mascaras ....so fingers crossed it will work with your tips
Another trick to add to this is to swipe a tiny bit of petroleum jelly (AKA vaseline) on the rubber part of the curler. I just learned this trick from another YT video and it is a game changer!
I will implement this three-step process starting today. I really appreciate the effort you put into helping the rest of us it is truly made a difference in my life.
I am East Asian and my lashes ALWAYS go flat as soon as I put on mascara so I had just given up . Also , mascara transfers to the lower lid AND a few lashes always fall out eventually in the same day when I use a curler even when I’m careful to not pull when curling . It’s so infuriating. But I don’t like using false lashes and I don’t want to get a lash lift because I feel like they will eventually all fall out or cause them to grow in funny directions . But maybe I’ll try this technique in the video . Wish me luck !
Did anyone else imagine the look on the cashiers face when you go through with a lice comb and explain its for your eyelashes?! Brilliant idea! Wow do they ever look beatutiful 😊
It does look pretty - did you use waterproof mascara (which I can't do because it's too hard to remove from my very sensitive eyes). Can you provide info on how you are able to completely remove the liner and mascara at the end of the day - esp without getting the cleaner and makeup in my eyes? I would love those tips as well.

You are such a beauty! Thanks for this. As a 69 yr old woman with aging eyes this is helpful.

This is THE ONLY way my lashes will stay curled! I don’t know why more people don’t do this. Thank you!
I’ve been doing this for over 30 years. It is crazy that more people haven’t caught on earlier
I just start with the tops then do all and then push a little on the tops before they are dry, and then they are curled. Life is not fair.

Me, too. I forgot where I learned to do this but I do remember they said Asians (I'm half) often have flat or straight lashes. 😊
How do you keep them from crimping weird?@@Moonbunny55

thanks for this tip as I don't have a blow dryer

THIS WORKS! I am shocked. I have the worst eyelashes, and nothing ever worked. I am so excited.
Wow. That is amazing. No one ever showed me this technique before. I will try this. Thank you for sharing.

I think most people overall have straight lashes.
Wonderful technique! What a beautiful finish.
Thank you so much!
Omg... The before and after is magic. Can't wait to try this 🥰 Thanks Smitha you are a genius ✨
Warming up the lash curler....Game changer!
I stick my curler in my bra while I do my skincare. By the time I do my make up it’s nice and warm. No need for heat.
I have problematic lashes and this WORKED. You're amazing Smitha!!!
I'm curling my lashes from their roots to their tips for so long now, I just never used my heated curler until now, although I ordered it years ago xD
This is awesome. Caught the video in time for applying my make up for today. It'll be interesting to see how this works on my very flat lashes. They always fall immediately after applying mascara 🥺.

Oh my goodness… brilliant. My lashes are flat and plan to try your recommendation for the lash curler and application of mascara. Thank you. ❤
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 you're a genius! Exactly why I never curled my lashes. Problem fixed! 🙌🏼 Thank you, Smitha!!
What a BEAUTY you are!!! Never in my 69 years has ANYONE showed me to heat the eyelash curler before using...Brilliant! Cannot wait until I do my makeup and go out next!!! Thank you SO MUCH, Sweetie!!! ❤
There is a heated eyelash curler they sell… it has a battery which heats up the area where you curl your eyelashes try it
Oh my goodness this is amazing!!
I'm so glad!
Thanks for the tip Smitha! Even with an eyelash curler, my lashes stay flat. Will definitely be doing this from now on.
My lashes are so straight and blonde! So excited for this video
💓💓💓
Thank you so much .. my lashes are long yet they lay flat .. which is so unflattering to be honest .. definitely would try this ❤
same! And my tips are very blonde!! So it looks like I don't have any!
💓💓💓
Wow..Thanks for sharing..Cannot wait to try this.. Ive given up using mascara because they always fall flat.
Not a fan of eye lash curlers, but i still want to try out your tips when i apply mascara next!
Wow! What a great tip!!! I'm trying this today!!
Thank you 💓
You're such a clever girl, Smitha. I'll try this tomorrow 🇬🇧
Looks pretty . Cool and professional.
I love this technique. I do have a hard time while I do my lashes.
Thank you so much for this tip! I am 55 yrs old and always have had trouble w/my flat lashes I have struggled. I will be trying this tip and video it so I can show you how it works for me!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Can I just say your eyebrows are STUNNING
This is the best demo.... I actually finally know how to fix my lashes.
Thank you for this tip! Beautiful outcome!
Smitha, wonderful video! As a Cosmetologist please let everyone know to use a new and clean lice comb! Thanks for the video.
Yes 💯🫶
Great technique I will try! Additionally, if you use waterproof mascara it will hold the curl all day without weighing it down. I was amazed by the difference when I finally gave it a try!
Absolutely! But applying waterproof mascara, every day will wreck your lashes💓
I use water proof mascara everyday and my lashes are fine, just be gentle when removing, using a good cleansing balm helps 😀
I have been using lash curlers for 40 years. They are very good and i have longer lashes.
A dental flossing brush also separates lashes well. Sometimes I apply the mascara directly to the brush. No clumps. And precise application. Xxx
Smiths you are gorgeous and this tip worked SO WELL!! I also have those stick straight lashes that point downward and no technique has ever worked this well for me!! Thank you 🙏
What a clever idea to use a flea comb for your lashes
I thought she said lice comb, but flea comb sounds less cringey.
I admire the brows! Wowwy, super envy!
Aqua resist by Make-up Forever is my favorite too
Awesome tutorial as always, you look fabulous ❤
My lashes has never looked like that. Amazing
💓💓💓
Attaching just to the tips sounds like a great tip for sensitive eyes. Thank you
My lashes are naturally just like yours. I’m gonna try this.
💓💓💓
Thank you for the three-step tip. Ahh.. I'm about to give up curling my eyelashes. Because no one, even at beauty shops, has curled mine. I'll give a try. Thank you!!!
So that's why lash curlers haven't worked for me. Nicely done
I love this eyelash trick and it does work and lasts all day! Thank you for posting this.
Need to try asap...as so far only waterproof mascara was able to hold my curls...but I hate waterproof mascaras ....so fingers crossed it will work with your tips

Vaseline will melt your mascara and make it smear!

This sounds like the perfect solution. Will def try it. Thanks so much!
Thank you All the. I always had my lashes fall on me. It was so frustrating. I will try your method. Thanks again
Awesome technique! This will help my short, blonde lashes look much better❤
I'm so glad!
Great idea❤

😮❤ Tysm! I'm gonna try these steps bc my lashes are such haters, but i dont like falsies.😊
I use a lighter to heat the curler because I only use a rev air reverse blow dryer. It sounds scary but it works
The comb is a fantastic trick!! Thank you for helping tip.
I’ve been curling my lashes for 3 decades now otherwise, my lashes just are in my eyes. 👀
It is genius!! You give the best tips!
I need to buy a lash curler and comb ASAP. Your lashes look great.
Excellent tips. I never would of thought to use a license comb !
Love the way u roll your “rr” s on mascarra!! (Mascara)😁

Thanks Smitha ! This really worked on my 60 year old lashes ❤
This is great. What other mascaras do you recommend?
Thank you, Smitha! This seems so obvious in hindsight.
THANK YOU!!!!!🎉
I just use a bid lighter to heat it up. And I always test it with my fingers to make sure it’s cooled down enough before applying.
