A lot of dizziness gets worse from tension in the occipital neck muscles & cervical spine from being so anxious and stressed about not feeling normal. I tried occipital neck stretches for a week and it made my dizziness much better.

I'm 27 now and I've had this foggy strange sensation for 14 years now it just never goes away! It has made my life tough but I have hope one day I will figure out the issue. The worst part is seeing so many doctors and specialists and them all saying everything is fine it's just anxiety. I know I have anxiety but its stemming from something else. Good luck to anyone else going through this!

I'm 43 almost 44 and I've had dizziness since I was about 7or 8. I've also seen a lot of doctors and specialists with no clear cut answers. I pretty much just gave up after a while. Then my fiancé convinced me to start everything up again, so I went to see another neurologist in Iowa City. And she said she thinks I have pppd and after looking it up, it sounds exactly like what I have. I'm still getting another mri and doing a vng test and then I see a therapist. So hopefully I can get closer to that tiny light at the end of my tunnel.

It's not a scam Dr Mango has helped many people check out the reviews on Google. We were referred by someone who had pppd for 10 miserable years and after 12 sessions was cured. He does thorough testing to focus on what treatment you need, no other ENT or vestibular therapist does this, usually your just treated with generic PT and SSRI drugs. That's not enough. They also treat patients out of state and across most insurance even Medicare.

Carik Shawn I got my test at this facility today and Medi-Cal (California’s version of Medicaid, a government-funded health insurance program for low-income people) paid for it 100%. So insurance can be an option to pay for it, at least if you have a referral from your primary care doctor. Cannot tell if the treatment is effective because I haven’t started it.

Thank you, Mark. I've had two episodes that caused permanent hearing loss and permanent imbalance with no specific diagnosis, although my neurotologist was able to rule out all the "bad stuff."" "Something, probably a viral infection" (twice in a 3 year period?) has knocked out the neuro-paths from my feet, eyes, and ears to the balance center of my brain. I have the latest hearing technology and have been through balance therapy twice, but no technology as yet for balance. Please become an ambassador to VEDA to share your experience and encourage research. Meanwhile, I'll check out the website you recommend.

I tried everything but still bothers me quite often. Since I am a physician myself I decided to figure it out myself. What I found is this is a cervical spine problem. Unless you take the cause away this is never going to go away. And this also is going to compromise your memory.

@@AJ88874 my wife just went through the testing process with Dr Mango. It takes 4-5 hours. No other ENT or audiologist did more than a couple of tests. So the testing process with Dr Mango is extremely thorough and uses state of the art equipment he has 3 epley omniax chairs which in 2010 cost $250,000 and there's only a handful of institutions around the world that have those and he has many many sophisticated equipment for testing and treatment. Well know her results in a week. PPPD is usually diagnosed based on clinical presentation and exclusion of other vestibular types of vertigo. PPPD is not just in the brain, true some of the neural network that message the brain are not in sync, however Dr Mango finds the root cause whereas everyone else just goes with the standard generic treatments of VRT(PT), SSRI and CBT. Usually some patients see some improvement. We were referred to Dr Mango by someone who suffered badly for 10 years with PPPD and did all the usual stuff with many Dr's. After 12 sessions with Dr Mango she was completely cured.
