It was originally Dr Epley and his company, Vesticon Videonystagmography system Epley Omniax System But the company has gone missing!!!!! The phone number links to a known scam site! The places that have a still working machines are worried where to get parts and if their significant investment is going to be a waste of money, seems these machines are in real demand and there are not a lot of competitors that make these machines. And to make matters worse for the millions with this BPPV, a lot of doctors don't have the time to communicate with each other!!!! WHAT a shame, millions suffering from vertigo and the best diagnostic machine for the various types has gone out of business???? Does anyone have a list of existing locations? BTW BPPV can be a major life threat for those with serious neck injuries that also have BPPV, which was one of the reasons this machine was in such demand. And now, NOTHING??????? Mark,...YOU WANT TO INVEST IN THIS COMPANY???????

Hi Mark: I have the same problem for years. On top of that I have fatigue, brain fog, anxiety and depression. I went through all the test and imaging. Nothing conclusive. I tried everything but still bothers me quite often. Since I am a physician myself I decided to figure it out myself. What I found is this is a cervical spine problem. Unless you take the cause away this is never going to go away. And this also is going to compromise your memory.

Then my fiancé convinced me to start everything up again, so I went to see another neurologist in Iowa City. And she said she thinks I have pppd and after looking it up, it sounds exactly like what I have. I'm still getting another mri and doing a vng test and then I see a therapist. So hopefully I can get closer to that tiny light at the end of my tunnel.

The medical community has not done a good job and they seem to not have realized the differences between vertigo and dizziness and differentiate the two problems. Here is the difference: One of them is the whirling sensation while moving whereas the other is the whirling sensation WITHOUT moving such as while lying on bed. Until this is done, the dizziness/vertigo problems are hard to diagnose or effectively treat.

@@AJ88874 my wife just went through the testing process with Dr Mango. It takes 4-5 hours. No other ENT or audiologist did more than a couple of tests. So the testing process with Dr Mango is extremely thorough and uses state of the art equipment he has 3 epley omniax chairs which in 2010 cost $250,000 and there's only a handful of institutions around the world that have those and he has many many sophisticated equipment for testing and treatment. Well know her results in a week. PPPD is usually diagnosed based on clinical presentation and exclusion of other vestibular types of vertigo. PPPD is not just in the brain, true some of the neural network that message the brain are not in sync, however Dr Mango finds the root cause whereas everyone else just goes with the standard generic treatments of VRT(PT), SSRI and CBT. Usually some patients see some improvement. We were referred to Dr Mango by someone who suffered badly for 10 years with PPPD and did all the usual stuff with many Dr's. After 12 sessions with Dr Mango she was completely cured.
