Beautiful! Pro Tip from my mom: add conditioner to the length of your hair or any other part of the head that you don't want to get processed or over-processed.
You did a great job! For your next root touch up start with 2-3 inch away from the root. (lighter) Then 5-10 min in to process go in on the roots. The bodies temperature kicks up the heat with the lightner. (To avoid spotting) So you don’t have to go back to with the lighter. ☺️
🦄 just watched your “10 things I wish I knew before starting locs” and this video because I’ve been contemplating locking my hair lately and I am completely sold. I love just letting my hair be and be beautiful. Everyone that knows me knows I love easy styles that are pretty and healthy for my hair. When you explained everything your locs have done for you inside and out I started booking my appointment 💛 with all that being said lol Thank you for your inspiration 💛
First time I bleached my roots I was dealing with dark spots for sure. So, I started bleaching in sections (half of my head at a time). That way, I wouldn’t have to juggle the different processing times on my whole head. I think it’s faster that way too. If you under-process the first time, you know how much more you’ll need for the other half (and can touch up that half while you’re doing the next section). I recommend doing the back half first because the front is the money shot 😂
I don't have a unicorn emoji so I'll just say "unicorn" Your hair looks so good! I bleached my hair (professionally) a few years ago and I liked the color but I wasn't crazy about the extra maintenance. Thanks for sharing.
🦄 thank you for these videos. Just came thru to also say be careful Fam. Turns out those color charm toners are permanent dye. Permanent dye is right up there with relaxers for being linked with uterine cancer and fibroids. That information wasn’t widely available when you made this video so just sharing in case you or unicorn Fam don’t know.
I’m definitely trying this color on my locs 😍 I watch your video so many times to make sure I get the right products and to make sure I’m going through the right process to bleach my locs! I can’t wait to see how my locs will turn out! Thanks for the recommendation Indie! 😊
🦄🦄💕 You Literally inspired me to start my loc journey (i have blonde locs as well that are in desperate need of a color retouch lol) and I'm now 5 months in and loooving it! So, Thank you ☺️
I just started really following and MAD I haven’t came across your page sooner!!! I’ve always dyed my own hair but scared of the bleach. You gave me life!!! Thanks ma’am!! Congratulations on your engagement!❤️✌🏽🙏🏽
Kind of scared me at the end because we kind of look alike and I dyed my hair similar . Ate definitely was my inspiration to go ahead and lock my hair and I've always loved blonde
I thought the same thing and l was definitely wrong my hair was 8inches before I started with two strand twist and now I got a lil loc bob and I just love it.
🦄 I just completed my first retwists on newly installed two-strand twists (aka starter locks). I love your energy so much. The ginger oil has been steeping for nine days; it smells amaze-balls already. Thank you for sharing your authentic self with all of us. I love and appreciate you. 🌈
I just started my locs yesterday. Feel like I needed something new in my life. My mom is dying from pancreatic cancer and I’ve had so much on my mind. I love your videos please continue to do videos 💚
I just started my locs on the 4th because I was feeling the same kind of way. I needed a change. I'm so sorry about your mom. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling. 🙏🏾 for you and your family
Your hair looks amazing. I chopped mine off for the 6th time to enjoy the grow out then I plan to loc it up. I’m excited but learning how to be more patient. 🦄🦄🦄
Well unfortunately I don't have a unicorn emoji so here it is **UNICORN** Totally envy the macadamia nut products every time you use them, beautiful love and colour😊!! ❤❤
Wow u are so brave. The first few times of you doing this did you have someone who had knowledge of this process helping you? I had my hair bleached b4. It was after my big chop and I had it done professionally. It was really cute but I eventually cut it off after the season was over. I did either 4 spring or for fall. The hair wasn't damaged or anything but I felt that if I went over it again I with another color it would get damaged. It was definitely drier though. Good job it looks great. I'll just leave my natural color for now. If I change my mind in the future I'd definitely go to a professional.
Thanks love! And I’ve pretty much always colored my hair myself aside from like twice when some lady messed me up and I went to someone else to correct it lol that wasn’t my first time though. I’m just a DIY lover girllll 💃🏽😂
💛💛💛Great video-you wouldn't believe how much videos i have watched. I hope my hair comes out like yours-LOOOOOVE this color-this is the color i want🤞🏾🤞🏾
May be a silly question but when starting the locs for the first time with the two strand twist, did you use any locking product (like lock up by natural elegance) or was that more for the first retwist after starting altogether?
🦄 please keep making dreadlock videos, this was amazing. I still haven't managed to keep moisture in, without excess oil. Tried castor oil and it was the worst decision ever. Major breakouts on my face. idk if the weather affected it too. Do you change your routine when its summer compared to winter?
Did you add extensions and if so what type??? Your hair looks so nice this is the look I would like I’m going to loc myself for the first time in a couple weeks
I dyed my hair golden blonde I was going for the look you have but it’s brassy orange , Im going to tone with ash blonde then use a purple shampoo & conditioner . Is this right ?
I’m in the car rn and just told my mom can she dye my hair honey blond for my 13th b-day I still got 2 more years 😅 hopefully she let me, btw is this safe for ur hair bc my hair should be pretty much locd in 2 years.
Bleaching or coloring is never “safe” it’s about the products you use and the method as well as upkeep after you keep your hair as healthy as possible basically
Also just make sure you do a lot of research and know your hair well before dying or bleaching it my hair is currently burgundy but I used box dye so I didn’t bleach it beforehand but I already know how my hair is and what it needs
Hi. I am new to your channel, I can say that you inspire me to get my stater loc done, was thinking about getting them done for so long, but I still couldn’t decided what I really want. I got them now, hope my locs gonna turn pretty like yours. Could you please tell where you buy the lock up twisted cream,? i don’t wanna put gel to my hair for my fisrt retwist. I cannot find the cream anywhere. Thank you
Beautiful! Pro Tip from my mom: add conditioner to the length of your hair or any other part of the head that you don't want to get processed or over-processed.
I appreciate this! I will be doing this next touchup!
thanks for that tip i was wondering is there a way to avoid the hair you don't want to process.
that is really smart

Thanks mom!! ❤
This color looks so nice with your complexion 💕
Thank you love ❤️

It sure does and make me want to attempt this color one more time but on me I look dirty and washed out
