- Hey guys! I finally bleached my hair blonde and I’m still shook lol. If you didn’t know already I’ve been wanting honey blonde locs since I started my loc journey and I’m glad I finally did. In this video I tell you what products I used to bleach my hair and products I used to moisturize my locs. I also give you some helpful tips to keep in mind if you plan on bleaching your locs at home. Hope you guys enjoy!

😭😭😭😭😭 omg thank you you’re an angel I’ve been trying to dye my locs but my cousin gets the box set and leaves it in for 20-30 minutes she said cuz with locs only leave it in for not long so my locks don’t get ruined 🥺 my tips are blonde cuz my hair was bleached and dyed purple when I got locs . 2years ago now my hair is majority black and I’m tryna go red for a year but I can’t get my locs light enough 😫😫😫😫 now I know what to get and how long to leave it in 🥹🥹🥹🥹🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 thank you so much 😫😫😫🥰

I love it! But I was shook! Lol I am so afraid to bleach my hair. I thought once I loc’d up I’d want to color it, but I’m too nervous it’ll break right off. It looks really good on you! Can’t wait for your retwist video.
Thank you! I was nervous too but if you got a good moisture routine than you shouldn’t be too worried.
@@SanaAishah yea, but there’s times I don’t give my hair attention. I work 60-70 hours a week, so it’s really hard. I wear a stub cap to work, so my hair is always covered. I’ll moisturize my scalp daily before putting on my scrub cap, but I only moisturize my Loc’s when I’m off from work. But I do love her black, if I do decide to ever color it, it’ll only be a few Loc’s in the back (under cut area). I’ve always been in love with jet/blue black. I’ve been rocking that color for more than 30 yrs, lol.

Put a T18 with 10 vol on your roots
Is it best to wait a year ? Or can you do 6 months to bleach ?
Honestly, the sooner the better because it was very hard to get the bleach to penetrate through my locs since they had maturity.
Is your hair still healthy now? Ive been on the fence scared of damage but WANT/NEED some blond

Pretty sure it was close to 45 minutes to 60 minutes but definitely not longer than that
