Just found your channel. Thanks, very detailed!
I’m venturing into Gospel Plow. I used to play as a drunkard, so I gotta unlearn/relearn music memories. Thanks again

I'm a novice banjist and I'm enjoying your tutorials, but there's a song that got me into playing the instrument that I can't find any tabs, lessons or covers of. If you know it, can you do a video on it? I've emailed the band, but didn't get a response. The song is Buried them In Water by The Agonostic Mountain Gospel Choir, from thier album Fighting and Onions.
    Thanks.

I am a novice. I really like your version of this song, and I’ve got most of the song pretty well down, except for the 13th and 14th measure, I just can’t do that pull off on the fourth string, especially while holding down the second and the third strings.(I can actually do it, but it feels and sounds very clumsy.)
Do you have any suggestions, or an alternate fretting pattern? at this point, I’m looking at different versions, just so I can get through those two measures., But for the most part, I’m happy with your version! Thank you!

Hi Kathryn, it's always ok to simplify! That pulloff is just a bit of decoration, so you could absolutely skip it and it will sound fine. Instead, you could just fret the 4th string at the 3rd fret and play a quarter note on the first beat. Hope that helps!
