Thank you Becky for a clear & helpful explanation for each step. Watched the video a few times & ready to start sewing. Please do more of these Ith projects! ❤
I didn't have a book that fit the size of my 6x10 book cover, but it fits my ipad perfectly and i put my stylus in the pen holder and my charging cord in the flap on the right hand side. Thankyou Becky. Love your channel and your "Hi" always makes me smile.
This video is the ONLY reason I was able to complete this project without quitting. At one point had to turn my machine around so that it was facing the same direction as yours, lol. Thank you so much!!
I just join in Jan 2021. Yes.I had issues that I prayed about and got new phone. Now I use you tube to help me get close to who I was but better due toGod and help from listening and working on my quilt and other crafts. Thank you for being on the tube. I been wanting to purchase a cut and scan. I did then I happen to watch you and your discussion on how to use. Great job by your work. May God bless you and husband. I do live in Tx too
Thankyou so Much for responding to a old post . I did the math and figured it out . I measured the the front cover , then the whole book open added a extra half inch , changed the measurement in the tranform box. I have the Floriani program . Fit perfect.
Happy Sunday Mrs. Becky I forgot to compliment you on your channel. With decades of experience you never talk over the newbie learner's head. I dont know how you can always remember to NEVER LEAVE ANYONE BEHIND. I really enjoy your mind, organization and logic that you use, and you are teaching me how to teach, effectively. Are you a teacher of students in life? I have only been doing embroidery for 1 year and its alot to learn and very very therapeutic. Thank you for never leaving the newbiew behind, in all your videos, even your advance, you never forget us. Have a lovely week Mrs Becky
Thank you so much... I have a Bernina 790 plus but wished I would have bought a Brother but the dealership is too far away. I do have a a couple of Brother machines that I use for piecing. One in my quilting studio and one at the main house... I love them.. I am very new to embroidery so hoping I can do this... Thank you, you give me the push I needed to try this...
Becky, I think this is why we love you. Thanks for responding so quickly, while awaiting your response, JUJU did update the instructions on their site to include the pen pouch information. Again thanks for being you.
Thank you! I fell back in love with you after your video for all brands last week. I want a lumiair so bad. Not sure I will ever be able to afford one😢. I have the BL Elegante and she is getting up there in age. Thank you for explaining why you like the embrillance software which is what I use but need to purchase the digitizing portion. Again thank you Becky. I have the snc SDX230D.
I hope to win the giveaway! Haha. You’re just to cool for school Becky. You have made me want to quilt! I have the fabric for the liberty flag-have it vinegared (?) And ready to. Cut. I’m a scared! I can’t cut those strips straight. I’m gonna watch your cutting tutorial again!
Whew done today....thought you might be giddy with the amount of time I stopped and rewound the tut to make sure I was doing it properly...yippee I survived...thank you
I swear you are in my head because everytime I think I want to learn something, you do a video on it. Thank you so much. I have a new Stellaire which I graduated from a Brother SE425. Because of you I am not totally scared of my machine and excited to learn her and graduated from small simple projects to being so up to date and willing to try new things to learn. I love sewing and embroidery and your way of teaching (along with teaching me the computer and embrillance) is absolutely so wonderful. Thank you so much!
I love watching you. I own the Brother Dreamweaver (before the Luminaire, no internet connected capacity). Flash drive use I love my machine. I also have the Handi Quilter, Sweet 16. An older Bernina Serger also. A small Brother portable machine. I love them all.
So I watched this video on Saturday which inspired me to buy the design, its Monday morning bout 11:30 and I just completed my first cover, thank you, thank you, thank you! I printed the instructions, but the video is worth its weight in gold, I just paused and followed along with you...I even stopped in the middle of front cover and embroidered my daughters initial on the cover and went back and finished. THANK YOU sew much!
You inspired me, I purchased the pattern a while back, but never got my roundtuit! Found it and a bunch of fabric that I had not turned into face masks and made 4 this week, 3 with pen holder, 1 without. I can put it together in a snap! I just discovered that this cover is large enough to accommodate my large Bible and have room for a small pad of paper or notebook inside the flaps. Ding, Ding! Winner! Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful! Yes, these are great for Bible study too for notes and reflections. Now, you just brought to mind a thought...What if, before embroidery, I sewed a small pocket to the flap to hold slips of paper or cards? Hmmmm Because it's an ITH project, I'm sure I'd sew it on the wrong side a couple of times before I got it right. lol
I so needed this. I bought the design and then thought, too much work! Not now with your tutorial. This project rocks. And your teaching is excellent. I like when something doesn't go right you fixed it.
That is awesome! You're a lucky girl! It does so much more than I'm even aware of. Hope you are watching Terry Maffit and belong to her FB group - Just Stitching With The Brother Luminaire. Lots of great help there. Thanks for watching!
Becky you are a dream come true !! I so much enjoy watching your You Tube channel. I am newly retired and your channel is the first thing I watch with my cup of coffee in the morning. You explain everything so well and are very easy to understand. Keep up the great work as many of us can't wait to see your next video. Thank you so very much.
Thankyou Becky, for the great tutorial. I have made one so far and had the problem you warned about, catching the panels. Uggg but I overcame and love it. On to number 2....Your tutorial really helped.....
A great tutorial! I worked alongside you, pausing the video as I stitched. I just loved this project so much and it really helped to see how you did each step. Thank you!
Thank you so much Becky for this wonderful tutorial. My JuJu composition notebook cover turned out great using your tutorial. Couldn't have done it without You!!!
Hi Becky! Love seeing you in "action"! Not sure if the Luminaire has this feature as the Dream does, but, @17:03 when you stopped the machine, I would have HELD the Start/Stop button. This feature doesn't stop the machine rather, it stitches very slowly allowing you to hold the fabric while the machine is still running. I use that button/feature when I think it's going to be a close call! Beautiful covers! Love your fabric choices!
Becky, you continue to let your talent be known. Thank you so much. I was afraid of it but you coached me on. Now I need to make about 10 for a craft fair. Thanks so much
I just finished my first one thanks to you! I wouldn’t have tried it had I not watched your excellent tutorial. I kept pausing and going back as needed. Survived a broken needle and a few thread breaks but it looks great!Thank you so much!!
Thank you for this tutorial. I appreciate the step by step including the fixing of the batting edge. Good to know. I also will try that method of thread change. Thanks again for all your effort.
Great tutorial! I just followed along and it worked perfectly, just like you said! I now have a cover for the book I am going to log my breast cancer journey! Thank you, Becky!
Its Nov2021 and finally took upon this task and accomplished it with much success all thanks to this tutorial. I would like to thank you for taking the time to create this video. Although the written instructions and photos are detailed some of us come upon stumbling block. Tutorials like these take the stress and frustration away from a challenging project. Thank you and hope to more Juju design in the Hoop tutorials. The stuffed mermaid, dog, cat in the hoop would be nice.
What a great video. I've had a Brother embroidery machine for a number of years but haven't really done a lot of projects. I do like this and am going to.look.to.get the pattern and watch the surveillance video to see if I can master this thing!!!
I just bought this design and so glad you did a video on it! I also bought the E-reader design would love a video on that. Your videos are so great to watch!
Thank you for these amazing video's. I will follow all of your tutorials as you are very thorough and fun to watch. I want to make a lot of these book covers. The only thing I'll do next time is serge the lining fabric that's tucked inside. The fabric I used seems to fray easily. Oh well! live and learn....You make it so easy. I feel like a pro! Thank you again. Donna
Oh Becky, I can't thank you enough for this tutorial! I had been so hesitant to make these because there just just some parts of the instructions I could not understand. I found your tutorial and BAM!! made 2 today for gifts and I even added an embroidered monogram! Thank you, thank you!
Hi Becky I made my first composition cover today. I got the diagonal and feather design package. I will be adding a monogram to the feather design. Thank you for all your tutorials.
Love, love your video.... Apparently after two years some design changes have happened and released, I chose the larger cover (as I have a whole pile of them) and when the machine gets to the spine, the stitching order is altered, doing the satin stitch up the sides of the spine before attaching the pocket.
Your video is what got me through my first cover! You were thorough and clear. I am a very visual learner so having you on my computer next to my machine was invaluable! Thank you!
Hi Becky, I just ordered the notebook covers and the Embriliance Thumbnailer!! WOW this is awesome!! I'm new to embroidery and this helps so much. Thank you for this video I can come back again and again if I get lost. Happy Memorial Day!! thank you to you and your husband for your service!!
Loved your video. I made one with only the instructions and had difficulty, but after watching your video it was a breeze. Thank you for super instruction.
This was my first time watching you do an embroidery project and I was very pleased with your format and detailed information. Thank you 😊. You’re a great instructor.
Thank you Becky for a clear & helpful explanation for each step. Watched the video a few times & ready to start sewing. Please do more of these Ith projects! ❤
Finally got my first one done! Thanks for this video - I watched several times to complete. Now, I'm ready to do the other 3.
This video was AWESOME! I was nervous to start this project, but not anymore. Thanks for sharing with us.
I didn't have a book that fit the size of my 6x10 book cover, but it fits my ipad perfectly and i put my stylus in the pen holder and my charging cord in the flap on the right hand side. Thankyou Becky. Love your channel and your "Hi" always makes me smile.
Ordered this yesterday June 18, 2023 - Stitched out grand! Thanks for the visual tutorial - have a nice day!
This video is the ONLY reason I was able to complete this project without quitting. At one point had to turn my machine around so that it was facing the same direction as yours, lol. Thank you so much!!

Thank you. I think I would have been lost without your tutorial.
Thank you! I was very intimidated with the instructions but watching your video put me at ease. Your instructions are the best.
Thank you It was great to see how things stitched out no surprises.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thankyou so Much for responding to a old post . I did the math and figured it out . I measured the the front cover , then the whole book open added a extra half inch , changed the measurement in the tranform box. I have the Floriani program . Fit perfect.

I cut a 3 x 5 index card to size when I need a tiny ruler. It works well. You made that look easy. I may try it.
Smart! I'll keep that in mind when my tiny ruler decides to go into hiding. lol
Late to the notebook cover party, but THANK YOU for this video!

Super cute project. I've never attempted any sewn-in-the-hoop projects and this looks like a great one to start with.
So glad I've found your channel.
I would like to see how you did your fussy cutting for the Tula Pink one. She’s my favorite designer and I would love to make some with her fabric
What a clear and efficient tutorial! Thank you for doing it💕
I’m going to attempt my 1st cover! Your video tutorial was really helpful. Thank you!
I need to go to juju and get these designs. Great. video
