I learn new things and ideas from you every time! How on earth did I do this for seven years without you. Thank you, Sweet Girl. I sure miss Texas. Left Ft Worth three years ago for retirement in Florida. Come visit sometime.,❤💕
I have learned so much from you. I have a Husqvarna Epic 2 single needle, but your teaching style is so helpful that you videos are my go to when doing Kimberbell, and other embroidery designs. Your video of how to download designs to a thumb drive saved the day for me!
Thank you Becky for a great tutorial. The UK is in full lock down again and this project will save my sanity 🤣😂 I will make several bags to sell proceeds will go to Hearing Dogs for Deaf people. My son trains dogs for this charity in the UK. God bless 😘
My first weenie dog was named Sharpie. My husband is a Director of Operations for Newell Brands that make Sharpie markers I made this bag already. I call it my Americana weenie bag all in red white and blue Nice work so far.
Thank You Beckey for all your tips on this embroidery project that is now on my list to do. I was feeling guilty to watch the video and not moving LOL!☺
Loved the admonition to move around to exercise!! What an innovative way to do two things at the same time! Like Leah G says, "embroidercise"!!! Loved the tip about "touching up"!🥰
I have been wanting to make this bag, and now that I found your tutorial I feel confident to start. Thank you for making this great video! I appreciate you so much. thanks again!
I just enjoy your "go sew something" tutorials and your "say somethin'" videos! you are a blast! don't stop being you! I just ordered the design and will follow along with your tutorials!
Thankyou. I plan on getting my first embroidery machine in a couple of weeks it is going to be a Janome 550e I must admit I'm terrified and excited.I just hope I can learn. Watching from New Zealand
What a great tutorial! I love the way you include an occasional "oops" or machine malfunction and then show how to correct it. So many people simply edit this out of their video and miss a perfect teaching moment. I'm really excited to make this project. Thanks so much for the tutorial sew along. May you have a year of happiness and health in 2021!
As I've said before Becky you're a great teacher! I don't have an embroidery machine but I still enjoy watching. Such a cute dachshund. He is going to be adorable. Love your exercise routine. I'm going to have to do that later. See you next time.
Becky That panel behind you is adorable. Becky Thank you for the information about the needles. I have the Babylock Solaris and wasn't aware that the organ needles preformed better. Another reason I Love watching you teach embroidery. You are more detailed than anyone I've ever watched. 💗
Really cute. I have a Brother embroidery machine that is probably 15 years old, that I have used maybe 10 times tops. I'm considering trying it out again. I still have tons of thread, and stabilizer of all kinds. That little dachshund is so cute. I hope my machine still works. Thanks for this tutorial. You have motivated me to try machine embroidery again. Diane
Love your instructions for all your videos. I can't tell you how many times I see a project that I would like to try, but I have too many questions. You consistently give terrific, complete direction and supply lists. Thank you!
Thank you Becky! I got a Babylock Meridian for Christmas, and have been intimidated to say the least! This project, is a nice “gentle push” in the right direction, if you know what I mean! :)
Thank you for the tips and tricks. I haven't liked my thread stand much. Will give it another try. Also how you knot the threads so it is small enough to pass through.
I'm going to make this for my daughter in law as love their weenie dogs! Not going to start yet but I will be doing it later Have a couple of other things in the works right now Thank you for showing the close up of thread changing I needed that. Thank you also for being so detailed! Love that and showing mistakes and how to fix them!
Fabulous, thank you! I am still a beginner and I’m so glad you added loads of tips and tricks too. Thanks also for the mini workout 😂 can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode! Xx
I tie the threads on my 6-Needle when changing thread color, but I can thread my single faster the normal way. I have a heck of a time tying thread ends. Lol
Becky, I'm so glad I found you!! LOL I love watching your video's. You are a great teacher and so knowledgeable. Thank you for all your efforts and sharing. However, I've got a special request. (Yes I am pretty new to embroidery.) I would be so APPRECIATIVE if you would give a class on embroidering a buttonhole with designs already digitized. I have buttonhole designs and no clue how to even start!!!! I have scoured here to find just one episode on embroidering buttonholes .NOT ONE I CAN FIND! Becky I have seen a couple on how to go from sewing to embroidering a buttonhole. some how on your machine. I was lost. Tons on BY HAND buttonholes but not ONE WITH A DESIGN! Thank you for your time and I sure hope you will help me out. Again I just love ya to death. heheheee Keep making video's....
@@PowerToolsWithThread Becky I am wandering when you sleep!! LOL Thanks for getting back to me so FAST. I don't have a design finished to send you a picture of. Becky I bought a USB of designs from Ebay. On that USB their is buttonholes you can embroider instead of sewing the traditional way with a buttonhole foot. I want to learn how to embroider them instead of the old way of sewing them. Say it's a monogram for instance. I pick my letter and embroider it onto my project. I would embroider a buttonhole instead,,,, say onto my blouse! (If I had an idea on how to) LOL Becky your awesome. Thank you so much. I am sure lot's of us new embroiders would love to be able to figure out how to do buttonholes, place them etc with our embroidery machines. It's faster, cleaner looking and so creative with flowers etc being around your buttonhole on the blouse you just made. Anyways A SINCERE THANK YOU FOR EVEN CONSIDERING MY REQUEST. I am fortunate to be able to pick your brain and enjoy your videos!!!!!
Becky I have a question. I keep hearing I should use top stitch needles or embroidery needles, I guess due to their large holes. When I’ve purchased and used Organ needles, I don’t know how to differentiate. They come in ballpoint or not and of course 75/11, 80/12 or 90/14. How do you know if they’re top stitch, embroidery, etc.? Thank you. Hope I making sense.
Oh no! The download probably went to your Downloads folder. Highlight the folder by clicking on it once, then Right Click, and choose Extract All from the menu that comes up. You should be able to use the files once they are extracted. Here is a video that can help you to see how to extract the files and how to store them. ruclips.net/video/XOepwkCum8E/видео.html
Love your videos, I always learn so much. I bought this design and I am ready to start. Looks like fun. Question? My thread broke in the machine I know I am not suppose to pull from the top. How do I get it out?
If there is no other way, then very carefully pull it from the top. Try not to shred any of the thread. Then take dental floss and run it through the thread path to make sure there are no thread bits left behind. If you're brave, there should be a tiny hidden screw under a cap to remove the cover over the thread path that is separate from the large casing of the machine. Most manufacturers do this so technicians can get to the path easily.
Coowee Becky, glad to know I wasn't alone in loving and laughing at the Embroidercise. I bought the Urban Threads design. When are you going to show us how to make it the unpuckered way. Happy New Year to you and Keith. Love my combo seam ripper. Not only does it look fab but it works like a dream. (Shameless plug for Keith's hard work). You need to come visit me, as we are having High 30C to 40C this week. You can lay out back all you want, I want some cold, cold, cold please. hooroo till next time. Alda Perth West Aussie.
No dumb questions! Yes, the download from swpea.com comes with a PDF of instructions and all the data file sets for each machine type. Not really a pdf pattern though, just instructions.
She is an excellent teacher! I’m kinda happy the fabric for the muzzle curled over (well sorry, not sorry). I’m trying to cut down on birdnestercizing! 😂
I have a lot of beginner series videos on my channel. Check out the Trapunto Table Runner where I walk you through the process from taking it out of the box. Is there a way to modify the nose a bit, which would change him into a basset?
I really want to make this in a wall hanging! Do you think it would work??
Absolutely! I don't see why not. :)
Went to lorelie fabrics and could not find the panel behind you - please post a link for a challenged learner!!!
That panel is several years old and probably out of print now. But Loralie has another doggie print out now.
What caused your bobbin case to jump out and how did you fix it

Loved this tutorial! Thankyou, thankyou! I learned alot from you today.
What causes the bobbin to jump around? I have had this happen with my Solaris.
I wish I knew what causes this. I've texted my repair guy for a visit and I'll ask him.
Following. I have Brother and Babylock machines and would be interested to know as well. 😊
I bought the dog pattern but I can't open it. I usually download patterns and go through Acrobat reader. I am lost.

Curious what size are you making? rewatching but havent caught that in the video. 5x7 or 6x10?
never mind lol i think you just showed it 5x7
5x7

Why did you switch machines?
Technical issues with the bobbin.
Dumb question... the purchased pattern comes with a data file to copy to memory stick and a pdf pattern??
