Wow! I have been learning so much. Thank you! Bought my Baby lock in 2017. I've done just a couple projects to try it out. Now it is 2022. Due to your instructions, I feel more comfortable. Take care, Marion in Oregon
Thank you for showing embroidery on both types of machines. I'm lucky enough to have both a single needle and a multi needle embroidery machine. Thank you for the videos.
I don't have a multi-needle, nor do I plan to get one but, boy, I love to watch it stitch. So nice of you to show embroidering on both types of machines.
Thank you so much Becky for doing this on Spanky. It took me SO LONG to figure out the stops, I actually had to do it on paper first with the steps listed. I finally after a few attempts figured it out on the machine right away. I also noticed that you run yours at full speed, wow, you are brave, I still think if something happened I would not have time to react, so I run mine at 500. Takes longer but I do not know what I would do if a needle broke going full speed. I have had it happen once that I did not get the needle in tight enough when I changed the needle, and caught it immediately. My bad, will never happen again :( I will get one of those usb adaptors, looks like a wonderful item, I do not want to have my usb connect go bad. I also appreciate the hint about marking the stabilizer for which way to put it back in, never thought of that. You are wonderful Becky :)
Thanks for such a thorough video. It’s an amazing machine, but it cured me of any ‘multi-needle machine envy’ I had. I now know that for my usage, my single needle machine is all I need. (Although, I’m sure I’ll feel differently when I stitch a design with 20 color changes!)
I agree. They are not for everyone for sure. I like the single needle for ITH projects and the multi for scads of thread changes. They each have their purpose. Thanks for watching!
Oh Becky! After watching your first video and this one, I just had to go buy this pattern. While there sweet pea also has a cat pattern for the tote bag. I only have a single needle but cant wait to try it. So happy I have your videos to teach me.
Good thing you were standing there paying attention. You took the spool of thread off the top and placed it on the back of the 10 needle. I thought to myself you need to move that spool somewhere else.
Hey my name is Linda B from Tennessee. I have watching your RUclips for about a year and I learned so much about machine embroidery. I do have the seam ripper & pointer which all the time. I have been quilting for 8 years. I been sewing ever since my mom had me on her knee. I have her Sears Kenmore and still sewes OK. Keep up the good work. Thank you
Hello Ms. Becky I just order the seam reaper after seeing how easy it works lol! I sure could have use it on soo many occasions lol! Love ❤ all your videos HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊🎆
Can you tell us which do you find easier to do embroidery on? Single needle or mult-needle? I'm sorry that someone complained that you should us the two ways. I loved it!! I had not seen how a multi-needle actually works and very much appreciated.
To be honest, due to the near-industrial nature of the multi-needle, I find it to be much less temperamental than the single needle machines. Less to babysit, and less drama if that makes sense. But they both have their good points so I'm glad I have both.
I want your machine! I have the Brother SE600 and I love it but I am so GREEN! Like I didn’t know if the thread goes through embroidery foot or stays above it. These little stupid things I didn’t know and people don’t explain that because they assume everyone knows but I didn’t. I really want to see what that thing is you said you love and we need one. I think it’s called a press mat or something like that. I’m going to check out your links after I watch this. Thank you dear! Your the best!
Did anyone else do the 6x10 design? If so did you find that fabric B for piece#3 did not go down far enough on the neck? When facric C is stitched on, the seam from piece 3 is not covered.
You can hear in my voice, I flipped OUT! Crazy. I re-watched the uncut footage and saw where my mistake was by setting the loose spool on the machine arm. Never again! lol
I wondered why you didn't put the batting down. Lol. Your dachshund is so colorful. He is going to be adorable. I have a question not related to this that I keep forgetting to ask. Did you do a video on making the Dotty Sampler tree block? I saw the label you made for the quilt to be donated but didn't see the Tree block. See you next time.
No, I didn't make a video for that. I made two tree blocks (no problem) to send to Vickie to put into the quilt. Then I found out (because I misunderstood) that they wanted a video too. I had very little fabric left but I tried, and I tried, and I tried, and I just couldn't get the block to come out. It put me in tears on Christmas morning and we can't have that. So I emailed Vickie and apologized. Something told me to video the first two blocks but I ignored it. Ugh. I think Vickie will have it on the Creative Notions channel however.
@@PowerToolsWithThread Oh gosh no tears especially on Christmas morning. Now I feel bad that I asked 🥲 You do so much as it is! I’m so behind in those blocks...behind in a lot of things. Even being retired I don’t know where the day goes. Take care. Go sew something lol
I'm trying to make videos for both. The process to lay down the fist piece of colored fabric face up and fold over the rest of the pieces on placement lines is the same regardless of the machine type. You can do this!
I fully understand and can appreciate your sentiment. However the panels made in the multi-needle are the very same sewing process over and over as what was done in the single needle the first day. Tack down batting, trim batting, tack down fabric, and then stitch all the dog pieces on using the Quilt As You Go method of placing the first piece down right side up and then all the other pieces are folded over a placement line. Sorry you felt left out.

Becky, you look tired. I hope you and your hubby are well. Thanks for the video. God loves you and your family. God bless you all.
Thanks for the storage info. 💋
Even though I’ll never have a multi needle, I appreciate your showing projects can be done on both types of machines. Have a great day.

Thanks for tip on wrightinf front on front. I can see me messing that up royally.

Really enjoy your videos! Ty for being so easy to listen to and learn with ❤️
Great video.... Thanks so much
Thank you for doing it on the multi needle! I am learning mine, I need to figure out the camera functions, I think that will be a game changer for me
Thanks for the multi needle tutorial. I haven’t used my brother Pr655in quite sometime. I also bought a USB adapter too
Love it can’t wait for the next one xxx

Do you have a link for the USB doodad? But maybe I missed it. Thanks for including problems in your videos. It really helps me to not panic.

OH MY Gosh! I saw that thread spool and gasped as if I was the one stitching! Lol The weirdest stuff can happen!
You can hear in my voice, I flipped OUT! Crazy. I re-watched the uncut footage and saw where my mistake was by setting the loose spool on the machine arm. Never again! lol
Where did you get the bags?
It's a design from swpea.com

👏👏👏👏😘💐
I’ve been doing single needle 5 years and I find this change a little difficult.
I'm trying to make videos for both. The process to lay down the fist piece of colored fabric face up and fold over the rest of the pieces on placement lines is the same regardless of the machine type. You can do this!
Where to put the stops makes my brain hurt.... I just put stops on every step when it’s confusing like this one. 🤷♀️
I am very disappointed that you have not completed the project for those of us who only use a 1 needle machine which is where you started yesterday
