Wlaa talagang gamot jan sa male pattern baldness kasi heredity na yan, laki na ng nagastos ko jan siguro almost 40k na sa mga derma pero may mga nirereseta lang sila na ipapahid. Ang napansin ko lang sakin grabe ung dandruff ko na parang wax siya pag nababasa yun siguro ung pinaka main cause ng male pattern baldness. Sinasabi ko rin siya sa derma pero di nila masyado pinapansin pero sure ako fugae siya na need maalis sa scalp. Naaalis naman siya pero bumabalik rin, sayang gastos sa derma ang dapat talaga gawin matulog lang lagi ng maaga

Agree ako with the combined use of Minoxidil and Finasteride as prescribed by my Dermatologist as well. Consistency is the key talaga kasi when you stop for a long period of time, back to zero talaga.. so sayang. Right now, I'm using Minoxidil, Finasteride + Derma roller.. and it really helps. I tried PRP for 6-8 sessions ata, effective din pero mahal kasi talaga.. like 40-50k ung sakin. Another treatment is ung red/blue LED light therapy, I also tried that treatment, may nakita akong improvement pero mas mahal siya, and for me mas okay si PRP. But again, happy ako now sa Minoxidil, Finasteride and Derma roller treatment na ginagawa ko, mas malaki ung naging improvement as compared to PRP and Red/Blue LED Light.. but you really have to be consistent. ☺

@@HitchcockNScully Hello! Forgot the name na of the initial brand of finasteride na prescribed sakin. Pero I only took it for 30 days then I switched to TGP (The Generics Pharmcacy) brand of finasteride. Mas mura kasi and it's equally effective compared to the branded one.
I’ve been taking finasteride and topical minoxidil 1 week palang. to be honest noticeable yung pagkapal ng hair ko and pag tubo ng baby hairs, Mas okay tlga na to consult your dermatologist first before you proceed with medication. Mas better ung may guidance from them to avoid complications or worsening of your condition. Regarding sa 3rd side effect, hndi po sakin nangyayari hahaha

Actually may healthy way in order to overcome hairloss. Proper Diet, Proper Exercise, Proper Lifestyle kung mapuyat kang tao aba talagang matinding hairloss yan! 😅 But then again, kung nasa genes mo yan just learn to accept pero yung mga nabanggit ko kakapal ulit yang buhok mo specially kung lagi naaarawan yan mula 6am-7:30am healthy vitamins coming from the sun. Yang mga products na ginagamit nila makakatulong yan, lalo dun sa mga business owners 😂 Kasi may kasamang ingredients yan na kapag di kana nagamit mas gagrabe hairloss mo. Basta may Proper Exercise at Lifestyle ka, di mo poproblemahin yang hairloss.

Finally! I have been waiting for a local vlogger whom i can relate to. Although i have to admit i may need a second or third opinion from a different doctor as the dermatologist i went to the last told me bluntly that it’s a hopeless case for me and then pitched me to formulate a minoxidil and finasteride combo topical for 3500 php?! 😱 lalo ako nanlumo to have heard the price..hahaha
I started to notice my hair receding in my mid 30's from then i did some things to address it. First, i changed shampoo (Grafen), it significantly reduced my hair loss though it didn't happen overnight. It took about 4 weeks to really say it has a good effect on me. Second, i learned that too much stress made a big impact on my hair loss. So i decided to minimize my stress by reducing workload and taking things easy or one at a time. I haven't tried any medications yet as i am afraid of many side effects so for now I'll observe if these things will solve it. Nice video though very informative!

Hi Jan, great to see this video. I’m currently taking both minoxidil and finasteride. Would love to be able to contribute to this type of content kasi I think hindi sya masyado pinag uusapan unlike how we talk about skin care. Hope you could do more hair care content also. For those who are really interested to take finasteride, make sure again you consult a board certified dermatologist like what Jan has been saying kasi in some cases you need to undergo PSA test muna to make sure you are safe.
i take 1 mg finasteride 3 times a week only. and it works for me, i follow these two australian dermatologists here in youtube i forgot their names, but basically one of them is one of the derma who created minoxidil from the 90s, so they are really familiar and professional about this topic.
This is very informative! Susubukan ko muna yung red onion at black coffee remedy since madami din nagpatunay na effective. Lifetime commitment kasi tong si minox. But if di gumana minox is the last option 😅
2 years on fin, switched to Dutasteride.. Now in my 5th month on dut. Hair is back, full like a forest. I dont use minox.. effectivity fades after sometime in minox. My little soldier still salutes by the way 😅
@@allegrostore6779 it is effective. Iin two years, i got better head of hair and unnoticeable bald spots. It is amazing. It halted my shedding.. grew back some hairs but I needed a thicker hair (got greedy sorry) I am glad i switched. 😊

I experienced the same but different spot of my hair. I am using minoxidil for the past years but so I regularly. This year i am using it regularly for 2 months now. It is also first time i heard about the oral medicine fenasteride. I will try to visit dermatologist to check about it. Thank you it is so helpful
Thank God that I don't have a high hairline. I'm on my journey in making my hair long. Mostly of the product that works for me, biotin shampoo. For my eyebrows, I use minoxodil. Pero still consult your derma for an expert advice.

My partner is taking finasteride and topical minoxidil. We are expecting to see results after 6 months pa pero maganda result sa kanya. His bald spot is still there but it’s less noticeable.

Hi Jan, i have been using Minoxidil that I bought online for 7 months now. I went to a dermatologist last year coz i had severe hair loss and after a while nagkaroon ako ng "poklat" . Dermatologist mentioned something abt alopecia. She prescribed Minoxidil. After a month or 2, nakita ko n ang result. Kumapal n ang hair ko now and sinabayan ko ng Biotin na napansin ko n nawala ang hair loss . 😊
Naglagas nang sobra buhok ko dati and grabe rin dandruff ko, umaabot na sa kilay and pilik mata. Kaya nag online consult ako, 6% Minoxidil + tretinoin ang nireseta for my hairloss and I've been using it for 9 months na. It stopped my hairloss pero hindi nya naachieve yung expected kong results, which is yung tutubo ulit yung hair na nalagas.
Sabi ng derm ko sakin, wala talagang sure sa regrowth. Ang pinakacertain na is for men na naumipis yung hair sa crown area tapos nag-finasteride. Even for me not really regrowth yung sakin, more of new growth talaga siya, kumakapal yung ibang hair, but yung pagbabalik ng nalagas is never sure. But ang bright side for me is at least nagstop na hairloss kaysa more hair nawala.
Nag try ako ng Minoxidil and so far di naman sya nakaka irritate sa scalp ko 😁, ung finasteride ang gusto ko gamitin hahah kaso like said in the video na dapat may prescription. Thank you sa insights ❤❤❤
been taking finasteride for 5months (89pesos per tablet sa mercury), minoxidil yung regrow brand(5% 1100 pesos, 6% 1600) medyo mahal talaga. Kaya para makatipid i take half ng finasteride daily, yung regrow brand na minox sa gabi lang, then other cheap brand na minoxidil sa morning. as for the side effects, awa ng dyos tumitigas pa naman. Minoxidil is good kung maaagapan kaagad ung early signs of recession.. Been using minoxidil for 7 years, since napansin ko ung temple region receded quickly due to stress sa job. Un nga lang hindi ko na naibalik ung original hairline. 1 bottle is enough for 2 yeàrs sa akin para pang maintainance.

I think PRP ang latest solution sa hairloss/hairfall around 8k~15k php per session depende kung bago palang naglalagas isang sessin lang. Not sure sa details pero sana makagawa kayo vlog about it.

Male pattern baldness is not talked about in the PH when in fact 9/10 guys in their 30s, 40s above has problems with receeding hairline But it’s hard to find a woman who has a big problem with hairloss, mostly it’s just temporary hairloss due to stress, pregnancy, etc bihira ka makakalita ng babae na panot, puro lalaki But all discussion is about female hair loss
Topical Minoxidil talaga ang maintenance ko sa autoimmune-caused alopecia (alopecoa areata) ko. Pero sa totoo lang, importante na magkaroon ng consultation with your derma.

Hi Jan, hope you consider this when you interview a derma for your YT channel. Will finasteride affect the kidney? This is an oral medication and it will ofcourse go through our digestive system. Concerned on how this will affect other body organs esp the kidneys

Confirmed it stops hairloss, I've been on ot for a year plus. But now I'm thinking micro needling finasteride. I saw another YT video saying that PRP isnt really effective. But microneedling finasteride is. Lemme know what you think and the experiment we can do.

Currently using Serioxyl. So far na notice ko nagkaka volume talaga hair ko. May tumutubo baby hair which I noticed after 10 weeks. Nakakafrustrate din first few weeks kasi feel ko walang effect. But i think the result is not really comparable to minoxidil + finasteride or hair transplant. I'll consider those meds or procedures if na feel ko grabe ba yung hair fall.

Agree ako with the combined use of Minoxidil and Finasteride as prescribed by my Dermatologist as well. Consistency is the key talaga kasi when you stop for a long period of time, back to zero talaga.. so sayang. Right now, I'm using Minoxidil, Finasteride + Derma roller.. and it really helps.
I tried PRP for 6-8 sessions ata, effective din pero mahal kasi talaga.. like 40-50k ung sakin. Another treatment is ung red/blue LED light therapy, I also tried that treatment, may nakita akong improvement pero mas mahal siya, and for me mas okay si PRP. But again, happy ako now sa Minoxidil, Finasteride and Derma roller treatment na ginagawa ko, mas malaki ung naging improvement as compared to PRP and Red/Blue LED Light.. but you really have to be consistent. ☺

@@HitchcockNScully Hello! Forgot the name na of the initial brand of finasteride na prescribed sakin. Pero I only took it for 30 days then I switched to TGP (The Generics Pharmcacy) brand of finasteride. Mas mura kasi and it's equally effective compared to the branded one.

Finally! I have been waiting for a local vlogger whom i can relate to. Although i have to admit i may need a second or third opinion from a different doctor as the dermatologist i went to the last told me bluntly that it’s a hopeless case for me and then pitched me to formulate a minoxidil and finasteride combo topical for 3500 php?! 😱 lalo ako nanlumo to have heard the price..hahaha

I started to notice my hair receding in my mid 30's from then i did some things to address it. First, i changed shampoo (Grafen), it significantly reduced my hair loss though it didn't happen overnight. It took about 4 weeks to really say it has a good effect on me. Second, i learned that too much stress made a big impact on my hair loss. So i decided to minimize my stress by reducing workload and taking things easy or one at a time. I haven't tried any medications yet as i am afraid of many side effects so for now I'll observe if these things will solve it. Nice video though very informative!

Hi Jan, great to see this video. I’m currently taking both minoxidil and finasteride. Would love to be able to contribute to this type of content kasi I think hindi sya masyado pinag uusapan unlike how we talk about skin care. Hope you could do more hair care content also.
For those who are really interested to take finasteride, make sure again you consult a board certified dermatologist like what Jan has been saying kasi in some cases you need to undergo PSA test muna to make sure you are safe.

i take 1 mg finasteride 3 times a week only. and it works for me, i follow these two australian dermatologists here in youtube i forgot their names, but basically one of them is one of the derma who created minoxidil from the 90s, so they are really familiar and professional about this topic.

2 years on fin, switched to Dutasteride.. Now in my 5th month on dut. Hair is back, full like a forest. I dont use minox.. effectivity fades after sometime in minox.
My little soldier still salutes by the way 😅

@@allegrostore6779 it is effective. Iin two years, i got better head of hair and unnoticeable bald spots. It is amazing. It halted my shedding.. grew back some hairs but I needed a thicker hair (got greedy sorry)

I experienced the same but different spot of my hair. I am using minoxidil for the past years but so I regularly. This year i am using it regularly for 2 months now. It is also first time i heard about the oral medicine fenasteride. I will try to visit dermatologist to check about it. Thank you it is so helpful
Thank God that I don't have a high hairline. I'm on my journey in making my hair long. Mostly of the product that works for me, biotin shampoo. For my eyebrows, I use minoxodil.
Pero still consult your derma for an expert advice.

My partner is taking finasteride and topical minoxidil. We are expecting to see results after 6 months pa pero maganda result sa kanya. His bald spot is still there but it’s less noticeable.

Hi Jan, i have been using Minoxidil that I bought online for 7 months now. I went to a dermatologist last year coz i had severe hair loss and after a while nagkaroon ako ng "poklat" . Dermatologist mentioned something abt alopecia. She prescribed Minoxidil. After a month or 2, nakita ko n ang result. Kumapal n ang hair ko now and sinabayan ko ng Biotin na napansin ko n nawala ang hair loss . 😊
Anong minoxidil gamit niyo po?
Naglagas nang sobra buhok ko dati and grabe rin dandruff ko, umaabot na sa kilay and pilik mata. Kaya nag online consult ako, 6% Minoxidil + tretinoin ang nireseta for my hairloss and I've been using it for 9 months na. It stopped my hairloss pero hindi nya naachieve yung expected kong results, which is yung tutubo ulit yung hair na nalagas.
Sabi ng derm ko sakin, wala talagang sure sa regrowth. Ang pinakacertain na is for men na naumipis yung hair sa crown area tapos nag-finasteride. Even for me not really regrowth yung sakin, more of new growth talaga siya, kumakapal yung ibang hair, but yung pagbabalik ng nalagas is never sure. But ang bright side for me is at least nagstop na hairloss kaysa more hair nawala.
Nag try ako ng Minoxidil and so far di naman sya nakaka irritate sa scalp ko 😁, ung finasteride ang gusto ko gamitin hahah kaso like said in the video na dapat may prescription. Thank you sa insights ❤❤❤

been taking finasteride for 5months (89pesos per tablet sa mercury), minoxidil yung regrow brand(5% 1100 pesos, 6% 1600) medyo mahal talaga. Kaya para makatipid i take half ng finasteride daily, yung regrow brand na minox sa gabi lang, then other cheap brand na minoxidil sa morning. as for the side effects, awa ng dyos tumitigas pa naman. Thank you for this vlog, a big help talaga at alam ko na I'm on the right track in treating my hair loss. Nag try din ako ng collagen+biotin kaya lang dumami acne ko, kaya di ko na tinuloy.

Minoxidil is good kung maaagapan kaagad ung early signs of recession.. Been using minoxidil for 7 years, since napansin ko ung temple region receded quickly due to stress sa job. Un nga lang hindi ko na naibalik ung original hairline. 1 bottle is enough for 2 yeàrs sa akin para pang maintainance.

Hi Jan, hope you consider this when you interview a derma for your YT channel. Will finasteride affect the kidney? This is an oral medication and it will ofcourse go through our digestive system. Concerned on how this will affect other body organs esp the kidneys

Confirmed it stops hairloss, I've been on ot for a year plus. But now I'm thinking micro needling finasteride. I saw another YT video saying that PRP isnt really effective. But microneedling finasteride is. Lemme know what you think and the experiment we can do.

Currently using Serioxyl. So far na notice ko nagkaka volume talaga hair ko. May tumutubo baby hair which I noticed after 10 weeks. Nakakafrustrate din first few weeks kasi feel ko walang effect. But i think the result is not really comparable to minoxidil + finasteride or hair transplant. I'll consider those meds or procedures if na feel ko grabe ba yung hair fall.
