My hairloss has much improved since I am eating lots of Greek yoghurt (Fage). I defrost strawberries, put a bit of Stevia and this is a really good sweet treat. It is quite hard to eat the required amount of protein daily for your weight if you are not a big meat and fish eater.
You need to find a natural way to increase ATP synthesis. You need oxygen from outside to feed your lungs, sunshine for vitamin D, lower your gut ph by eating meat and other animal products to reverse leaky gut, drink plenty of spring water. Increase your red blood cells
I would not recommend Minoxidil in any form because the hair will grow but once you discontinue the medication the hair that grew will definitely fall out, and doctors aren’t gonna tell you that!
Yep, works on eyebrows too! I just dip a clean spoolie in the bottle, shake off a bit so it doesn’t drip, then gently apply with a scrubbing motion - don’t just wipe it on. Twice a day and brows again! (still turning white, but at least there’s something to dye😂)
Correct. My dermatologist said to ignore that. Companies try to play it safe, so they don't get sued. I go by my dermatologist as he's extremely knowledgeable.
Mine told me to use the men's extra strength, as well. I also use an Rx steroid ointment. I use both every other night. My hair loss is a mystery for now. It's probably perimenopausal in nature, but I also have Hashimoto's, although the latter is under control and previously gave me diffuse hair loss, not patchy loss around my hair line and in my brows. My brows were also very itchy when this all started in my late 40s, but that has subsided. I have less hair loss now, but most of it never really grew back aside from a good portion of my eyebrows.
@@sable7114Unfortunately it did not all come back in. The sides and back filled in enough not to see my scalp but the very top is still super thin. It’s not from products, not hereditary, thyroid is fine, it’s super thin and in one spot so bad that there’s no way I could move my part to the middle which is really in style now. I have to do a side part to cover it. I’m very self conscious about it so I no longer go to the pool. It almost looks like alopecia but my reg dr & dermatologist both said it wasn’t. I’ve tried supplements & vitamins but nothing works. I’ve thought about a color spray or wig topper which I’ll probably be forced to get. It’s very depressing!!!!!
I had the same experience, minus the ICU part. I tried most supplements, and nothing worked until my ND recommended iodine solution. Now my hair is closer to what it used to be like before I got infected, in terms of strand integrity, hair thickness and colour.
Get your hormones (and thyroid) checked asap! You don’t want to let anything go too long. Hair loss can be a symptom of many things, and your doc might refer you to an endocrinologist for more detailed blood tests. I was diagnosed with adrenal hyperplasia in my early 20s and doc said I should’ve been checked in my teens since I was having symptoms, and many young women are tested for PCOS as well. Usually none of it is scary, often just a pill if it’s hormonal, and it might even be low iron like the video said, esp since your hormones are booming and periods are often heavy in your teens. Prob something easy, just need a little checkup! Good luck, I know it can be traumatic - my hair was my thing, and I was so freaking grateful to have a reason for it falling out and a way to make it stop!

Phew!! They fly through this information so fast, they both couldn't even catch their breath to laugh!

I also eat Greek yogurt with strawberries, but I add a little granola to mine as well. Excellent source of non meat protein!
Interesting. I eat the same yogurt - about 1/2 C, maybe I need to eat more?
Fage is the best Greek yogurt sold in the US.
I've tried biotin but I only grew chin hair. 😫
😢 that chin hair man

@@blessngifted I started taking biotin supplements about a month ago and noticed the increase of hairs on my chin! You too! That must be the reason.

I've heard many dermatologists say to use 5% Rogaine bec 2% does nothing.

The problem is when you’re stressing it’s hard to sleep well 🤷🏻♀️
I have major stress & menopause at the same time & hair loss☹️
Teach us, my beautiful sis Dr.
Vitamin D spray is all I needed…
People bring up biotin but some are allergic to biotin.
Vitamin D3/K2 & magnesium is huge, if your not supplementing you are most likely deficient! BHRT ladies 😊
You telling me to exercise for hair loss stresses me out even more

Try meditation.

Biotin
Biotin should be the least of your worries when it comes to hair loss. Iron, vitamin D, b12 omega 3 are far beyond more important than biotin.
