I'd been losing hair daily. My barber asked me to use this reactivate hair growth serum by littlexetra and received it around 2 weeks ago and have been using it after getting it. I had doubt that whether it will work or not but it worked. It controlled my hair loss and I grew new tiny hairs from it. I am using it as per given description every day and I am sure within next month or two, I will see many more hairs.

    • @ItsMeCheryl1231
      @ItsMeCheryl1231 9 месяцев назад +6

@@lokiyan Not really. I use it at night and it does feel a bit oily at the time I apply it, but by morning, it doesn't seem oily. I usually wash it out in the morning, but there have been times when I have just misted my hair and re-blow dried and styled my hair.

I was on monoxidil for 4 years. The max regrowth you get is up until 1 year and then it's maintenance. At 2.5 years my hair started falling out even worse than before I started. Used still constantly for about another 2 years and it did nothing but speed up the hairless process. I have stopped using it and my hair falls out at a slower pace than before I was on it. It's an absolute garbage product with extremely minimal results as far as growing your hair back. I would say it's not worth it and will never go back to monoxidil again. Diet change, natural oils and getting your vitamins tested to see where you may have deficiency is the best.

I am now going through another phase, and it's so good to hear in a clear, informative fashion, what all the treatment options are. I'm already using some of them, but will continue to discuss further possibilities with my dermatologist. Thank you!

I’ve been using rosemary oil on my scalp for a little over 6 months. I only use it once or twice a week before I wash my hair (I let it sit on my scalp for at least 30 minutes prior to washing it off) I started noticing less fall out in the shower within the first month. Since I have been very consistent with it, the longer I’ve been using it (again I only use it once or twice a week) the less fall out I’ve been seeing. I could literally get clumps in the drain causing the water to not be able to drain, and would have to clean it out of the way at least 2-3 times whenever I washed my hair. Now I rarely have to clean hair out of the drain at all.

After delivery, I noticed my hairfall but I remained calm. I acted to to control it. I chose a health-centered approach.
I prioritized my nutrition, having nutrient-rich foods, specially rich in Folic Acid and Protein.
I exercised daily and engaged in meditation for stress control.
I just stayed away from tight hairstyles and stopped using heated styling tools to prevent hair stress.
I also started using LittleExttra's Coconion shampoo, hair oil combined with a neem wood comb.
The outcome was hair fall control and the return of my hair.

You did a fantastic job at going through the things available for people who cant go to a Board Certified Dermatologist. One thing to add, if a person can afford it, PRP is available for pregnant woman.
Also, there is a lot if newer evidence and ongoing research regarding near and Infrared light therapy. It can be coupled with Minoxidil and a DHT inhibitor shampoo, which obviously gives a person the best results. Great video!!

Thanks for the useful info! I, too, has been suffered with hair loss all along as someone who has PCOS with female pattern hair loss running in my family. I was in the the beginning of Ludwig scale in stage 2 earlier this year and it hit me really hard. So I finally went to consult with dermatologist and she suggested PRP treatments and also prescribed oral and topical minoxidil and oral spironolactone. Also, I invested in iRestore LED cap thingy as well. So far, I’m about 5 months in the journey already and I see quite a dramatic result - my bald spot is barely there, the hair diameter is much thicker and the hair itself feels healthier than ever. So I do agree, you have to do everything in your power and I know it takes a LOT of effort and money but I swear it’s incomparable to the confidence I got back.

You're so right about the psychological side effects, especially when you don't want to even be in public anymore. I had breast cancer a few years ago and all my hair fell out from chemotherapy. It grew back in so slowly and thin that I almost prefer being bald again. I have to be on estrogen suppressants for the rest of my life basically, but my doctor shrugs off my hair loss issues since it's not a real oncology medical concern. Would any of these options work for me or do I need to just accept this hair loss forever?

Mine eventually grew back but now after ten years it’s buggering off again and I’m living in permanent chemo flashbacks mode. Can’t cope. Hope yours improves. Drs don’t get it. They think it’s just hair.
I understand that they have to tell patients that they are going to die every day, and compared to that, it is just hair.
But to us, this isn’t a rational response, it’s the feelings around cancer tied up in hair loss that never go away and we are stuck seeing it every time we look in a mirror forever. No where to hide.

Have you ever try sublingual biotin tab? I had a different surgery to where I cut my hair above my neck because I needed more than a year to recover and during those times, I had to be on iron supplement. After the course of the supplement, there were other issues, such as graying of the hair, and my scalp would have bumps in it after trying to dye my hair. Most of the time the hair loss is caused by not brushing my hair before I take a shower I’m shampooing my hair. It would fall off in tangles after I shower and also after I dye my hair, but then again, eventually it will grow back slowly and gradually, but I have a receding fore head at a young age when I was a minor. I think that part is genetic. My dad also was bald when he got older. When I took Isleton, I notice is gradually working or maybe it was just working on its own, even without the biotin. Taking boot did not hurt it. I did not take it daily nor weekly. I just took it whenever I remember to take it and I do not take it on the daily. I try not to dye my hair as often but it’s tough. I’ve been but works to wear because my hair is going gray. The hardest part is this hair wigs sometimes they don’t even look real even though they are expensive.

I had significant hair loss after both my kids were born. I've never met another person who has this happen (which makes me happy because I don't want others to go through the horror of losing that much hair!) When I say handfuls of hair fell out, I mean literal handfuls each time I washed my hair for several months. It was awful (but it has grown back, thankfully!)

I have had hair loss on and off since I was a teenager. It grew back on and off and was thinning slowly.
After having 2 kids with the past 3 years, I have 1/3 of my hair. It sucks. I don't have anybody else who has this problem after having kids. I'm sorry you are experiencing this too, but I'm glad you said something. Now I know I'm not alone. ❤

I think you need to use rosemary oil in some other "carrier" oil at a low percentage.( I'd like more information on that). I have found leaving it on my scalp (overnight) not diluted seemed to burn my scalp, it even formed scabs!
This is just a friendly note of caution, have you used it, how did you find it?

Can you do a video on skincare products for bald scalps? e.g., can you still use retinoids and exfoliating acids on your scalp? Should we expect this area to be more irritating that other areas? Are there skin concerns that we talk about frequently for the face which are unlikely to be a significant concern for the scalp? Since shaving one's head causes mircocuts on a regular basis, should we be using skin protectants and does it matter which one?

You seem so sweet and empathetic, I wish you were my doctor! As someone who has been struggling just to find doctors for the past three years who listen and don't wave me off as fine because I'm young, I'm at my breaking point with health anxiety. Blood test came back normal last year though.
I've noticed for the past 4-5 years the hair on the right side of my head (temples, down toward the ear and a little behind) has gradually gotten thinner. I have fine hair. No bald spots, but the thickness between the two sides of my head is very noticeable to me. Like, I feel the air more on that side lol. I always wear my hair down, I'm very gentle when I detangle, and I let my hair air dry. Some bad habits I have - I've been using a flat iron with no heat protectant on, I don't braid my long hair before I sleep so I wake up with lots of tangles, I do detangle damp hair... But you'd think I'd notice the thinning on both sides since I treat them equal. I've heard it's not really a cause, but does anyone know for sure if favoring one side when you sleep can cause a traction hair loss?
Edit: I am on anti depressants and have been since I was at least 16, so a good 13 years almost. Also I am a woman. Forgot to mention that.

I was diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia at age 29 and was devastated. Spironolactone, oral minoxidil, and ketoconazole shampoo 2% have made a major difference.
I also recommend reducing the amount of bleach/permanent color applied to the hair. I switched to demi-permanent color with fewer applications, and I’ve noticed my hair is glossier and has less breakage.

I had significant hair loss after menopause. The shedding phase just seemed to go on and on hair coming out in clumps. I started on hydrolysed collagen to see if this helped. Around the same time I bought an LED panel which I used religiously facing front, sides and back of head & neck. Within around 6 months significantly less shedding and around a year I have seen significant improvements, hair thicker and less hair free patches ❤

Just wanted to point out that the 2% Minoxidil is not a waste of time, effort, energy and money for some women out there. I totally get that the 5% is safe for women, but it did make me somehow grow far more hair on my face and body to a point where I couldn't even deal with it. I know I'm not the only woman who has had this happen with it, even if most probably wouldn't experience this. Changing to the 2% did resolve this side effect, while remainging effective at regrowing my hair through years of chronic telogen effluvium. I don't know what I'd do if they stopped making the 2%.
