I've tried a zillion things. The single things that actually worked in my case: A good diet, proper sleeping timings, moving your body atleast for 20 mins, eating right, using good shampoo as well as oil. I use only liiitleextraa cocoonnion organic hair oil shampoo for this reason plus it does the work. My hair fall got under control with it.

I appreciate the effort you put into making this video-it's truly valuable. My personal best decision in life was to turn to natural hair loss prevention products, and that's why I saved my hair. These natural products don't have expensive marketing campaigns, so you've probably never heard of them, but trust me, be sure to try them, and you'll thank me. I think Norlest has everything related to these natural formulas.

I'm grateful for the actionable tips you've shared in this video. Everyone is different, and not everyone has the same hair, but personally, natural recipes from Norlest have helped me a lot. My hair has regained its shine, and I'm really satisfied. My warm recommendation is to try these products because if nothing has helped you so far, then you have nothing to lose with this, and you can gain a lot.

I always find it amazing how much education and clarity your videos provide in just 15 to 30 minutes! Since you started your channel six months ago I've learned so much about skin and hair. The irony is that I thought I knew a lot about the subjects you've covered, but you have a way of making things simple to understand and you've dispelled a lot of the myths that I, and I'm sure others, have always believed. I also appreciate when you have a partnership video, like this one, you always state it right up front so people know from the get go. Regardless, partnered or not, all of your videos have been a treasure trove of skin and hair education.

The time I faced hairfall, I followed all the following to successfully reduce it:
Include hot oil scalp massages into your routine.
Don’t use hot water when rinsing your hair.
Shield your hair from too much sweat.
Use a dual tooth neem wood comb to brush out wet hair.
Decrease your sugar and junk food intake.
Use natural anti hair fall shampoo and oil like littleeextra cocconion.
Nurture a positive mindset for general well-being.

Things I’ve read looking into hair loss
    1) dehydration
    2) not enough sun
    3) blood flow
    4) notice a difference when drinking gatorade when I was sick with covid. My hair became significantly softer than drinking water. Is there a more healthier dink that does not have sugar?
    5) over weight/ plus other health issues Diabetes/menopause
    6) dry scalp

    8) flashbacks of a negative memory/ stress

The only thing that helped me with my hormonal hair loss was laser cap and massaging.
To see results with the cap took a good 16 months to see growth. And now it’s on its way. It was a pretty severe wide part situation that no doctors had answers for.
It totally makes sense because I have always had anxiety, that I have a tight scalp. And lack of blood flow from that. So I do believe the massaging has helped with the tight scalp. No doctor will tell you this because you didn’t study it.
Also my mom has thinning hair and has always had anxiety.
My siblings that don’t have anxiety, have thick hair.

Thank you for doing these videos. I had alopecia in one spot that was a little larger than the size of a quarter several years ago. At first, it looked like my hair color was just a little lighter, but it continued until all the hair was gone. I went to my dermatologist who gave me injections just in that area. I was very lucky that all my hair in that spot grew back and in my natural color (he said it might grow back gray or white). He also recommended using minoxidil and explained that it was the ONLY type of OTC product that would regrow hair.

Recently, the areas where I was applying the topical foam started to fall out!! Needless to say, I stopped using it immediately. I was so upset with my provider because I was thinking she prescribed something that perpetuating the problem instead of resolving it. Love your videos. Other things that have been a game changer for me include common sense measures. For example, I use to bulldoze my way through my hair. I now avoid combing and brushing my hair incessantly. I now use my fingers to gently work the tangles out. I also use a wide-tooth comb to gently comb out my hair before having my shower. Wet Detangler is my new bestie. I have found that the minoxidil does work if used correctly. I had written off my list till one day I ran across an article and realized I was not using it, as per the directions. Collectively, these things have made a huge difference in addressing my hair loss. As always, thanks for the great information.

I experienced hair loss after fasting and weight loss, and did find that nutritionally rehabing my diet and supplementing with biotin and collagen worked well for regrowing the hair very quickly. Maybe it would have grown back anyway, but I noticed improvements in my nails and skin, too. The typical American diet is probably already nutrient deficient. Especially if it's mostly processed foods. Now I eat once a day, feel great, keep the weight off, and have all my hair.

@@halimam4583 My understanding of vitamin supplementation - any supplement - is that it's only useful if your body is deficient in those vitamins to begin with.
So, if your body has adequate stores of, say, B7, taking a B7 supplement won't do you any good. On the other hand, if your stores are really depleted it may take up to a couple years of supplementing before the deficit is resolved. In the case of poor nutrition over many years it's possible for that to happen, and then I can see where discontinuing B7 would result in the symptoms of a deficiency returning.
Now, that's my understanding but I'm not a certified nutritionist. In any case, all my hair hadn't fallen out in the first place and I think if it did, I'd be consulting a doctor!

I started losing my hair in my late teens early 20's. I've been on minoxidil for about 10 years. I still lose a lot of hair but I continue to use it not to lose whatever little I have. I'm 50 now and I think peri-menopause is causing my hair to shed more so I stated viviscal about 6 months ago. I also use good quality shampoo for hair breakage and scalp scrubs to keep my scalp clean. I'm thinking of oral medication next but my biggest regret is not seeing a dermatologist when I was younger. My PCP never took me seriously when I was younger and I just struggle with ways to cover my baldness. They never even mentioned a dermatologist. So this is my hairloss journey and I won't give up because as a woman it's devastating. 😞

This is horrifying. 20 years on since I discovered I was one of the lucky one to have AG and still no decent treatment for a condition that is ruining the lives of so many women.
Minoxidil is not a decent treatment if you have to do it all your life. If you stop, all your hair that grew using it will end up falling and you will end up where you were. In my case, the "initial shedding" lasted for a year or even a year and Half. I was told if I stopped, there was nothing else that worked. Of course, I stopped. I guess the initial shedding would have lasted for the rest of my life! It also does not work for everybody.
I strangely still have hair on my head, not much of course, but I am surprised I am not virtually bald considering the amount I loose each day.
The psychological impact of alopecia should be adressed especially for young women. It should not be a taboo in society and women should be "allowed" by society to loose their hair and still remain women. This would be true fairness.

It is horrifying! I've been having hair loss since 2017...ever since being put on Testosterone cream. I can't get off the stuff! So have you tried Finasteride? My GYN wants me on either that or Spironolactone. I'm terrified of taking another medication. I may just go see a dermatologist first and get a biopsy done to make sure it's the DHT causing me issues.

I haven't tried finasteride. I use essential oils in my shampoo (tea tree, rosemary) also black seed oil and henna. It helps the look of my hair but does not stop the shedding. I have terrible effluvium telogen. I suppose somehow hair must grow back a little otherwise I would have nothing left. My alopecia is diffuse, all over the scalp. A friend of mine developped androgenic alopecia recently and she does not loose hair badly like I do but somehow, her hair look bad especially at the front. I asked her if she was loosing her hair a lot and she said no. She does not believe me when I say I loose tons of hair each day. Unfortunately I do and it is very depressing. People can be so annoying sometimes... I know what I am talking about, I live it every day!

I'm post menopause and my levels were extremely low but I had no hair loss when I was off all hormones. I've heard some women say taking Testosterone helped their hair. I will admit it took away the dryness so it looked better. It does make it grow faster as I have to get more frequent haircuts. For me also it's my Estradiol is too low to where my T is at. But I have a hard time upping my Estrogen. My doctor did give me the choice of getting on Spironolactone or Finasteride but I'd have to see my cardiologist before getting on Spiro so I thought I'd try Finasteride but after reading horror stories about it I've decided not to get on it and try to get my Estrogen and Progesterone up. That will counteract the T effects some. I think Progesterone helps hair as well. Spironolactone I believe acts like a weak 5-alpha reductase inhibitor but it also blocks the androgen receptor whereas I'd think your T would drop whereas with finasteride your Free T will go up but will be converted into Estrogoen. I've known women who got depressed on Spiro so it's such a hard choice for me to make with my mental health history. I hear Rosemary oil is good for hair loss. I'm currently using a hair growth peptide from BioTe and it seems to help some. It's just a pain is all having to put stuff on your scalp daily. Good luck to you...this is no fun!

Also bad cholesterol and pre-diabetes can make hair worse, liver and kidneys affect hair as well. I started to lose hair after I implemented spirulina pills. I've noticed I started to have some thick hair growth over my body and my hair was similar to male hair loss. It took me years to realize that spirulina is the enemy of estrogen. So now that I've stopped taking it, and I have removed diary, sugar and bad cholesterol as well the little hair on my belly! Yup on the belly and around mouth suddenly disappeared. @@lindsayb1329 I have a cat as well :) I've kept the Minoxidil safely in a bathroom cabinet where I know she can't get it, and she's not a cat who sleeps around my head or licks my hair or anything, so I feel it's safe.
I've used Minoxidil 3 times in my life and applied it twice a day, morning and evening. My hair fall was due to extreme stress (telogen effluvium), so much of it has grown back in between those events as my life has calmed down.
I still have some light thinning around my hairline but I just attribute this to getting older, and my hair is no longer coming out in alarming amounts. I've stopped using the Minoxidil and could probably still use it for the light thinning, but I've gotten lazy!
I have some on backup in my cabinet, though, just in case the extreme shedding comes back.

I'm 57 I've recently lost 50% of my hair. I had very thick hair, to see it so thin is frightening. I told my hair dresser, she commented that hair loss is also a side effect of covid. I had covid in the beginning of the year in Jan. I started noticing hair lost in Feb by April I was very worried. I started to take Biotin and and brought an over the counter minoxidil. I do have a lot of regrowth , so hopefully the fall out has stopped. I'll give it some months to see. If not I will make an appt. with a dermatologist.

Girls do this and pray for me I’ve started losing my hair since I was 17 as it’s genetic in our family, then I started doing this routine a month ago and my hair has been growing like crazy I’m in no way a doctor or anything but this absolutely worked for me also if it’s genetic you have to always use this,
1- Use Derma roller 2-3 times a week
2- Get caffeine shampoo (keep it on your hair for 2-3 min then wash) and caffeine serum (use serum once a day) (I used alpecin brand for both)
3- get msm pills and squash them into powder in 100 mil of water shake well and spray your head 5 sprays once a day, 2 weeks use it 2 weeks rest (would recommend using it mid day or morning as it caused headaches in the beginning then they passed) (store in fridge)
4- jojoba oil + mint oil + rosemary oil and lavender oil mix together and apply them 2-3 times a week for half an hour to one hour (this is instead of minoxidil 5%)

My mom started thinning on the top of her head in her late 50's. I was in my late 40's when I noticed my center part getting wider. Then I was diagnosed with cancer and after doing two types of chemo and radiation at the same time, then losing my hair. It grew back much thicker. 'Parking lot' hair loss was gone and my front hairline was back were it was when I was much younger. I could actually see on the hair shaft of hair that came out where the chemo was. My hair grows very fast. In my early 60's again I was suffering severe hair loss. And lots of regrowth. So weird. My hair was to my waist but a ponytail had the girth of a pencil. This time it was being very low in Vitamin D. Takes quite a while to raise levels of D. Now in my early 70's I have lots of hair and it grows very fast. Watch your vitamin D levels.

Great video! So much information I watched it twice to take it all in. Would love a similar video addressing issues with fingernails. Issues such as peeling, soft bendable nails, and split down the center of the nail. I know toenails have their own issues, but I’m particularly curious about fingernails. Will a damaged nail continue to grow back split forever? Are there any products or treatments to help with this?

Okay so I have this issue. I stay on a prenatal vitamin, d3, zinc, biotin, and I take collagen peptides daily. I also eat a lot of green veggies and all of this combination has turned my nails from see through, bendable, and constantly breaking off to strong and the ends that extend beyond my finger are now white. I've been doing this for like 4 months and I expect them to get even better over time. I hope it eventually starts helping my hairloss. The collagen peptides alone helped a bit but when I added a daily biotin pill it truly made the difference.

When I was younger about 10 years ago, I started to become suspicious about my hair. I noticed that it had less volume...felt thinner. I wasn't sure what was going on. I thought maybe it was because I grew my hair long and that's why it looked thin. I would go back and forth dismissing it, that I was worrying about nothing. It turns out I was really losing my hair all these years. I have androgenetic alopecia and PCOS. Normally it feels good to be right about things. But I wish I was wrong this time.

I also make sure I get a high amount of protein daily. I'm convinced that most "age-related' sarcopenia is actually "protein insufficiency" sarcopenia. Most of my girlfriends dramatically under-eat protein. Most people (including RDs) think you need less protein as you age. Wrong. You need double the protein you did in your youth because your ability to absorb and metabolize it declines and you need more to make up for the inefficient metabolism. I also came home to a partner who was newly diagnosed with low low WBC. I have always had very thick, strong, shiny hair. However, I started shedding all over the place, and didn't care about it at first-- as I was grieving-- until my SO (Significant Other), complained about it! I purchased some hair and nails supplements, and in short order, my hair stopped falling out. It has been my experience to support my body by giving it what it needs to do it's job properly. Now you rarely get 2%… As a small frame female, really sensitive, I get fed up with the move towards everything bigger and more. There are a lot of us who still require smaller dosages of things!

@Lori A I went to dermatologist and I have genetic Female pattern hair loss. I am in menopause, had a hysterectomy 2018. My Mom and Dad both have thin hair. Mine is also thin around the front, I can see through fine hair to my scalp. Also last summer noticed it had thinned around crown in back of my hair. I have to comb hair over it every morning, it parts off and shows my scalp. So distressed. They say this is a mild case but I know it will only get worse. Want to try Rogaine, but have sensitive scalp + having to watch it fall out first is horrifying to me though she said it will eventually anyway. I am trying Nutrafol, but very expensive and I noticed some side effects for me anyway. This is so horrible. I think I need to be using 2 approaches and stay on for life. They also assume that everyone has fabulous insurance and can afford a bazillion treatments, or the time to spend in the bathroom with some treatment on thier scalp every day. Some people's insurance won't cover dermatology regarding hair loss, your skin has to be falling off before they will cover it.

I believe my hair loss is attributable to the keto & intermittent fasting diet I'm on, because my hair loss pretty much began when I started it. So, the easy answer is stop the diet. But I've seen some huge benefits from the diet, including fat loss to where I look a whole lot better in my jeans, and a total clearing up of acne on my arms from which I had suffered for over 20 years. Is there a time after which my body will adjust to the diet, such that I can stay on it? Or is there some modification of the diet that can stop the hair loss? What's more detrimental to hair loss, keto, or intermittent fasting? Please help. I've lost more than half my hair volume over the last 4 months. I remain on the keratin supplements that gave me super thick hair before this all started, but they no longer seem to help at all.
