- This is kind of a Part 2 to the ship lap wall video I posted previously. This video shows how i installed a decorative galvanized metal on the lower portion of my ship lap walls to give a more rustic "barn" appearance. The metal is a plain corrugated galvanized metal I purchased from Lowes. This video will show how I went about prepping for the metal, installing the trims and finishing off the window and door casings that tie into the metal part of the wall.
We are nearly complete with the great room area in the barn, and we are getting very excited to hopefully be moving in fairly soon!?
This is not a sponsored video. These are the products that I have chosen for the best results possible for this particular project. But, if anyone would like to sponsor W.K.D. Construction to use their products...then by all means, contact me! If I use a certain product, it's for a good reason. I stand behind all of my work and the products I install.

Beautiful floor. Nice trick on pocket hole framing around outlets. I just finished up doing the same with some old weathered heavy gauge corrugated tin.
Sweet, sounds cool. Thanks for watching

You did a great job!
Thank you!
@@w.k.d.constructionllc you're welcome
Where did you get the j track/channel from?
I made it myself on my brake.
Just bought 20 sheets of this and when it was delivered they all had white residue all over them. Do you typically have to clean them?
No. Never had to 🤷🏼♂️
@@w.k.d.constructionllc gotcha, thanks
Did you have to ground around the receptacle?
Yes, always
How did you ground it? It all looks good BTW
@@silvercvic my bad, I misunderstood your comment. The receptacle itself is grounded but not any of the metal.
Okay now come do mine 😩
Ha
