I'm wondering about the "grain" and if it frays when cut and possibly peeling off. And 2, do you feel like that "grain" will last s long time? I know it's not being exposed to direct sunlight and UV rays for the most part, just curious about how you feel about the longevity of perceived longevity.

Reference lines like that are essential to make sure you're straight when you get to the top. We'll run one around the entire house before we start siding with the transit so we have a reference around the entire building and then do just as you did in special situations.
