My dad was obsessed with fat boys. He just passed last month and gave me his most recent bike which is a 2007 Fatboy. White with blue. It's probably the coolest Harley ive ever seen.
I’m 43 years old and just put a down payment on my first motorcycle. It’s a 2002 Fatboy and if all goes well I’ll have her by the end of the week. With all the COVID bs going on it’ll take a couple weeks for an appointment at the RMV to get my permit. I’ve waited this long, what’s another couple weeks. Super excited to hit the road!!!!
Congratulations brother my favorite bike. Close second is the dyna wide glide. Started falling in love with the road glide now. I also love the Yamaha raider. Dont know what bike to be my second yet.
Great words. After a decade on 2 wheels I traded my Harley for a 2 seat sports car, I was done. Then a fat boy rumbled past me and shook my heart back to life and for the past 6 years I’ve been riding.
Same with me bro. Fell in love with Fatboy since 1991 after watching the T2 movie. I was 14 back then. I bought my Fatboy on December 2020, after almost 30 years of waiting.
My wife and I used to cruise around on an 06 Fat Boy. I lost my job and had to go work somewhere making way less, so we decided to sell the bike. Of all the bikes I've owned, that was the one that we had the most fun with as a couple.
@@Spartansrule118 100% Always started immediately, ran perfectly. I had a stage one kit done and it ran like a raped ape. The only complaint I ever had was 5th gear was too low, was always looking for another gear that wasn't there on the highway. They fixed that problem in 07 though : )
I am with you on the Fat Boy Train. I have an 08 with just under 5k miles. bought it at 2800 miles. The red and chrome edition. always love these bikes.
Beautiful motorcycle sir. I had an 06’ with fuel injection, loved that bike. My Fat Boy was black however, although I do like blue. Solid wheels have no impact on how it rides, I’ve had spokes, no difference, trust me. Currently own a 2012 with the 103 however I actually had a little more legroom on the 2006. Best of luck!
Got a black (don't care, I like black ;) ) 2016 Fatboy. I've put 34k on the clock, and I love the shit out of it. The addition of the electric throttle (and accompanying electronic cruise control) makes it cleaner, smoother, and more convenient.
Bought a brand new Fat Boy in 91 after returning from the Gulf War and saving 90% of my pay for the 9 months I spent there. I never thought I would get rid of it but I happened to see a beautiful 92 FXR that had been completely gone through and fell in love with it immediately. The Fat Boy was a comfortable cruiser but my FXR is a full tilt boogie type of Harley. It's now supercharged, very quick and handles better than any Harley I have ever owned. I just wish it was a bit more comfortable on a long ride. Definitely fun in a canyon carving up a highway though
Dragging pegs, little nick in the fender....if it ain't getting scrapes it ain't getting ridden....it ain't a jewel it's a bike! Ride the wheels off of it!
Amen brother!.... I own a 2013 fatboy lo and I absolutely love it!... It is black tho, Im gonna have it painted soon as my painter brother is freed up...but it's a beast of a bike and I'll never part with it!..God bless guys... Love what you all are doing!
I bought an 88 cube Fatboy in 1993 & a 2nd 103 cube Fatboy in 2012 ,I gave the 93 Evo to my Godson last year & he loves the heck out of it ,both my sons have twin cam Road Kings and Fatboys from me
I recently bought a 2000 fat boy and I love it. 28,000 miles white paint all stock except v&h exhaust and 14" apes very clean my favorite bike I've owned.
That’s a nice bike , it never ceases to amaze me just how many HD garage queens are out there , and by the way my 2 HD are wiped clean with detail spray when I get home they simply cost to much not to take care of
I fell in love with the Harley Davidson bikes when I was in the 1st grade, my grandma was driving me home from school and I we were stopped at a red-light and a brand new Harley Davidson on a truck pulled up next to us and I just remember having my face pushed against the glass in awe of the bike lol
I have a 21 street glide special in black. I had a Softail slim for my second bike, I traded that in for a 22 fatboy a week ago. I love just looking at that bike let alone riding it. Feels great, looks great, love it.
I've got a crazy clean 2002 fatboy that is electric blue. It's got a few more miles than this one, but, it's just as clean and I came off of a 2020 fat bob. This fat boy rides just as good if not better. Clutch feels amazing brakes feel good, throttle is butter smooth. My first fat boy and I love it.
That handlebar is a 10-inch right? You didn't have to lengthen the cables. I like the stock handlebar but often find it uncomfortable, I would like to change it but the APEs on the Fatboy I don't like. I like yours
I bought mine in 1997 new. Other than a bunch of those Harley dealer bolt on's, its stock. Well at least in appearance. I won't list the engine/transmission modes. As it has been since the late 90s, it is a beast of a machine. I love it. It is red/silver. I looked all over the West Coast for one and had to fly to LA to buy it as no one back then had any. I used it to qualify for the Iron Butt Association
My neighbor has a softail fatboy. She has bike 41 or 81 out of 200 special paint jobs. Not a spec of any anything on it. Cleanest bike I've seen in a long time.
Just sold both my twin cams and bought a 98 Fatboy 28767 original miles from original own. I am a happy camper. My wife hates the buddy seat on my 72 FLH so we have another bike she can ride on in comfort. Thirty years ago she didn't mind the 72,s seat.
I have had many bikes all Harley. Never had a Fat Boy. Would love one someday. Love my Road Glide Custom and my West Coast Chopper CFL. I do want to add a Softail and want another Nightrain. Great vid!
The Fat Boy is my favorite Harley... simply because of T2. I was just out of high school and not really into bikes, then I saw Arnold ride that Fat Boy... I became a man!!!
Is that bike lowered possibly? That roundabout has no camber of any sort. I know the Softail Slim is scrape city but pegs would be advised on this bike.
I have the same bike in sierra red, '04 FLSTF (non-injected). My wife can't figure out why I don't trade it in for something bigger. at 3:40 he stated "1st time bags been drugged, I'll try not to do it again". During my Motorcycle safety course on my Fatboy which i lowered, i knew my Bike floor boards scraped during sharp turns, I let it scrap, the floor boards fold/pivot. knowing your bike is Key to riding through obstacles, in the Safety coarse many rides straighten there bikes when they heard the scrapping noise & failed to hold the course & had to circle back again. knowing your bike stopping power is also Key, for myself i Know the rear tire is going to slide so i'm prepared knowing to keep the front wheel on coarse, " Not Losing Control" OK Every rider, Safe Thump Up.
Fat boys are the baddest bike ever!! I ride a 01 Fatboy that’s totally tricked out and never had an ounce of trouble and this bike turned more heads in Sturgis than $50k baggers. I wouldn’t ride any other Harley but a Fatboy!!! Epic in every way and I ride it like a superbike in the turns and a dragbike from light to light!! And yes the solid wheels ride just fine even in windstorms!!! Keep up your great videos!
I've watched alot of your videos. I love the bits of the Word at the beginning. You're a cool cat. You actually helped me purchase my first 2 harleys you just don't know it lol. Thank you and God bless brother
That's funny you say that! My dad actually gave me a 2003 fat boy for my 26th birthday! She has just under 7,000 miles! All chromed out! Like literally just about everything you can get chromed has been done to it such a nice bike
I love the old style solid wheels on fat boys. I have seen them with 6 spoke wheels out of the MoCo catalogue and they look good. Fat boys look good with the long shot pipes as well.
That's a clean fatboy i found one 2 years ago in Arizona original owner it only had 400 miles i was SHOCKED it's as clean as yours it's a 2003 anniversary black with the gold leaf trim the guy who owned it had a brand-new anniversary cover still in the box 2 Anniversary helmets and anniversary jacket and vest all like new i got it all for 7500 bucks of course I put new tires on because of the age and a 2 into 1 Vance and Hines pro-pipe and 12 inch apes love it always a head Turner

Hi I'm just watch your video and it's great, thanks..one question l don't have much experience on motorcycle but l ride a 900 cc Vulcan. ??Would be much difficult riding a 2007 fat boy that l want to buy? ,I'm concerned about weight,I'm 5'8?
36,600kms - 22,692mi Runs great and the person that owned before took really good care of it. Looking to change the stock seat a little hard on the butt. lol
Sean, I got nothing but respect for you, but it's a fact that the front rim can affect the ride. We've got bridges down here that have cross winds that will push that bike right into the next lane. You love the solid front rims... that's great for you. But I myself, like many others don't. That's for the rider to decide. All that being said, I wouldn't let the front wheel scare me from buying the bike, but it would definitely be changed if I did. I don't need to grow up to know what I like and what I don't when it comes to riding. As a rider, the biggest selling point of a motorcycle for me is the ride. And anything that affects the ride of a bike needs to be considered. And the wheels of a motorcycle are a big part of that. All this said, that's just my opinion and my thoughts on the subject. Like I said, I think you're a great guy, and I love the test rides you do.
"How often do people say I have a blue Fatboy" Well I have a blue 2008 fatboy. Love it. Been thinking of a streetglide, but I don't think I could part with my fatboy.
Been riding a Fatboy for 22 years. Have really enjoyed it but I am ready for a true Touring bike. Got my eyes on the Ultra Limited whenever my budget allows.
Thanks so much, love your Fat Boy videos! I'm getting a 2012 in 2 days. Never had a Harley, and haven't had a bike for over 30 years. I've been riding other bikes, so I feel I'm ready. What camera and microphone set up do you use? Keep the videos comin'!
What are your thoughts on the newer Evo motor Vs the original one? I've been told to avoid anything newer than a 1999 Harley. I fancy an FXR but they're not easy to find and these newer ones are plentiful.
Do these bikes with counterbalanced motors usually whine when downshifting? I’m looking to buy one but I noticed a whining noise when downshifting and only when downshifting
Ive tried out some Harley Davidson bikes and the trouble i have is me being 6 foot 4 in. And my knees being so high up on the tank. I have a 2016 Kawasaki vulcan s cafe and i fit on it perfectly. Why is this? The styles i like are to small and don't have enough power
Solid wheels are my favorite on the fatboy. If they are good enough for the Terminator, then they are good enough for me.
Dang it!!! Took my line! Hahaha... It held the T100... Think it will hold up my fat behind!

And anything that affects the ride of a bike needs to be considered. And the wheels of a motorcycle are a big part of that. All this said, that's just my opinion and my thoughts on the subject. Like I said, I think you're a great guy, and I love the test rides you do.
I personally like the menacing look of a completely blacked out bike... but have you seen the rawhide color on the new 2019s?
I got an 06 fat boy in two tone dragonfly green and black and i love it
I haven’t noticed any of your reviews with rides on large hills. Are none in your area?
My brother-in-law is a Harley mechanic, his favorite bike is the Fat Boy. Great bike!
Hello guys i need your opinion regarding bike. I have 09 vtx 1300 and im look for sportster 1200. Please let me know is it good idea ? Thnx
Love watching your test drive videos and all the bikes! What camera do you use for your videos?
My brother's 1999 Fat Boy is that clean. He has that thing shining!
I might get a 2011 fat boy this month. (First bike)
What are your thoughts on the newer Evo motor Vs the original one? I've been told to avoid anything newer than a 1999 Harley. I fancy an FXR but they're not easy to find and these newer ones are plentiful.
I already have a Fat boy amen want to get a newer one 1 new is 4000 mi. no extras(8999) other 32,000 with all the extras 11,999 what do you think
Do these bikes with counterbalanced motors usually whine when downshifting? I’m looking to buy one but I noticed a whining noise when downshifting and only when downshifting
Would you do head to head suzuki c50 and fatboy?
Ive tried out some Harley Davidson bikes and the trouble i have is me being 6 foot 4 in. And my knees being so high up on the tank. I have a 2016 Kawasaki vulcan s cafe and i fit on it perfectly. Why is this? The styles i like are to small and don't have enough power
