    I have been playing 20 plus years and I cannot get either hand to do the push pull with any speed at all. Maybe you could do a video breaking it down and explaining what to practice to gain speed.

      My advice would be doing the same thing with slow speeds. I'm not a teacher but prioritizing slow tempos and control has helped me a lot!

    Alexander, do you have any good practice pad recommendations that are somewhat affordable. Been trying to get a more high quality one for a bit

      One that I could recommend is Evans realfeel. It's cheap and simple but it works always. This Ahead snare pad is also great since it comes with rims but it might be a bit too loud in some situations...
