You were staring me down when you were on Bass 4 😂 Had the white and blue hat, i think we were both outside before the performance playing infront of the convention center
The fact that you played those 5 separate parts and synced them perfectly in your head is beyond my comprehension of human ability. My brain is literally broken.
Dude always kills it on all the marching stuff and then sits behind a drum kit and reminds me of what you hear at a Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon.
@@aberamagold7509 Imagine the patience required to be able to practice enough to be able to execute each part so we’ll that they’d all stitch together perfectly?
Seriously tho the fact that you got the split stuff so on point, cuz it really did just look like random nonsense on stage (bass drums/cymbals), it's wildly impressive that you got that in time on the spot
In my youth, I played in the horn section of a competition drum and bugle corp. I witnessed several amazing solos on tri-toms etc. This reminds me very much of that. Excellent. Thank you.
My good Lord I graduated in 2004 and only did some small independent lines and this is the best f****** editing I've ever seen in my life Jesus Christ I hope there is so much more to consume from this channel 😂
This has got the be the best video you've ever made. It is mind bogglingly impressive that you were even able to pull any of this off, first from the masked guy duplication in person, to the cult following you started on sea serpent (plus the dumb thoosie facts). I'm even more impressed that TIA even let you do all this, big props to them i guess ps. you should totally start a coaster channel, because marching band and roller coasters are also my 2 favorite things 😁
At about 4:48 you can see him set his phone down on the far right, along with the cymbal. I suspect wireless ear buds while listening to a metronome via the phone, and a lot of rehearsal prior.
Somewhere in the Cosmos, Gene, Buddy, Bonzo, Keith, and Neil are digging this performance! Reminds me of some of Carl Palmer’s stuff with ELP also! Crazy good work!

I’m sitting in my car, screaming like the audience! Bro, that snare playing with some of the most impressive shit I’ve seen in a while. If I can ever get 2% of this talent I will be happy
I feel the inspirations from blast drum battles. Might be wrong but it seemed like there are quite a few elements and themes sprinkled in from that. Awesome drumming
So many comments to make: First, your cymbal technique has really improved. Very Nice! Second, Were those the Highland Regional HS kids following behind you running to the roller coaster? Third, How did you get all the people riding the roller coaster to clap along? and Fourth, It's a good thing you had good weather! Was the roller coaster ride recorded on Sunday???
Thank you to everyone who came out and watched! I'm already looking forward to next years solo.
That was stellar!

Hey Eric! Just wanted to let you know it was great to see you on Sunday at Chapters
That's why you ran out so much I was with wilson sadly we didn't place high but it's fine next year we got it
I couldn't come out because we had a time ordinance, and our director didn't let us come out and watch

Less about syncing probably more about counting exactly on time every time
@@Buckent yea definitely more about counting as you would just sync the start in the editor
Some of the stuff he’s free styling
You should see some of his splits from like 4 years ago.

the dude really made the audience sit through 5 different bass and cymbal split parts just for the video lmao
it actually took forever, i was so tired
I wouldn't have had the patience to sit through it.

Have a crowd cheer during your solo gives you a energy boost I swear
@EMC PRODUCTION no
Nah only queer ass kids do that
It's the dancing and melding of all the emotional frequencies being conjured. This is an example of Magick
Only if it’s not entirely retarded… there are times the audience becomes an instrument too.
No
That was the best triangle solo I've ever seen. It doesn't matter if it's the only triangle solo I've ever seen it was the best.
I've been taking triangle lessons for the past 27 years
@@billycox475I used to play circle. Wasn't very good.
It’s certainly one of the (a)cutest triangle solos I’ve ever witnessed. Well-played!

Agreed. Also, first comment!
@@EMCproductions I was not paying attention! 57 minutes late! 😅😅. Or more!
Uh, bit true…. “But it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.” So in that case if it ain’t swung, it ain’t Jazz.
pork chops = jazz
It's Drum Corps
That edited "put together" fake-multi-person part was awesome. I guess the audience didn't understand what was going on - I hope they see this video!
lol, I can't believe you had them all sit through each individual bass and cymbal part!
It was fun watching that

Keep it up
Crazy stuff. Awesome stuff. The one thought that kept popping into my head is "Could he play 'Bleed'?" 😂.
Can Bleed play him? Is the real question..
How the hell you did the duplicate part in one take and actually kept time to make it work when edited together is beyond me
At about 4:48 you can see him set his phone down on the far right, along with the cymbal. I suspect wireless ear buds while listening to a metronome via the phone, and a lot of rehearsal prior.
Easy, write the easy part for live performance
Watch the end brothers
its not edited he's actually duplicating himself he's that good
What are you talking about dude
the bass solo alone was epic enough for 5 videos...the brain power! How do you even think to do something like that...KUDOS TO YOU!!!!
That was cool! Closing with the Theme was brilliant…and the Rock Star approved Stick toss was great!
