If somebody is wondering where is Mix RGB node, it's nowadays called Mix Color and can be found under Color -> Mix Color (For some reason I myself couldn't find it with the search)
yeah that's right. In the new blender updated they changed the mix RGB node.
Come on I just finished your play list ... thank you for Another great procedural video
Thanks for watching my videos!!
This is great - simple, easy, elegant. Thank You.
you're welcome!
Just what I needed for my project, thanks for the tutorial!
thanks for watching!
thank you for all tutorials that you share with us, they are helping so mush
Glad you like them!
thank you so much, that logic you telling, so so so helpful for a fresh man!❤️🙌
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Another cool tutorial.
Thanks a lot!
You're very welcome!
I really impressed with this tutorial, thanks a lot😀
thanks for watching!
Great tutorial, thank you in particular for going through the lighting set-up.
For those whom follow: 9.38 - If you're getting a black sphere with a couple of white marks on it, check the Voronoi Texture's Exponent and make sure it's set to 1.
thanks!
that looks so nice, procedural rocks rock!
thanks!
Very helpful for a project I’m working on. Thanks for this
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this fantastic tutorial.
You're very welcome!
Thx a lot! I begin to understand how nodes work together because of ur great teaching skills! 1 Abo + ofc! :)
Heads up! If you are getting a strange subtle tile effect, turn on the experimental mode and subdivisions. I didn't think I needed it for my project, but it won't work without it.
thanks really needed this!
Glad it helped!
Super thanks !
You're welcome! 😀
very useful for beginners thanks
glad you like it!
Amazing 😍😍
Thank you!
THANK YOU
you're welcome!
Thanks!
Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it!
¡Gracias!
Thank you for your super thanks! I appreciate it!
Superthanks!
Thank you 😀
Hey thanks for the good tutorial, exactly what I need for my project :)
I just have a question: Whenever I apply this material to lets say a cube, and I scale one particular axis down, the material also appears squished. Is it possible to show the material independed from the scaling of the object?
Thanks in advance!
Dziekuje!!!
thanks for watching!
Legendary
Thanks!
What is the logic idea when you use node? Really want to know about it!
I didn't realize how good you were with procedural materials and more. I was gonna suggest that you use a Table of Contents (TOC) to use ytube's TIMESTAMP function, but you've already done it! (Since July 12th IIRC) You continue to impress.
Ty for your SciFi Mech robot series I just noticed on my visit. I'm gonna use it to refresh my boning (harder than adding all the bone empties to control the Armature, imo unless you get fancy), and animation skills that I haven't touched in over a year. At the same time I'm gonna watch your modeling, shading and parts management of your build. I am building a Bobble Head Optimus Prime, that will crash and be comforted by a Westworld Host, so this is directly applicable...
Thanks!
Thx much
You're welcome!
What's the best way for exporting textures and then attaching them to other objects?
Can you do a video on the roadmap of how you get the idea and make something in blender like you made those amazing robots . I actually have learnt the whole blender , thanks a lot to you
Thanks for the video idea! 👍
top!!
thanks!
can I just mix the noise and voronoi directly?? There is nothing between the noise and voronoi.
Thanks a lot for the tutorial, I'm learning a lot! But I have a problem, when I connect the displacement node (13:19) and change the scale it just scales the original shape as a whole instad of just the dark/white parts, so there's no bumps, not really sure what to do and cant find a solution online.
hmm, hard for me to know exactly what the problem is when I can't see your node setup. There could be a number of reasons why that's happening.
@@RyanKingArt no worries I fixed it, I somehow duplicated some nodes on top of each other and that was causing it to malfunction, still thanks for answering and great video!
@@cartoonstoons-q1r glad you fixed it!
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Is there any way to export this to unreal engine or can you only use this in blender ?
Okey so it seems its not possible to really bake the uv maps made here to ue5 souu sad but you cannot use this fully for Unrealengine
What would you say is the hardest procedural material that you have made? Or the nose advanced?
The most challenging procedural material to make was the chocolate chip cookie. I spend days working on that, and re-started many times, before finally making a cookie material that I liked.
@@RyanKingArt damn sounds annoying to be honest
Hy Ryan, can I also use your textures from your texture pack commercially?
You can use my procedural materials that you have purchased for commercial use, as long as you don't resell, redistribute, or repackage the material.
Mine is mostly smooth around the edges, what's going wrong?
Maybe the displacement isn't working?
Is there a way to engrave the letter "A" onto this rock ???
Yes, you could add a letter A texture into the material, and mix it with the displacement with a Mix RGB Node.
@@RyanKingArt I'm basically trying to use one of the rocks you made (I bought it didn't have time to follow the tutorial) and add glowing veins within the rock. Any tutorial on how to do that ?
Can u make cave tutorial plss❤
thanks for the tutorial request.
it's not working :'( i just have a flat result. the only problem i can think of is that i don't have a mix RGB in the option but a mix so instead of having a color in the end I have result
I think the nodes have changed names since, I used 'Mix Color' and that works for me. Instead of 'Color 1' and 'Color 2' it just says 'A' and 'B' for the inputs.
Please Ryan, I will need you to upload a procedural cookie tutorial.
I'd like to do a procedural material on that sometime. Thanks!
Why is the Mystery Science Theater 3000 theme playing in my head after watching this?
I have no idea
@@RyanKingArt the logo for that show was an asteroid with "MST3K" written on it. It looked a lot like the result of this tutorial.

👍
DON'T HAVE A MIX RGB
In the new Blender Update, they changed the Mix RGB node, to just the mix node. So just add the mix node, and change the Float option, to Color. Then you can use it just like the mix RGB node.
Its just the noise texture + voronoid texture, why does it looks like real rocks???
Glad you like it. 🙂
