    I love watching blender tutorials in the same way as regular youtube videos, just sit and watch tutorial. It feels like watching blender gameplay

    The level effort seems nothing in front of the the level of complexity, you've been an inspiration for me since I was 13 in 2020 and now I can proudly call myself a 3d artist but in front of I am nothing.

      ​@@wallacesousuke1433 Blender is rapidly approaching that level of usefulness and is completely free, open-source, with a massive community to teach you literally anything you could ever know about any feature of the software. If you're ignoring all of that just to complain that people don't want to use programs that cost hundreds for barely more use, then maybe you're the only drone here.

    17:45 you can also hold ctrl while grabbing to enable the snapping temporarily, it also works if you've already enabled snapping and want to disable it temporarily while moving something

    Very, very impressive dude! The addition of particles at the end added SO MUCH to the overall effect! Crazy how such a tiny addition can change so much :)

    7:26 AddOn seems to be broken for 4.1 unfortunately, trying the Parent to nearest bone throws an error :(
    In case anyone else has seen the same thing, the error I'm being thrown is:

I find your videos about achieving realistic cinematography digitally via lighting and camera settings so impressive. I haven't used that particular alphanumeric email for twelve years but now it replaced my fun name. :(

    This technique would work really well for a War of the Worlds style tripod!
    Huge fan of your videos, it makes the end result so much more impressive when you can see how it came about. I guess it feels less like some black magic that you couldn't possibly achieve and highlights more the actual work and talent that goes into it

    Polyfjord great tutorial but at the point of duplicating the bracket clamps you could have used array modifier and follow curve modifier it would be easier instead of manually adding bracket clamps

    I love to see your thumbnail or to watch your result and then just try it myself before watching! I have made all the "links" for the tentacles our of two triangles. But a triangle with three suction cups on it just looks like those razors that dads used to have :D

    Hello, when I select all the IK bones and want to change the chain lenght, holding alt and trying to increase the number for all of them is not working. I am on blender 4.0

    Add poles for more IK control. There’s also a rigify advanced tentacle added in blender 4 but that takes things in a different direction.

    Just looked the final result and it's amazing... the movement could be improved though. This looks more like something moving in space than under water.

    you can fake caustics with just a plain under the light source. put a noise texture and a color ramp on the Alpha and adjust the roughness down detail up and scale down then add a light under the plane adjust the color and brightness now just animate either the detail value on the noise texture or swap it yo 4D and animate the W value it will render pretty fast as well
