    Using displacement saves so much time instead of modeling out all of the details!

    Thank you for the tutorial, looks great. I couldn't find the "Displacement and Bump" option first. But I changed the renderer to Cycles and the option appeared

      Ahh yes you need to use cycles for the displacement. Sorry I forgot to mention that

    If i were to try creating my stickman in 3D, how would you go about animating or rendering the head?
    You see i was thinking, the head would be a white sphere and then some how with some screen magic tricks and hours of no grass, get the camera to render a 2d purple outline around the sphere???
    I mean i have no experience with blender and 3d modelling but i just want to know, is it possible? And if so, how?

      Hello YusafAnimations. Thanks for checking out my video. Hmm, I know it can be done, I'm just not sure exactly how.

    Thanks for making this! Not sure if you'll read this at this point, but I'll ask anyway:
    Could you please make a *Rock Salt Lamp* Tutorial? I want to make a mineral texture/object that emits light from the inside! 😃
    This tutorial is the closest yet to what I want, but not quite, because it doesn't emit its own light. I'm not sure if you've made any tutorials about really rough emission textures.

    • @RyanKingArt
      @RyanKingArt  8 месяцев назад

      thanks for the tutorial idea. I will consider it.

      @@RyanKingArt Excellent! There are already a handful of tutorials on glowing crystals, but none on glowing minerals. Even though rock salt is still technically a crystal, it's more like a mineral, at least in terms of its texture's roughness and transmission, so a tutorial about **Rock Salt Lamps** in particular would be unique and helpful. Thanks in advance for making that future tutorial! 😄

    Thanks for making this tutorial. I've been following tutorials for a long time, and I got a lot of knowledge about blenders on your channel. Thank you very much. If I may ask, can you make a tutorial how to make fighter jet like MIG 29 / SU-34 / F-15 / F-14 or others? thank you very much

    Hey! Thanks for sharing. Loving this as always. Btw, sometime ago, you mentioned some 3 party blender render applications, which can help us render fast. Can you mention it again here. I tried to find it but couldn't. Thank you.

      I think that is Blendergrid you are talking about. Its a render farm service. You can find my link to Blendergrid in the description of this video: ruclips.net/video/mYgznqvbisM/видео.htmlsi=B1RfVUslFM3Sxc1c

    22:06 I think you can just add another Group Input, instead of using one single node to connect all the dots. At least it works in geometry nodes. This way you don't have a massively overloaded group input

    Thanks for the tutorial, I’m having a problem at the minute 3:32 with the proportional editing and changing the shape of the rocks. When I select the vertex and press G the whole 3 spheres are moving but the shape is not changing. I don’t know what to do. Maybe is because I’m using IOS?

    • @Walthanar
      @Walthanar 6 месяцев назад

      probably the radius of your proportional editing is HUGE in comparison with the size of the rocks! Scroll UP (yes, UP lowers the radius) with the mouse wheel until you see the circle becoming of a size that makes sense for the transformation you need to apply

      I'm really not sure. I think Disney uses there own private 3d software, so if you are very skilled with Blender and have a good portfolio, you might be able to get hired, and they might teach you how to use there software. Don't know for sure.
