When I ran through the tutorial superficially, my brain just exploded. But when I began to invent and started understand the meaning, everything immediately fell into place. Great tutorial, thanks for you Ryan!
@@RyanKingArt Hi again, i wanna ask, whether you will update your tutorials for Blender version 4.0. I've often racked my brains over a new interface that's different from yours
I can't go back and re-make all of my tutorials. I have over 600 videos on my channel, it would take forever to re-make all of them, and then there would just be another blender update and I'd have to re-do it all over again, so its just not possible. But most of my tutorials you can still make with the new blender versions. @@remyreki
Hey Ryan, I really appreciate your tutorials. They have helped me and my art a lot. You seem to have a very good conceptual understanding of procedural shading. Have you ever considered making a video which delves into the theory of developing these kinds of materials? Tutorials are nice to follow, but I would love to gain a better understanding of these concepts so I can start to iterate and make materials of my own!
Seriously amazing tutorial just finished and barely had to rewind you are just tooo good! Thanks so much for explaining everything and making this dive into creating textures less daunting!
I'm legit laughing right now. This would've been completely perfect to have... two days ago when I made a scene using asphalt! Still, this is great and thank you!
Amazing, i love your videos! Sadly my pc is really old... Every time you add one more bump my pc getting heat attack! XD I am glad for eevee and this texture just blow up my project, still really nice job! Your videos are blessings for noobs like me to get to know how to do things in blender! Thanks!
i just wanna understand why you use the mixRGB 5:00 between the noise texture and the Texture coordinate why you didn't just put the color from noise texture to color1 and color from Voronoi texture to color2
I really love this and your other tutorials, especially the detail and how you organize your stuff! I've got a question about all your procedualmaterials you could use as a ground, is it possible to modify them so they look wet? I tried to combine other tutorials with your but failed successfully...
Great video - just a question about lookdev view - I now just get a green shimmering sphere, but the rendered view looks great - this happens in cycles or Eevee - do you have video on how to setup for either rendering engine - cause I think I set something wrong
There must be something wrong with my Blender, I'm doing this on version 3.3 and every time I reach the point of connecting it to the material output, round about the 19 minute mark, Blender quits out on me - every time I try it - so I'm sort of hitting a brick wall here

Amazing. Almost hitting 70k subs. Congrats in advance Ryan 👏
Thanks! yes I should hit 70K later today!
Just thinking about procedural asphalt... that i need this for my project. Just in time! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Wow. That's very very good. Tons of things we can reuse for other things. Thanks a lot. Once again, you are good, very very good.
Thanks!
Congrats on 70k man! Your tutorials are so easy to understand!
Glad you like them!

Thank you very Ryan very much for these tutorials, you’re truly the king of arts
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching.
Congratulations on reaching 70k subs!
Thank you so much!
Wow, that impressive. There's something inviting(attrative) about your tutorial. great work. i hope people watch the ads
Thanks!

Congrats on 70k!
Thank you!!
Breathtaking!
thanks!!
I just love your voice xD thanks a lot this is really good and explained simply
Thanks!
Amazing 😍😍
Thank you
🙏🏼 great tutorial ! Thanks

Ahh ok. 🙂 Thanks!
Had the same issue with the sand one. lol
PS watching your tutes I can never look at Fallout 4 the same way....Im assaulted with an array of custom and procedural open world textures! 😂
Lol 🙂

You should try Procedural Rubber Material (i want it for a project and i'm no good with procedural xd)
Great idea! Thanks for that. 👍
damn it gotta be magic
hope you like it.

Maaaan, you saved my ass from firing:D thank you!
thanks for watching!
This is so great but I wanted to see the material on a road or any scene
sometime I'd like to make a procedural road material with lanes.
Thank you, always helpful.
How would I insert a white stripe on the road?
I wonder if you could make a procedural tomato soup texture
Lol! That would be cool! 🥣
LOL

How do I make the color darker. I tried 2 color ramps for the color group and even add a RGB curves. Doesn't work.
How could you scale up all of the textures? I tried making it on a plane but the plane was big so things like the cracks were enormous
try applying the scale of the plane so it becomes '1' and then apply the texture...worked for me!
👍👍👍
Thanks!

Hmm im not sure. I just made this material for cycles.

hmm it could be a bug in blender.
the second i added the 2nd bump, my frames decided it was time to leave
Are you using the Eevee rendering engine? I've found that Eevee gets kinda laggy when using very detailed bump data. I'm using Cycles in the tutorial.
@@RyanKingArt I tried on both Eevee and cycles with gpu rendering. They both had massive frame drops.
@@mrmoopne same i also tried to lower the details of it but still it's pretty unstable 5fps :(
