How are you isolating the view of the blown out areas of the camera raw filter around 32:00? I see you quickly toggling between normal preview and an isolated view but I don't know what shortcut you're using! Edit: I think I found it, Alt key while sliding!

When I finish sculpting, I apply a new material from quixel just like you did and I just get a sort of brown color and nothing in the uv editor.. Can you help me deal with it ? Hi there hello, so I was following along as I was really inspired to do this, and I noticed that in my Blender the Ambient Occlusion thing that highlights the outlines does not work. Does anybody have a solution for that? Other than that awesome video really inspiring!
Not sure if this will help you but ambient occlusion only shows up in Cycles, not Eevee. So if you're in material preview mode or your render settings are set to Eevee then you won't see it!
You can persevere, don't always think that you need to have the latest hardware to work, plenty of people do amazing stuff with very limited hardware and people have been making really cool renders many many years ago with slow gpu's or even on their cpu, be clever about your render settings, render only certain areas while you're testing things out, maybe batch 4 or 5 renders and leave your computer on at night so you have different camera settings to choose from the next morning, keep up at it and I'm sure you'll eventually be able to afford a new shiny gpu and you'll even appreciate it more once you have it, cheers!
Hey Max, I have a bizarre question. What is the best way to consume your tutorials?. 1. Follow along with blender opened up 2. Get general tips and techniques 3. Im curious please, I constantly feel like im not maximizing your tutorials and its frustrating
