You deserve much more exposure, your pieces are immaculate and you go through the full process and a very digestible way I love your vids been following for a long time, keep it going man it's amazing!!
First of all, it's super helpful seeing something massive broken down all the way to individual components because "where do I even start" is a huge barrier but... like and subscribe earned just for introducing me to Poly Haven 😂
I am naturally aversed to any 3D processes but this video is a really nice insight into a relatively simple process that is just executed very well, makes it so much more palatable to try out! Great stuff!
These videos are so helpful in regard to making me feel like I can create more complex scenes and renders. Lots of inspiration from your stuff. Thanks!
then when you are done modeling that entire scene you now have an asset library full of buildings in the style you referenced. So i guess overtime you wont need to model just drag and drop assets. this was really cool and you broke it down really well. I am a new to blender
I have a question: Whenever you prepare a complex scene with each object having a big amount of verticies, how many hours does it take you to render it? I dont think it can be done in less than 5 hours for this scene in my opinion. İts quiet a lot for a simple looking render which is actually really complex.
For stills mine renders in like a minute or two. But I have a very good graphics card. For animations much longer. If your pc is terrible Id recommend the new Eevee Next - not a perfect solution but works pretty well and sometimes just as good as cycles
@@maxhayart Well my pc is not terrible but my graphics card is probably not that good. I dont know stuff about compter parts so I'm not sure. I want to make an animation which I will probably use Eevee. But I sometmies try renders in cycles and it takes a lot of time to even render a detailed texture with displacements usually. So I cant probably make a render like yours. But I was just curious. So no problems. Thanks man, appreciate it 👍
wow your tut is excellent i am trying to create a royal capital of a fictional kingdom and I can't seems to get it correct Is their any good advice and workflow tips on large scenes thks
Hey, max hay, apart from RUclips do you have any Job were you implement 3D modeling and texturing, outside of RUclips, and if you do please what is it are you a cinematic environment artist, game environment artist or environments for movies??
I recorded a good chunk of the modelling - I cut out some of it since it got a bit repetitive but I show the full process I use to create these models from scratch.
Hello Max, I believe that a lot of us would say, that you desperately need the add-on which tracks and displays the keyboard buttons you are pressing. I love to follow your guides, but spend double the time trying to figure out the shortcuts you are using and not describing.
I think your organization i key to a project like this. And for art render specific. But for game art.is tottaly different thing.Thats where the problem start. You have to model as one complex mesh.
Fantastic. I am overwhelmed and impressed not only by your talent, but your organizational skills!
07:56 "U can definitely make that" 😂🤣. I think.... may beeee.... yeah))
Max - I don't wanna overwhelm you
Me - Gets overwhelmed

Another day, another banger. Keep up the good work max

I love the Roger Dean vibes in this image. Wonderfully done!
I totally appreciate the level of confidence you put into your audience. Great work and great explainer. 👏👏
Your work is simply incredible. I hope one day I can do even 10% of what you can in Blender. Thank you 🙏
These videos are so helpful in regard to making me feel like I can create more complex scenes and renders. Lots of inspiration from your stuff. Thanks!
You make this looks really simple!
It's gonna help me a lot since i struggle a bit to create big scenes.

The result looks fascinating! Many thanks for the insights into the development process.
finally i found tutorial where explain how to make huge scene and complex model on the real project, not only "look what i made"
Amazing scene and inspiration as always!
Nice.. an example of leveraging modular design of atomic components
Just can say thank you sir for your worthy tutorials ❤
ive worked on so many models like this and it never occurred to me re use models lmao : )
Thanks for sharing Max! Time to make something cool for my insta..
This is AWESOME!
Insane !

I was just looking at castles on blender kit and now I see this video
Excellent work
Funny thing is I actually looked up blender castle tutorials earlier today
Impressive! thanks for the guide, was quite usefull!
amazing!! thank you for your video!!!
The Michealangelo of Blender!
Good Job !

Thank you so much !!

Are the planes that make the sky have emission or how are they not blocking the sunlight like the alpha clouds?
You can actually just disable the shadow for that object if its blocking the sun. Its in the object properties tab somewhere I'm pretty sure
What blender version do you use in the course?
4.0
Amazing.. in this course do you learn modeling and shading?.. or only give the assets and make render?
I recorded a good chunk of the modelling - I cut out some of it since it got a bit repetitive but I show the full process I use to create these models from scratch.
How to make realistic water pls make a tutorial ❤❤ pls pls

That's my castle 🙂
What?
@@homborgor I mean I want that castle for myself bro 😂
@@XitijOviyan I was so confused 😂😂
20 minutes of yapping and nothing of value was shown, not even how to make the machicolations.
