That segment where you are talking about being patient about your project is so real to me.
Yeah really true. This time age is so fast and hectic.. but good things take time!
Its really important, in before to think about how complex the scene needs to be, to look satisfying.
This saved me so lot time because I always wanted to make things that are out of my knowledge and reach.
hit like an absolute truck. And honestly i think i needed that
Exactly! Somehow every project follows this wave of disappointment from it's not pretty to wow this just might work. So recognizable. Subbed!
same
here's an easy remedy, whenever you start getting those dark feeling of being impatient / frustrated / not satisfied ... u name it.... just save and get out, go take a break...it'll refresh your brain, than when you'll come back you'll be another person, an art supervisor and you'll correct your work and take it to another level.
Damn, that final shot is probably the most realistic render I've seen in a RUclips tutorial
:O wow thank you!!
true
@@SplitGraphics Unfortunately Aaron Westwood doesn't make tutorials, otherwise he would definitely be the GOAT (but he uses C4D and Octane)
Me too man, its amazing!
3/4 backlight, preferable low in sky. Use it. It makes everything look epic.
I swear to god this man is the reason i got into blender because of how realistic his grass was in the last project
hahah thats amazing thank you
your texture work is beyond talented, that's some really creative workflows you've demonstrated here. Completely agree with the patience thing, that's probably the hardest part to overcome in any larger scene, thanks for also mentioning some of the obstacles you worked through in creating this, makes the whole process so much more relatable and transparent.
waited 3 months for ur video but it was worth it. really liked ur way of teaching
thank you so glad you enjoyed :)
all of your videos are hidden gems, you really set the bar for realism
You know your stuff, i appreciate the detail you go through to really break down what you did to produce this. Lots of very useful tips in here.
Honestly I watch loads of these tutorials your so humble dood, your work is absolutely mind blowing, thanks so much for sharing how you do this.
Thanks so much thats really nice!
wow. i am stunned. this tutorial is incredibly helpful and full of techniques and advices. thank you so much for uploading. i am using blender now since 2017 and i have never come across environment art because i never really knew how to approach it. but i think im finally getting the hang of it now
I just wanted to drop by and let you know that your Blender environment creation tutorials are truly amazing. you're filling a much-needed gap in blender environment creation tutorials.
Please keep up the great work and continue creating more of these fantastic tutorials. You're making a real difference in the Blender community and inspiring many aspiring 3D artists like myself.
Ah thank you so much Sachin! That's really nice to hear :)
Dude the final render is so realistic! Like the previous, I learned so much from this video. Thanks for making these. Amazing work!
Ah thanks so much!!!
DUDE, THIS IS AMAZING! I've just gotten into 3D and seeing your tutorial is SUPER inspiring! I have ambitions to create mods for Skyrim and Stalker and just seeing what can be done gives me butterflies in my stomach with excitement lmao
Beautiful render. Your frank discussion of frustration and having to overcome it with patience is an inspiring reminder that the artistic process ain't all roses, but it's still worth it in the end.
Thanks so much Lonnon :)
Man please start regularly posting on Patreon, I am faulty proficient in blender and my renders are decent but you are on another level of knowledge , i learned so much on your videos man thank you
Ah thank you so much!! And totally! Patreon will have weekly tuts and other 3d vids. There's already two videos there: creating and texturing mountain terrains & volumetrics
Well well well. This is inspiring beyond belief
Ive been working on a film project that im very excited about, and it has alot of the same theming that this scene has.
But as you mentioned in this video, its easy to get swept up and feel like its not coming together quick enough.
But not just is this one of the most photo real things ive scene a blender artist make, but this has allowed me to fully step back and appreciate how to make something like this.
The way you presented adding details simply yet efficiently, aswell as how you tackled the modeling stages with a clear mind is over all encouraging.
Im 100% subscribing.
That's awesome Nimo, super glad you got something out of it! And good luck on your film!
Ah-may-zing! Thank you for sharing the painfulness of the process. Most if not all artists are highly critical of their work. I loved where you showed how you problem-solved the asphalt and gravel line by experimenting with different approaches, then you ended up creating it yourself. Those final touches really pushed it to the max. You have a great eye! Awesome job!
Thanks so much Richard!
You're tutorials are really great! I hope you keep creating more like this.
amazing shot, i've been studying bleender for just 2 months and i'm really havving fun while watching this tutorial
Looks great! All that detail work and patience really paid off. A valuable lesson I need to incorporate.
Man , thanks a lot for making such a tutorial, this 10 minute video has a lot of information to grasp on , and probably going to recreate this scene to know all of the techniques 🔥🔥
First time I've seen the most realistic render in blender 😍😍
eyy
Wow! That end result is so realistic. Great work.
Im new to Blender and always wanted to make something like this but never knew how to start. Great video and explanation its great seeing your thought process and ideas
Thanks Noah!
I have a good knowledge of all 3D fundamentals like modeling, shading, rendering.. but never knew how details are made in these scenes like the graffiti alphas and texture painting and moving your polygons to match parts of images. This is cool
Stunning! I love realism in digital arts and this is so perfect. I wish if there was a subtle environmental movement.
Trusting the process is usually one of the greatest challenges I meet. For bigger stuff I always end up getting super discouraged… Thanks for an inspiring idea
Another amazing video man. I learned so much! Especially painting with decals. I feel like you gave me the final piece of the puzzle. I want you to do a million videos.
You're so underrated 😭😭 your work is astonishing you deserve more subs!
Ah thank you :D

Probably the most entertaining and exciting breakdown I have seen in many months. I am still very new in Blender and understand 10% of the artistic speak you use but you give us a feeling that with a little discipline and self confidence anyone can do this! Many thanks. Liked and sub'd!

Nicely done, man! Keep it up! ❤
Looks incredible!!
Thanks Daniel
This video is gold .
Keep going!!! Give us more of this badass stuff
This was fantastic, the only thing i think would make it even better, would be to highlight the blood a bit more, maybe make it a thicker trail and have that light glinting off it subtly, something to draw your eye to the trail a little bit more. Fantastic work and tips though, ill be referencing this video to make something of my own im sure. Thanks!
dude this is so sick nice work
That's really dope 😱 love it 💖
Wow, this is cool project 😮😮👍
