      why make a static render in 3d if you can generate the same or better in stable diffusion?

    • @Denomote

      @@---Nikita-- where's the fun in that

    • @---Nikita--
      @---Nikita-- Год назад +2

      @@Denomote same question for making static art but in 3d. but okay... someone paints with oil on canvas, restores vintage cars in etc. it's ok

    • @Denomote
      @Denomote Год назад +31

      @@---Nikita-- the artist here is doing it as a hobby, not a job
      also creating something you're proud of and showing it to the world is objectively way better than simply hitting a generate button
      when someone looks at a great art piece that someone spent hours on, they say "wow this must have taken a long time, it looks incredible" it's like the artist that made it earned his title as an artist
      but when someone looks at a generated art piece, they tend to completely forget about the "creator"

    Its so simple yet so detailed, I always worry about the detail when making scenes which would discourage me from even starting, but after seeing this video it really shows you don't need to fret over every detail to make it look good.

    • @ChillieGaming
      @ChillieGaming Год назад +5

      Well if it's a 3d render with far away distance then yea don't waste time on things that won't ever be seen.
      But if you are making a game then yea detailing each part while maintaining art style and performance is crucial

      I think you're not in a fraction aware of how much more you can achieve in Blender. I mean, no doubt this video covers an excellent work of environment design, but in Blender you can do so much more. You can sculpt, animate characters, sequence whole videos, add soundtracks, perform fluid simulations, prepare models for 3D printing and so much more...

    • @mipe7755
      @mipe7755 Год назад

      And fun fact, you don't need to pay millions. You can just follow some free basic courses here on YT, cuz really, he's mostly using basic techniques. Maybe only particle systems and ivy generation I would consider semi-advanced.

It's never too late to start a new hobby but it will take years of practise for me to be able to comfortably work with this program. Unfortunately I don't have the time in my life right now. Watching stuff get designed like this is really therapeutic for me.

      I started at 3D design at the age of 35, 3 years ago. Started a new piece every few weeks, and fell off the wagon a year ago after life got too busy. I started again 3 weeks ago and have already made some of my best stuff, recreating my very first character piece but 100x better, It takes work, but if you put in even a little amount of time over a steady period it will begin to click. You just need to supplement it by watching the right tutorials.
