These little rigs are so fun to build, upgrade, and tune on. I quit rc about 10 years ago, I got a scx24 c10 last October and have 8 rigs since then. It is definitely a great time to be in rc with all the options of parts and rigs. I never thought I could have so much fun while going so slow
In 2024 What would be some of the best tire choices for grip, especially smooth surfaces like rocks? Any really soft, sticky compounds that stand out? Im looking for an average size, not a larger tire. I'm new to crawling and i'm trying to get the best tire on the first try without having to switch to something else later.
The DJ crawlers on my yellow scx24 in this video are 56 mm not to big but work really well , all the DJ crawlers are good, and any new tire made in last few years from injora are really sticky too
Put the links on the front that came in the box, have to cut the body to clear servo, it lays shocks down , it's 4 linking the front for more Articulation , then do my Mods in the back and it's a climbing beast
Good to know! I dint have the jeep myself. My son has a deadbolt and the new power wagon and i have the c10 along with the wower wagon but i will definitely be loking into this for a few of our rigs! Thank you for the information!
Did you change the upper links, and the drive shaft as well, just wondering since stock is 3 link on the front, and if you go to 4 link you would be missing a pivot ball? Thanks for sharing the video.
Yes , when you put the longer links that came in the box on the front, you make it a 4 link , gives you some more Articulation and you have to make a longer drive shaft and it's in box too , makes it climb good

It seems after further investigation, I will be short 4 pivot balls that push into the links.. did your extra links come with the pivot balls? Thanks
