      Yeah it does, and it's what Ive been using, but it's cool how the note pops up on MAnalizer without the need to hover over. Plus it's free. Downloading now.

      Even better, use Tuner in Ableton

    • @matrixate
      @matrixate 6 лет назад

      Paul Devro Torque from Waves actually uses something called Organic Resynthesis which makes it sound like you actually tuned the tom directly before recording it. Besides...Torque is far more accurate because it measures in cents, not semitones. That makes a difference.

      Dezqo Tuner is for "tone per unit time", so it can't display a hold of the tone for an instantaneous change in pitch...simple audio physics bro.

    Melda Productions plugins are really great.

    Is there anything in the waves plugin bundle that works like that melda m analyzer ? ????????????? Help

    What about higher frequencies like hi hats, rides or even claps that they more difficult to find it from analyzer?
    For Example, how can we choose the correct hi hat that fits with the key of a track I'm producing?

      This!

    • @NOLINK74
      @NOLINK74 6 лет назад +2

      usually hi hats don't have tonality to them. only sound that create a resonate that is decyaing slowly will create a pitch. Claps on the other hand, it really depends on the sample as well if there is a tonal frrequency.

    • @nodz007

      Claps, Snares and Hats normally span lots of frequencies and don't have a specific tonality. Pick sounds that sound right to your ears that compliment the tonality of your percussion, kick and toms. A lot of claps, snares and hats are made from white noise.

      Erald Lesi You can't pitch shift white noise but you can sculpt it with an eq. Try Torque from Waves...if anything could attempt to give you a natural sound, is Torque. God, I sound like I'm trying to sell it. Screw Waves for making such useful unique plugins. Oh...try Melda's MAutoPitch. I haven't tried it but the concept is such that it could give you a natural sound.

      just play them greatly downpitched to make analysis easier? all roots should be obvious, otherwise they dont have much of a root
      most hats probably dont need tuning, claps have some sort of tone to them, but sometimes it's better to tune them by ear, most rides have a tone so they're probably better to be keyed

    Hi, I was just wondering, do you know if the plug-in can be used for commercial purposes? By the way, I appreciate your helpful video. :)
    Thank you for any help you can offer :)

    Isn't working ableton tuner device for this?

    • @EnervatedSociety
      @EnervatedSociety 6 лет назад +4

      It doesn't work a lot of the time with percussive short sounds. It just won't register.

    • @chrissmith8784
      @chrissmith8784 6 лет назад

      It's shit for percussive sounds . I've found it even struggles with some kicks. I just use abletons spectrum analyser and do the above process

      Sail on the 7 seas until you can afford it, I think it's okay to do it if you really can't afford it. I started that way too, no one will shame you for it in the community at least, just don't brag about it!

    Three ungrateful unlikers still can't tune their drums.
