one feature i dont see anyone talking about is the fact that audio output in settings now has an option for "system setting" which means your audio will automatically change based on what your system does, for example if you have headphones connected and you unplug them, ableton will automatically switch to whatever your system does rather than coming up with the message "audio engine is off" which is super handy for us laptop producers that are constantly switching outputs
@@miownize6130 I was trying to figure that out too and ended up seeing the shortcut key on the Info View window on the bottom left while having a MIDI clip open. This is definitely a bigger upgrade than 10 was going to 11. It would be super dope if you could have session view inside of arrangement view and watch your performance get recorded in real time on one screen. The piano roll is looking fantastic. As far as drums it would put it on par with FL if you could change the pitch of a drum sample without having to put it in it's own separate track.

On Logic Pro, you just hit option and selected note ends will snap together. Very useful when recording in chords on MIDI keyboard and then cleaning up after. for me: piano roll in 12 still doesn't (have an option to) remember the last "clicked in" or drawn midi note length (in a clip), which FL's Piano Roll does easily and instantly by default also, no ability to turn off (disable) "all devices and instruments per track" to save CPU (which is honestly mind-boggling that they don't feel that's important, of value, or easy to implement) without having to do the Freeze as well as "hide/unhide tracks" (as per Bitwig)
The ability to turn off per track might have to do with their code architecture. It may look simple from feature point of view. But, in term of code it might be difficult without code refactoring.
@@thegoldenseedThanks for the reply ! I can manually turn off all the devices on a track.
