Why do all airports have a forest right in fornt of them?
Imagine surviving all kinds of war and shit and think you’re in the clear to see your family again only to die from a plane crash. Rip
RIP all who lost their lives.
To survive the war just to die in a shity airplane..:(
35 years until now it's still the deadliest air disaster in Canada.

“ ugh she’s flying like a pig” clearly the plane didn’t like that comment!!!
Today marks exactly 35 years since the accident. May they all Rest In Peace.
The pilot and air traffic controller saying merry christmas to each other is the cutest thing ever! The controller was even wearing a christmas sweater! Too bad that wasn’t very merry for the passengers.... rip
I like these short clips. 4 minutes and you have a good summary of what took place, instead of a 45 minute video containing 40 minutes of suspense building.
Last words from the Captain, And A Merry Christmas To You
Being from a Military family this hits quite close to home. RIP Everyone on board and a thank you to all the soldiers who died on board for your service. 😭
I suggest that 5 or more square miles around airports should grow maximum 5 feet or low plants to perform emergency landing.
Did anyone notice .. it was Dec (12 month) in 1985... And the flight number was 1285.......
The plane goes through all those trees but the last tree destroys the plane wtf
Flight 1285
I flew home from Rhein Main AB , having down my full enlistment requirements. I was a Arcraft Structural repairmen on Military aircraft. Waiting in line to board the aircraft we stopped by the fwd door as usual. Me and a fellow soldier Don Burnside began to notice hundreds of loose solid rivets around the door. So loose infact we brought it up to the Captain and others. They ignored it so the flight could get under way. We were scared to fly on this aircraft. Arrow Airlines- very unprofessional.
I’m from NL and considering how rough and horrible the conditions are it’s amazing that we haven’t had a lot of accidents. I’ve literally had a plane almost crash land in St Johns about a month ago.
Do the conspiracy theorists know
I would’ve took a hard look at that air traffic controller. That sweater he was wearing would’ve given me cause for concern.
