I love your chatty Podcast and hearing about your knits and favorite things. I too will use a finger condom on my pointer finger when I knit a lot. It’s a lifesaver! Can I give you a little tip? You are not alone on this I hear most podcasts say they have “casted on” a project. The past tense is actually just cast. No big deal. I just thought you might like to know. From one teacher to another.❤ hope you have a great school year. Thank you for all you do and your fun Podcast keep it up!

I visited Dandelion Fiber Co. this summer when I was in Shakopee for my son’s soccer tournament. I have never felt so welcome in a local yarn store! Lana was so kind and helpful, and the store had such a fun and relaxed vibe. I’m loving these podcasts - keep them coming!

You touched some of my fav topics today: mending, Japanese rise bags... Favourite things... Keep it going 😊 It's pretty cold here down under, but will try some of the light tops during summer.

I'm so inspired! I love everything you shared and talked about! The LINE yarn looks scrumptious and I can't wait to see what you knit up with it!

I used Line for a Margaux top and I love it! I was also inspired by Those Twins Who Knit. :) I loved the yarn so much I bought a sweaters quantity to use Line to make the Rota Sweater in the class/knitalong hosted by Dandelion later this month. I hope you love it too!

I’m using the black for the Rota Sleeveless! I’m so glad you’re doing the KAL. I’ll be there! 💛

I just finished using my Line that I bought at Dandelion in June. I made Plain Yoke Tee 20 Solo by Lene Holme Samsoe (leKnit). It was a quick knit of a simple tee that I really enjoy wearing as a staple. I have been pulled into the love parade surrounding Line and look forward to getting some more to possibly do a Tolsta Tee with stripes.

oh my. I love Maeve too. I have a ridiculous number of them. Curious about your intersection sock. Did you purposely knit the socks too big or was it pattern related? And what's your opinion if they were too be knit in a different sock yarn? Or do you think the cable makes them bulky. Thanks so much for sharing!

@@claireknitsnyc The Patons Kroy was really thick. I’d try them again on a SW sock yarn next time. They are too big because I knit toe up and am not good about heel placement. Usually do top down and am better about knowing heel placement. Cable doesn’t make them bulky, it was the yarn. They are a super fun knit though. 😉

It is actually pronounced “Lena”. 😁

It’s pronounced lee-ne in Norwegian and Swedish

Perhaps our host got confused/got faulty info because that LYS carries Laine, the Finnish magazine. (It was near the beginning of episode one, as the camera pans the yarn store.) That magazine is pronounced “lie na”, which is a Finnish word.
