Hi Kristin, So glad I found your podcast! We have so much in common and similar tastes in patterns too. I was a kindergarten teacher (4-5 yr olds here in New Zealand) and a mum of boys (4) You’re a natural on screen and very easy to watch and listen to. I must admit I’ve had a chuckle watching your episodes especially the nipple patch things! I also know what you’re going through with your son leaving home 😢 it’s a big adjustment and I hope your knitting and keeping busy can help a bit. It will get easier in time but as mums we feel the emptiness for sure 😔 Love your projects and your three favourite things, look forward to your next one!
I found your podcast from a ‘shout out’ from Emily, the Botanical Knitter. 🎉 Love her podcast & love the way you podcasters support each other. I started w episode 1 & looking forward to binging the others to catch up. Love the format. Happy podcasting❤
Hello! I found your channel when Emily The Botanical Knitter mentioned you on her latest episode ❤ So nice to "meet" you, I really enjoyed this first episode and have subscribed
So happy to have found your podcast, lazy swatcher here too 🙋♀️ Always do one, washed too; but it’s tiny 😂I am knitting my fourth Girlfriend’s Cardigan by ANKESTRICK. My daughter has two and I am making my second because I wore out my first! Living in our cold climate, I wear it everyday from November to April. Just east of you in Ontario Canada. It is very similar to the cape you mentioned, but it is an open cardigan. You might like that better for those “hot moments” 😊 Looking forward to more episodes, have a great day.
@@TRaceTK Thank you so much for watching! I LOVE that cardigan. I have also made it and couldn’t love it more! ANKESTRICK PATTERNS GET ME EVERY TIME! Hoping to bring more fun content that you will enjoy watching. Be well, k
Loved your podcast. I live in Bloomington and like you get up a hour earlier than need to just to knit. What is the pattern name of the blue tee you showed. I think you mentioned you are going to teach a class for it. Looking forward to your next podcast.
Thank you, Renee! The blue tee is called the Florencia. It is a little tricky to knit. I started a class last night, Wednesday, 5:30-7:30. It’s 3 weeks. I’m hoping to upload new podcasts each Monday.🤞🏻
@@barbarabullemer2876 Thank you for watching! I made the first size of the Rota Jumper. I was playing a little bit of yarn chicken and the size ended up being a perfect fit. Whew!
Great question! It is when your knits and purls don’t have the same tension when knitting flat. My purls are more loose and it shows up on my knitting no matter how much I tighten up.

Love your podcast and Dandelion fiber shop what size of the Rota jumper did you make it looks great on you? ❤

I use a nursing pillow ($20) that is great. I couldn’t justify $98 for a “gaming pillow”. 🙁
@@camderden2879 Yes, it’s the same exact thing! Thank you so much for watching!
What it “rowing out” mean?
