Glad you got around to talking about that amazing garment you are wearing! Has it got 3/4 sleeves? I’m in New Zealand and just wanted to say possums here are a pest. They carry bovine TB and destroy our native birdlife so finding a use for their fur is always good. Have you tried Zealana Rimu? It is a beautiful fingering weight 60% merino 40% possum.

I dont make sweaters for others but she is such a special person I cant say no to her. Wondering if you know of any good lace pattern tutorials you could mention or provide. I am hoping to finish off the Bergman Sweater by Boyland Knitwear tomorrow as my first finished object of 2025! It was knitted with my own handspun that I processed from a fleece. So from a sheep's back to my back!! I am 1/2 done with the Fairy Bouquet in 1 strand of Manchelopi and 1 strand of mohair. And I am almost done spinning up a fine shetland fleece that I dyed a dusty brick orange. It will be a sweater soon.

Kristin, of crocheted since I was nine just in the last year I’ve decided to really Knit socks and garments, but I haven’t gotten very far because I don’t have anybody to connect with as a support group which I think is everything. I live in Portland, Oregon. I wish you were closer. I’d sign up with your Knitting class. You’re great. I have started sewing again and wanting to make some garments also so those are my things for 2025 is build my confidence in sewing and knitting we’ll see how I do love your podcast. I will check out a few of these quite a few. I already know I watch a lot of podcasts, but there was a few that you had mentioned that I don’t think I know I’m gonna be looking them upso great thank you so much

I LOVE your scrappy fade scarf. Laughed out load about a stitch marker in your shower, that is something that would happen in my house 😂. I also work in schools, not a teacher. I work breakfast and do morning care in an elementary school and work lunch in a high school so I appreciate your school stories. I love your channel and wished you lived closer so I could come knit with you and your group 🙂
