don't forget about the hanging vines & foliage in some parts to Really terrify the deeper you go
interested to see how they'll do this considering most people hated this in the original so I'm sure it'll be improved
I actually liked this part.
They hated it? Why? It was very atmospheric and really fit the theme of half life to have an area that's much more taken over by alien biomass than usual.
True i hated it too i just noclip god mode skip this asap
i mean it wasn't particularly good but i never really hated that part. if they kept it roughly the same i wouldn't mind, if they somehow improved on it, then that's awesome
it's hated because it can kill players instantly in this part

Oh no, It's this part i was terrified from as a kid...
Ah, Foxtrot Uniform. The pitch black tunnels which left me shell shocked the first couple of times, until I realised that the arsenal I'm carrying is far more terrifying. Some Voltigores could've been easily lured to the tunnel's entrance and taken care off with RPG, tripmines, or even Shotgun. Displacer and M249 made short work of all remaining. In all fairness, I actually hope the studio won't litter the level with excessive ammo and make this part even more challenging.

It's at this moment that Opposing Force becomes ridiculously difficult...
This doesn't even look like the Source engine because of how well done it is. I can't wait for a Crack-Life but with weapons modified from the games where Sheprad and Barney are.
Looks super good. As a kid I was scared of this part of the game but whenever I revisited OF I made sure to light these fuckers up.

I wish there is an option to disable the fog effect in game, you can make a toggle buttom and enable it back if you get to a part where it looks bad without it, like in L4D2, but that game you can't increase the draw distance, so you see the limit in some maps.

It's probably because the audio may not be refined or maybe it's to not reveal music, which may be temporary. Just a guess.
And yes, the goggles look as good as butter.
