@@Nathan_Affronti technically it took about 10 years for 2/3 to release (not counting 2012 beta), and then another 4 for for the last 1/3

If the player decides to noclip during the campaign, they get teleported to Backrooms.
maybe as a secret location you can teleport to with the Displacer Cannon

@@DJL3G3ND Displacer Cannon was obtained during We Are Not Alone chapter. So if you self-teleport before that chapter, instead of Xen, you will be teleported to different levels of Backrooms (or maybe self-teleport from Xen cause in original game, self-teleport in Xen just re-teleport to the current Xen location)

I know you people have had problems with EvilGoodGuy and that coming to the resolution of kicking him out of the team was a huge decision that tore the team apart but come on, i's been _two years_ . EDIT: btw we all thought this was an April Fool's vid (and it is), but I love how there's actual content shown off here. The Alyx-style Xen-overtaken hallways, their Vort model, and the updated Displacer in the thumbnail (which I don't recall seeing shown off before)

I've been following the mod since 2012-2013 and I am happy by the progress you guys have achieved. Yes it was a loooooooong time but it will be worth it at the end! What I AM looking for is community custom maps and Remake of the best Opposing Force mods!

I’m incredibly disappointed with the recent decision to suspend a key member of your team over his personal opinions expressed on social media. It’s frustrating to see someone who has contributed so much to the project being sidelined because others couldn’t tolerate differing viewpoints. This decision feels like a knee-jerk reaction rather than a measured response.
While I understand the need for team harmony, it's important to respect freedom of expression and thought. Suppressing someone’s views because they’re unpopular or controversial is not the way forward, and it sets a worrying precedent.
What’s even more concerning is that this issue has apparently caused a significant rift within the team. This division not only threatens the cohesion of the team but also puts the entire project at risk. It’s disappointing to think that such a promising project might not reach completion due to internal conflicts over differing opinions.
I hope you’ll reconsider your stance and find a way to navigate differences within the team that doesn’t involve silencing or ousting valuable contributors. The strength of any team lies in its diversity, not just of background, but of thought.

Welp, this fell off very quickly than its competitor Black Mesa.
Not to hate on Black Mesa, but this looks much more faithful to the original games.
Eh, not really. We have Black Mesa: Blue shift that feels WAY better than Black Mesa. And this is already out, we would already chapter 5 out probably and it'd drown out the attention for this game.
@TheKingofBunga2912 Have you seen the artstyle and models? Black Mesa incident happens in 2001 yet black mesa game is more like 2021. This project is not affiliated with black mesa game and uses newer version of source engine. Also they arent "competitors" but different games retelling classic stories. Imho more quality half-life = better world lmao! :D
@Dasistrite Dude. Black Mesa doesn't take place in 2021. Are you trying to say Black Mesa Operation is more like 2001? That makes zero sense. Just because it looks "Realistic" doesn't mean it's intended to be in the future. And if that were the case then Black Mesa operation wouldn't be 2000's either.
@@TheKingofBunga2912 Black Mesa Marines use 2010-2020 year gear with urban digital camo, integrated kneepads, combat shirts, molle and weapons with RAS. In Half-Life 1 they use prototype test urban variant of US Woodland pattern from the 90's, their weapons are from 90's also they use alice load bearing equipment which was officially ditched in 97 but saw usage to around 2005. So yes operation black mesa game is more faithful to the original material in that aspect.
