  • The all new Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50 1x12 is one of the finest amplifiers that Mesa has ever created. It brings a broad variety of tonal expression to a guitar player's arsenal that few amps can while still retaining the signature Mesa Boogie sound and heritage that makes this American made amplifier an instant classic.
    Our guy Aram Feriants puts this gorgeous rig through it's paces using single coil and humbucker configurations to help you get a clear sense of how versatile this amp really is!
    Get yours from Cream City Music here: bit.ly/MesaFill...
    At the heart and soul of the Fillmore 50, you'll discover soft-clip to saturated-Mesa's most expressive gain ever presented in a simple 2-channel, 3-mode platform.
    Humbly named in tribute to the venues that showcased the biggest names in Classic Rock over decades, this new instrument has been dubbed super-responsive, nuanced, organic--"vintage-inspired Magic” by those who’ve experienced it. Subtle saturation that serves, not smothers, your style.

    Love how articulate this amp is! Though I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t use the that pristine clean without coloring it up with a pedal? Keep vacillating between the Filmore and the California Tweed?....

    I'm really torn now. I was all set to get a Carr Rambler. But this has me 2nd guessing that decision. Will need to hear it in person but truly great demo. Thanks!

      i still want a carr rambler, i think the cleans on this have a lot more hair, but i'd love to try one

      Curious what did you end up going with? Looking at both this and a rambler as well.

      @@jnr6025 Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50. Zero regrets and I think it is a bit more versatile than the Carr Rambler. With that said, I still want a Rambler. :-)

    I tried it. what I liked was the size an weight. not an amp for metal heads. I really liked the overdriven sounds.

  • @alexnuzzi4780

    I like playing the clean with the gain up and a klon boost. Odd how it gets so bass heavy like that vs the drive mod, nothing turning down the bass on the amp can’t fix

      Lonestar and Lonestar special are great amps too for non death metal guys. I've had a Lonestar Special since 2012, it's my main player. It has manageable weight for a Mesa too.

      Check out the Express series or an old Studio 22. There's lots of Mesas out there for medium gain.

    how are they compared to a blackface twin or deluxe?

    • @cocooreo100
      @cocooreo100 5 лет назад +2

      I own a 68 deluxe reverb and I just played a Fillmore a few days ago. The Fillmore has a lot more midrange. It honestly sounds more like a tweed clean but still keeps the low end of a blackface amp. And of course on this there's a gain control for more flexibility. But now that they announced the 25w I am considering that to pair with my deluxe.

    I don't know, sounds sterile to me [ something that is lacking in interest or vitality]. My JVM will kill this amp.

    • @anonymoususer3496
      @anonymoususer3496 4 года назад

      Totally different amps. The Boogie cleans are much better than the JVM. JVM has more gain.
